  1. He did confirm these two facts: Chuck Norris recently had the idea to sell his urine as a canned beverage. We know this beverage as Red Bull. While urinating, Chuck Norris is easily capable of welding titanium. (I wished we had a Chuck Norris Smiley) Wait. Chuck Norris does not smile for any forum nut, he only smiles when sea monkies sing his praises. Dang, guess I just got told.
  2. I am mad. That film didn't even mention me.
  3. This is Bad. This is real Bad.
  4. I thought the same thing. So the only thing I thought I could add was pictures.
  5. Prepare for the ancient and time honored tradition, of packing heat and going to Wal-Mart. Congrats.
  6. My 1000th post, and I believe it is my finest work yet, LOL
  7. Above Post is a joke......please do not take it serious. LOL Clock vs CD. I carry a Clock, but I would be happy to carry an CD also. It is just like peanut butter, one is crunchy and the other is smooth.
  8. What was the question again? Ant Who, here are my suggestions. Hipoint: Jimenez Raven: Bryco/Jennings:
  9. I have been considering taking the class also.
  10. 1. Yes 2. If it functions properly, then yes carry it. Always carry a gun you have shot enough rounds through to feel comfortable with its reliability. 3. Carry it, don't worry about printing. 9 out of 10 people have no idea what a gun looks like printing, and if someones happens to ask, "What is that bulging out on your side", the answer "My Colostomy Bag" usually does the trick. 4. According to the Commercial Appeal, you should have absolutely no problem. Seriously though, I don't think you should have a problem, but I am not the go to guy for this info.
  11. My problem with them is not the article, but the link to the database right under the article. That is the abomination.
  12. yeh some of those are High-Larry-Us
  13. Sounds good. You can never go wrong with black. David, I have a guy fixing to start making some black shirts with one color silk screen for an outstanding price. He is Located in Decaturville, TN. PM me if you are interested and I will give you his website and email address. I have only seen the hoodies he has done, not any of the tees, but I plan on ordering one for a sample within the next week.
  14. Definitely have a camera ready to snap some pictures. Or have a video camera on hand to catch live footage. A confrontation could end up in a bad situation in a hurry, so I would recommend keeping my distance and gathering evidence. Wow that was definitely hard to type, but it was the right thing to say.
  15. A Masonic brother of mine at the Lodge owns a store and was telling me about the increase last week. He made it sound like all tobacco products, which bums me out because I am just now getting into cigars and pipes. I have never smoked a cig. and never plan to. I can't stand the smell. But I do enjoy the occasional cigar or pipe. I am not addicted at all. I have smoked one cigar so far this year, and only half a pipe bowl. Just kind of a recreational type hobby I guess. Thank God I have never took up smoking cigs. Something like this would definitely make me consider quiting.
  16. I voted 3xl, cause I am wearing some 3x and some 4x shirts. But I am 20lbs lighter than I was at the beginning of the year, and i still have a lot more to go.........so I will be decreasing the size again soon.
  17. I have a model 11 that was given to me about 13 years ago. I squirrel hunted with it for a while, until I got tired of wagging around such a heavy gun around the woods. The recoil barrel makes the recoil pretty tough. I don't get it out much for that reason. When I got it the forearm was cracked and with me shooting the mess out of it, the forearm eventually shattered. I had a friend of a friend that was a gunsmith to make a new forearm for it. The finish doesn't match the stock, but oh well. Never had any real problems out of it. It didn't really like target loads a whole lot, but other than that, it was fine. I couldn't hit a skeet with it to save my life. LOL Here is my model 11
  18. I probably wouldn't even draw my weapon. I would just mention to the would be attacker, that I have been involved in many a kinky affairs and never once thought about introducing a knife. Great idea.
