  1. For everything but open class, max shotgun capacity is 8+1?  Handgun capacity is 10+1?
  2. Are there rules posted anywhere?  I'm changing some equipment and want to make sure I don't break any rules.   I'm all about the monkey bars!
  3. Thank you sir - looking forward to it!
  4. I haven't seen anything on the next regularly scheduled 3-gun in Manchester on Sunday. Is it still on? I'm doing my first ever triathlon Saturday, but if I can move at all on Sunday I'll be there!
  5. You could also say that I came in last. It's all in your perspective!
  6. Thanks for the quick turn-around, Alan! Great match today - I really enjoyed all of the difficult scenarios.
  7. I may not pull the trigger well tomorrow, but I'll sure know where my rifle is shooting this time -
  8. It's looking like another hot match day - bring plenty of water and gatorade!
  9. I'll be there! I need to refine the FAL zero a bit first so I can finish that last stage this time I think...
  10.   But it didn't keep me from winning my class!  Congrats to DMark for winning his class as well -   I will definitely be watching my foot and the box next time.  I will also be double-checking my zero and practicing those 250 yd targets.  And shotgun reloading.  And planning my stage better so I don't shoot the pistol empty right after activating the mover.  And not grabbing the wrong ammo so I miss the clays with the rifle while getting into an awesome sitting position with one foot out of the box in order to get ELEVEN PENALTIES for three stupid clays.  :surrender:   I really enjoyed the challenging rifle targets today, even though they kicked my butt.  Thanks to everyone involved for making it happen!
  11. Maybe he will find me worthy as a student!
  12. Way to go Rickey!
  13. Aw - come on!  I'm bringing the FAL, but I'm wussing out and putting a scope on it.  Depending on the lighting and how it is painted I may or may not be able to clearly see a 10" target at 250yds with the naked eye.  I've been looking for an excuse to try this 1-4 scope out anyway.  We'll see if the man and the rifle are up to it, but I won't have any eyball excuses.  A 4 MOA target is nothing to sneeze at.
  14.   Hahahaha!  Aim at 45° and pray!     Only if you don't miss...
  15. Great news! Will the targets be big enough to see with the naked eye (iron sight friendly), or will I need a scope?
  16. What a great day for a match! Thanks again to everyone who made my wife and daughter feel welcome - they had a GREAT time!
  17. We're all loaded up and ready to go! We should be there pretty close to 9am for an early start. My daughter put 100 rds through my G30 .22LR conversion kit today and did great!
  18. Great - Sunday morning would work perfectly for us.  We're really looking forward to it!
  19.   I've talked to my daughter and she would like to shoot with/get help from Andrea if she's willing.  Any idea when she'll be there, or could you send her my contact info so we can coordinate?  My email is mstennett AT twlakes DOT net.  Thanks again for all your help with this -
  20. Let me talk to her about Andrea. She may be intimidated by shooting with someone that good (no matter how nice and helpful she is!). If Sunday is usually a slower day we may come out then. I'll see what she wants to do and go easy. I'm all excited about this, but the last thing I want to do is pressure her and make this something she "has" to do. Thanks again for all your help -
  21. Thank you again! And thanks to CatsEye for jumping on the bandwagon. If you prefer she shoot your ammo (being a known quantity) I understand, but I don't mind bringing factory ammo if it would help even the slightest bit. The practice bay would be perfect - I told her about your offer, and her first question was "can I try it first before I have to shoot it in the match?" In her mind this match is hard and heavy competition, and altough she'd never admit it she is afraid of showing up and looking like she doesn't know what she's doing. I've tried to reassure her how friendly and helpful everyone always is and that the day is about having fun and being safe instead of "competition". Thanks again for helping me prove that to her -
  22. You sir, are the man - thank you! Is there a particular time we should come that would be easier for you? I know you'll have a lot going on this weekend and don't want to add to your stress at the busiest time.
  23. My 16-yr old daughter is really struggling learning to shoot my G21 for this match (I know - well, duh!).  She's done pretty well in the past with my G30 and .22LR conversion kit, but the 230gr full power hardball is inducing quite a flinch for her and making this not very fun.  I'm afraid all I have are .45's.   I don't suppose anyone has a spare 9mm Glock they'd be willing to share with her for the match?  I'd bring factory ammo and pay a reasonable rental fee if you're willing.  She'd like to give this a try, but I don't want the experience to be so frustrating and punishing for her she never wants to shoot again.
  24. Interesting - I'm trying to talk my wife and daughter into coming out for this. This would be a great first match for them both.
