  1. I have had all the equipment to Turkey hunt for the last 2 springs, and have yet to do it. Maybe I can get out there this spring.
  2. Very Nice. I wished I knew you were going, and I would have given you the cash to pick me up one of those hats.
  3. That sounds like a lot of fun!!
  4. The few times I seen deer, I didn't see twins either. Strange
  5. A good friend and myself took to my favorite ground blind Saturday morning. On the way into the land a rabbit was in the road. Walking to the blind, a Turkey was roosted in the tree aboe my blind. And we saw some FAT squirrels......but that was it. I never put a jacket on, cause it wasn't cold enough for it. Then it rained hard for about 2 mins, at 8:30, and I get wet and then a little chilly. So we left out of the woods between 9:30 and 10:00. On our way home on highway 64, we saw 23 empty four weelers, and the check out station in Whiteville only had one car in front of it...so I am thinking not many people had a good morning of hunting.
  6. After a sorry a$$ day of deer hunting yesterday I put a few rounds through it, and it shot flawlessly. I think I have a new favorite toy. I think I will find a laser to put on it for plinking at cans.
  7. Thanks everyone! I am ready to got put a few hundred rounds through it. I will probably shoot it some tomorrow after I get through hunting in the morning. LOL..Halfpint....I will send it your way. This is the same gun I was telling you about. The friend that told me about it kept calling it a Mosquito, and he was wrong. LOL...doesn't matter, I would have been happy with either one. I will also be shooting that Kahr tomorrow.
  8. My wife's Bersa Thunder .380, will not eat Wolf ammo. I have no idea why, but we always have problems with it. I just quit buying for the Bersa.
  9. That is pretty neat. All I have seen so far are some squirrels, but that is definitely cool.
  10. When everybody was counting down the New Year, I was counting down to my birthday. I am a News Year baby, and right after the countdown, the Kiss, and the Toast, my wife gave me my birthday present.....a Walther P22. A friend of mine told me about this gun. A friend of his bought it, ran two mags through it, and put it up. He only wanted $125 for it, and I would have got it but it was just before Christmas, and we were still buying gifts for other folks, so I let it be, but my wife remembered it, and got it for my Birthday. I think we got a good deal
  11. Welcome. Hopefully this site will offer the information you are looking for. Also in the process you will get to meet some pretty good folks on here.
  12. Punisher, I hate to see you bow out. I have really enjoyed reading this thread. It has caused me to rethink a few things, and I can can see both sides of the coin. Both sides bring up very good points. I haven't posted what my thoughts are because I have enjoyed sitting back and learning from the information posted here. Even though it is "she said he said stories" or "stories from lawyers and trainers"....they still cause thinking to be done. Carrying a firearm daily is a big decision, and this thread may cause people to put a little more thought into why they have made that choice, and where to draw the line in the sand. Yours is at obeying the law, and others is at defense no matter the laws. Any who....I can see both sides clearly and would not call either side right or wrong. I just really chimed in to say, I have really enjoyed this thread.
  13. That is funny. Man there sure are some smart folks in this world.
  14. At least you were packing. Just think how uneasy you would have been if you had left your gun at home that day. I have ran out of the house before and forgot my carry gun. It is a weird feeling being somewhere, and noticing something just isn't right, and reaching back just to make sure you gun in in the proper position, and feeling no gun! I now make sure I have it.....I also keep one in the truck.
  15. You got that right!
  16. The Raliegh Springs mall here is getting just as bad as the Mall of Murder and Hickory Hood malls were before their destruction. Man tore down the Mall of Memphis, but God tore down the Hickory Hill Mall (tornado). My wife does not go into the Raliegh Springs Mall anymore, and she carries!
  17. Doc Martins are my favorite.
  18. I sure wished I had wrote down all the names of the fine upstanding fellows that I sold all my firearms to...that way I will be able to point the "gun grabbers" in the right direction when they come knocking on my door. I definitely want to do all I can to help in the "War of Legally Owned Firearms".
  19. wished you could have snapped a picture
  20. I have shot the 9mm cartridge in my P89, and it functioned flawlessly. That is all I have to offer.
  21. Oh My God...............You caught Mighty Mouse!!!!!!!
  22. Thanks jspin for the kind words and welcome aboard. Me: working today and tomorrow, took a Vacation day on Wednesday, off thursday and Friday back at it next Monday-Wednesday, off for my birthday (NewYears Day) and then work Friday.
  23. It time for change, bro. Our neighbors are ass hats, and they come over to our property every time we pull up and want to know what we are doing. So what I am saying comes from a hostile mind.....but nevertheless, I would not take a liking to someone directing my actions on my own property. It is almost like correcting me on how I raise my family. (well mayber not, but in my mind it is). ok...I am ready for driving directions.......
