memphismason replied to strickj's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Does anyone want to take bets on how long it would take before an assassination attempt occurs if he is elect? No I am no advocating this, just a question. -

I think Kwik was being a little bit of a smart a$$ when he said he was planning on "pushing the limits" just my $0.05 (inflation) -
Thanks for all the replies. I think I will swing by the store you mentioned Clownsdd. Dang Mars, I can't help that I have older tastes. LOL I would not smoke it out in public just for that reason. It will just be an after dinner thing at home, or while I am at the lodge.

Does anyone here smoke a pipe? I have just decided that I want to puff a pipe. I enjoy a cigar every once in a while, and I love the smell of a pipe. My Uncle use to smoke one when I was a yougin, and I liked the smell then also. I have no knowledge of what to do or how to do it. I went to a tobacco shop yesterday (that now has been sold to foriegners) and started asking questions. I told him that I wanted to start smoking a pipe, so what do I need. I went inexpensive, so I could see if it was something I wanted to continue with, plus he didn't speak great english so he wasn't a big help. I bought a cheap pipe, a pack of cleaners, a pack of filters, a pack of "Smoker's Pride Cherry Pipe Tobacco" and an adjustable angle torch lighter, went home and tried it out. The taste and smell is not what I remember. What is a good pipe tobacco that is very aromatic?

A chill just went down my back......I was defending a person who if elected will tear down many things that this country stands on. I need to stop. I agree with what everybody has said. He is inexperienced, he is an opinion whore, and worse of all he is democrat. But I still hate to see people apologize for things that didn't say or do. Sorry Indians for the stealing of your land, Sorry black people for enslaving you, Sorry Mexican's for taking some of your land, Sorry American people for the high gas prices, Sorry.....etc.....etc..... It doen't mean anything coming from me, cause I am not the one to blame for any of them.

We are supposed to be able to say what we want , but that is not the case. We do as we are told, and learn to keep our mouths shut. Every day more people are turned into sheep. I better start doing a better job of getting my S.H.T.F. supplies up.

I don't think he chooses to, I think he is told to, for the race to the white white house. Apologizing for someone else is stupid. Just cause somthing was said in a church he use to attend, doesn't mean he has to take responsibilty for it. Hey I bet some illegal activities are going on at his old college, he better say he's sorry.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24882600/ This is becoming crazy. I thought here in the United States of America whe had a freedom of Speech deal. But it seems preachers are getting Obama in more trouble everyday. I am 100% against an Obama white house, but I hate to see someone in the "land of the free" to have to apologize for something another man said. This is crazy. There are preachers out there that say far worse things than that, I know I have heard some of them, but you can be damn sure I will not be apologizing for them. I bet other countries are getting kick out of watching our "Headline Breaking News". I am ashamed that this is how politics work.

Yeah I have also had to call Ruger a few times. Mostly to check on Dates of Firearms I have bought, but also I ordered parts for my 1965 Standard .22 pistol. After I received the parts I had to call them back because the Plunger was too long, and the lady explained to me that it was a "basic" plunger and all I had to do is snip the back of it off with wire cutters and it would work in my gun. The only other company I have dealt with that is equal to Ruger's Customer Service is Glock. Those are some nice people down in GA.

Thank you for sharing. I watched this yesterday, and it should serve as a great wake up call.

When the Show "Blossom" was canceled, fanny packs should have been canceled right along with it.
-
Definitely .22s. I love that smell
-
That will leave a pretty little bite mark.

I really like the Bersa. It is easy to shoot and handle. Great gun for the price.

We are considering Glock. It will be holstered in her purse most of the time, so with no external safety, I didn't want her to accidently discharge. But we are still considering it.

We have looked at the Taurus Mill. and my wife likes the way they feel. My cousin has one in .40cal, and when we both shot it, we didn't like it. We were not accurate at all, and she didn't like the recoil....(she likes my Glock Model 30 .45acp better than the Taurus .40) I was wanting her to shoot the same model, but in 9mm, to see if she likes it any better, but the range doesn't have one to rent. Angel, is yours 9mm or .40? How do you like it?

Well I will get to start a new game, well just a different twist to an old game. My wife just got finished with her fingerprinting, so now starts the Mailbox Watch Game. I know I probably won't start getting excited at first, but in a few weeks, the mail-lady better watch out. I am proud of my wife for finally going through with this. Range USA ran a special a few weeks back with some morning radio station. If you called the Range and said you heard their advertisement on the Blah....Blah....Blah...radio show, you could take the permit class for free. Well needless to say the last set of friends I told, said by the end of the day they were booked til July. Luckily, I got my wife on the list, before I started making phone calls. She took her class last Saturday, and passed, went and paid the $115 dolars today and just called me and said the fingerprints were done. Just though I would share. Dang, now when she gets the permit, I will have to look for me a new summer carry gun, ( I currently use her Bersa .380 for that).....Oh well, just a good reason for me to get that .38spl I have always wanted.
