  1. I fell like more and more LEOs are starting to feel this way. Ever since 9-11, we have been living in a police state, and the Poice forces are becoming more militant each day. I do not like the stories I have read about Police being issued M4s, and Anti-"Terror" drills being ran. After what happened in New Orleans after the hurricane, (citizens being dis-armed), and what just recently happened in TX at the poligimist sect (4th ammendment rights being violated), I am worried. I have always heard and read about Martial Law, and it now looks like it might become a reality. I know, I know, my tinfoil hat is a little tight.
  2. I don't know how to do this right, but here is the video of "I shot the Sheriff". (Fixed) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlQYhdql3xc[/ame]
  3. I had a real good one about a Jewish Cop, but I didn't want to offend the Rabbi. J/K
  4. Whoa!!! You are stepping out of bounds here buddy. If that is the way you feel, than you have no business being a LEO. Too much emotion behind a badge. Besides my Step brother thought it was funny. (he is the cheif of police in Belle Plaine, KS.) But he has a sense of humor, and doesn't see himself as a "Super Citizen" with a black suit and shiny badge.
  5. I think after the store has offered their best and the seller refuses and starts to leave, it is open game. I am not so sure that the store would mind you paying "too much" after they refused to pay it. Now it would be wrong if the store employee said I will give you $240, and then you but in and say "I'll give you $250. That is an invite to get a ban from a gun store.
  6. Cmon' man You know what we call a pic with no sense of humor? I don't know but it definitely isn't a Ham.
  7. Look to the Quotes of Thomas Jefferson: "When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." "If God is just, I tremble for my country." "The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. " "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. " "The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive. " "A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine. " "A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government. " "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. " "Every generation needs a new revolution. " "Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state. " "Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves are its only safe depositories. " "Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny. " "For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security. " "History, in general, only informs us of what bad government is. " "I own that I am not a friend to a very energetic government. It is always oppressive. " "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. " "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever. " "It behooves every man who values liberty of conscience for himself, to resist invasions of it in the case of others: or their case may, by change of circumstances, become his own. "
  8. That must have been confusing at first. I can hear myself now. "What in the world was.......Oh hell yeah!!!"
  9. I have shot both, and I have traded my old one in for the new ones...(209 primer) and haven't looked back. But shoting the olders ones is still fun.
  10. The Bersa .380 is the best $200 gun around.
  11. +1 She is Hawt in that video.
  12. Since I carry a Glock, All I ever look for is Feed, Fire, Eject, and repeat.
  13. Great gun for the price. My Dad carries one everyday. My wife has one, and will probably carry it once she gets her permit (she takes the class this Saturday). I took my class with my Dad's 4 years ago. I really enjoy shooting it. It's recoil is very controllable, definitely better than the Kel-Tec's .380's recoil. A few of my friends are looking into getting one because of the small size for concealed carry. In the shorts wearing days, or when I am going into places where I'm not allowed to carry.....Did I say that outloud..... , I will carry my wife's Bersa "Mexican Style". When she starts carrying it fulltime, I will be buying another one for me, unless someone wants to get rid of their .38 special j frame. I don't think you can buy a better quality gun in the same price range.
  14. The only reason I have been looking at the Tapco, is because of the 6 position Stock. If you know of anthoer stock that has this option, please let me know. I am new to the 10/22 world.
  15. I bought this Ruger 10-22 at a Pawn Shop on Saturday for $100 out the door. As you can see I refinished the stock and painted some of the Alum. parts, and added a scope. I want to eventually get a Tapco stock for it, and a new barrel, but that will be latter down the road. I also bought two 30 round mags. I am taking it to the range tonight just to shoot it. Well I just wanted to share.
  16. Or his "Manly Parts"
  17. At least her finger isn't on the trigger. Good Job.
  18. I don't like the fella, but I think it was a joke. I say all the time, "I work 26 hours a day, 8 days a week," and I say it with a straight face and never miss a beat. Now is G.W. would have said it........that would be a different story.
  19. "It is easier to seek forgiveness, then it is to ask permission." "What one does not know, will not hurt." I would carry concealed, period.
  20. I like how his buddies didn't believe him. " What gun shot?...We didn't hear no stinkin gun shot!"
  21. It wouldn't be a Glock....because the plastic would melt.
  22. just voted we are ahead
  23. It took me a minute to figure out what "Smiff and Western" meant