  19. That was high-larry-us
  20. A typical problem that is seen in the "internet forum" world, is people like to be critical in a thread, without ever answering the original question, and that is what sparked my response to yours and Justme's post. You were critical of a question without offering any alternatives. Go back and read the original post. The purpose was very well stated and did not indicate to me or (as far as I know) any other Mod that the OP was wanting to start "gunning down neighborhood pets". Plus she decided to post this in the HUNTING thread. Which shows to me a person who is seeking the best available advice from people who know what works best for taking down animals. Lets take a closer look at you lastest response: (your words are in red) Anyone who is telling her what to get to take out dogs is "telling her to blast away" . I give people suggestions on firearms for self defense a lot, and I know that they do not think that I am prompting them to go out on a shooting spree. I would think the same applies here. The thread should have been closed before it ever got started. Seriously, a thread on what gun is best for shooting dogs....your a moderator, yet you condone this. A lot of people would find it more horrendous that I partake in the sport of whitetail deer hunting than a person who is wanting to put down some wild dogs who are responsible for the death of livestock and pets...so there is no justification in closing this thread. Yes seriously a thread about asking hunters what firearm choice is best suitable for her animal harvest. It just so happens that the animals she is interested in removing from her property are wild dogs. You are correct I am a Moderator and I condone people seeking advice before they just randomly buy a firearm that could possibly turn out to be either “too-much of a gun” or “too-little of a gun” for the intended purposes. WOW...Im done with this thread. If you still want to discuss it, go to private messages. I really hate to see you depart from a thread without ever really contributing to it. As far as the private messages go on this subject, I have nothing that needs to be said in private. To the OP...I suggest you think about this a little more. Lots can be done to remove unwanted animals besides shooting them. That is exactly why I asked you to give some alternatives, and the only one you gave involved a gun, which brings us back to the original question at hand. You could make a mistake and accidentally hurt or kill someone else's dog. This is true, a mistake could possible happen. Here is my stance on the idea that mistakes “could” happen. I carry a Glock Model 30 .45acp loaded with 230 grain Remington Golden Sabers. In deciding what firearm to purchase for everyday carry; caliber, size of gun, and capacity were all a concern. It had to be concealed comfortably on my person, it had to have a capacity of at least 10 rounds, and I wanted the caliber with the slowest and biggest projectile that would fit into the other two categories. You see the reason behind the last qualification, is the “could” and “if” factor. “If” I had to use my sidearm in a self-defense scenario, I am responsible for that bullet when it leaves the barrel. The bullet “could” pass thru the target and still cause damage. In my way of thinking, selecting the slowest and largest projectile would aid in the lessening of damage caused by the post target bullet. (Bullets that pass through a mass, and are deformed tend to slow down, and the larger exit hole aids in my chances of survival) So “if” I ever have to use my sidearm, I am prepared to take full responsibility for whatever damages that maybe caused, but I am hopeful that my preparedness will work in my advantage. So in this particular case, the OP needs to diligent and prudent in ensuring the target before engaging on said target, and be prepared to face the consequences "if" a mistake is made. ******************************************** Unfortunately I have had to put down a dog that I believed had turned feral. Luckily I was hunting and had a shotgun with me. I did not just start blasting away. I made noise, tried to “shoosh” the growling dog away, did everything I could think of to do before I shouldered my 12 gauge. I allowed the growling dog to get within 20 or so feet from me before I took a shot directly to the face with a #4 shot Remington Nitro Magnum 12 gauge shell. I went and informed the people who lived around that area what happened, to ensure it wasn’t a pet, and was relieved when I learned that the description I gave matched a dog that had been seen carrying off chickens at one of the local houses. Ok now I am finished……I think
  21. Thanks man. I just bought that stock from cheaper than dirt for $39.99. It is nice, for what it is.
  22. Sorry it took so long. He tried what Astra said to do and told me it didn't work. We went Skeet shooting this past saturday and he brought it along so that I could take another look at it, and...................... Astra's suggestion worked like a charm. I am not sure what he was doing, but I had no problem. And we put a few rounds throught it afterwards. Thanks Everyone
  23. Does my Ruger 10/22 count?
  24. Please quote me on my blasting away stance.
  25. I think she needs a spanking. Proper discipline is in order. Send her my way. (As long as she is 18 or older......you can't hardly tell these days)
