Thanks everyone. Lynchburg is just a "goof off day" and gives me a reason to go to Nashville via another route besides 40. Plus I hear the tour of JD is pretty nice. I will def. call ahead and make sure they will be opened. Most of our time will be spent in Nashville and in Adams. I have also been to the Sheraton, very nice. Every Year the CAAS (Chet Atkins Appreciation Society) hold their convention there...but it is more than I want to spend. Last time we spent the weekend up there we stayed at: Best Western Music Row 1407 Division St Nashville, TN 37203 And we were not pleased. That is why I would like to stay somewhere else. We stayed in Antioch back in 02, and we didn't have any problems, but I will deffintely take yalls advice and avoid there.

The wife and I will be traveling to Nashville on Oct. 24-27, and we are looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay at. We have stayed at a few different hotels up there in the past and were never really pleased 100% with any of them. I can't stand paying to much for a crappy room that I am just going to spend 8 hours in a day. We are planning on going to Lynchburg on the 24 and then coming on up to Nashville that evening (touring the Jack Daniel's Factory Friday) then go up to Adams, TN. to the Bell witch Cave on the 25 (all Day Sat.) then take the wife shopping all day Sunday at Opry Mills and what not on the 26 (all gosh durn day Sunday) then come on home Moday sometime. So......where do you Nash Vegas guys like to put up Family or Friends when they come. Inexpensive but still descent. I would love to spend under $60 a night. Thanks for any help This is where I am currently thinking about, they are just outside Nashville a little ways. Crestewood Suites 665 Myatt Dr Madison, TN 37115 $48 a night http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/htid=859674/crti=4/hotel-pictures Antioch Quarters Inn and Suites 1100 Bell Road Antioch, TN 37013 $50 a night http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/htid=967420

As soon as I get me a bike (a big wish), I will joing the "Widows Sons" (Masonic Riders Association)....not a MC it is a RA (Riders Association). The TN Grand Chapter is here in Memphis and I already have a few friends who belong to it, and they are all brothers.

He also joined the "Stoncutters".....ie Masons. We always get a good laugh out of that one

Damn.....I already have three pair.....oh nevermind.

I have enjoyed the first two shows. I think this might turned out to be a pretty good show. I am also considering a bike, so this is appealing to me also.

Yeah, I am not saying they think they are playing GOD........I am saying....that I think they are. I know they have no faith in a Creator, and that science is their God. But I say Someone created the matter that slammed into each other. I don't dispute Science, but I do say there is a Higher Power behind the scenes. That is it....I don't want to have to explain any farther. This topic was not intended to go down the Faith Road, and it has, so I will gracefully bow out.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26439957/ Once the machine is in full operation, two streams of invisible protons will be whipped up in opposite directions around an underground racetrack to 99.999999 percent of the speed of light. When the two waves of protons slam into each other, scientists expect particles to melt into bits of energy up to 100,000 times hotter than the sun's core — a state that should replicate what the entire universe was like just an instant after it came into being. The LHC's scheduled startup had to be delayed 10 months to install and test a fix for the faulty magnets. Even with the fix, there's no guarantee that the magnetic field will always hold. A runaway proton beam could blast right through its helium-cooled pipeline and kill anyone who got in its way. That's why the tunnel is sealed off for each run. If anything goes wrong, a computer-controlled system will shut down the collider and send the errant beam down a blind alley within milliseconds. However, if everything goes right, each pulse of protons will whip around the ring 11,000 times a second, traveling the equivalent of a trip to Neptune and back before they slam into the protons going the other way at four points around the ring.

I do! Trying to recreate a Big Bang (on a smaller scale)........sounds close to Creator to me.
-
To me it is a little un-nerving, simply because we are playing the role of God (The Creator). Also the power generated when these two particle collide, will be something that is unknown until we do it. It could be TEOTWAWKI, or it could be the start of an alternate enrgy source to help the planet. We just don't know. But we will find out on 10-21-08

Wow this has gotten stupid. It is just a question.

Where did you read he had to open carry? I didn't. He simply said his favorite cover shirt was dirty so he chose to OC. Which is not a valid reason to open carry, just an excuse to see what would happen. Which is fine cause I open carry sometimes and Love It! (it makes me feel like Arnold) Again I say how he came about OCing that day has nothing to do with what he was trying to get across in the post. Doesn't matter. His point was well noted, but in the process of the story I had a question come to mind, so i asked.....is that ok with everyone?
-
I am also in agreement with both statements
-
This is a forum for discussions.....and that is what we are having Exactly!!! I have opened carry before and it was a conscious decicion on my part. I am a fat guy, and I carry a Glock M30 in a Fobus Paddle holster on my strong side at 3 o'clock....and that is with one or two shirts on. Even in the summer when I wear a t-shirt, I still wear an undershirt (it helps to contain my volume), and when I carry the Bersa "Mexican Style" the dove tail does dig in me, but I just roll with the punches. I am not busting balls or anything, just curious on why you "had" to Open Carry, and was wanting to learn the reasons just in case I want to and someone gives me sh*t about it.

Why couldn't you have just worn a shirt un-tucked?
