  1. This was taken as a person who misses their military rifle (fully automatic rifle), and wished to purchases another firearm that will bring back the fond memories of that military rifle, but will require the owner to "make it into a great home defense (non-semi auto", and then ending with a wink. Taking a semi-auto and turning it into a single shot, would not "make it into a great home defense weapon", it would be taking a step back, so I think everyone here knew exactly what you were refering too. I would like to bring to your attention rules #5 & #6 on the "Code of Conduct" list for this forum. 5. Do not discuss illegal activities. Illegal activities should never be discussed here. This includes but is not limited to discussion of ways to circumvent laws or regulations (see Rule #6). Obviously a web community centered upon firearms ownership will have members from various local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies let alone be monitored by those same agencies. Don’t put them in a position to have to do something professionally about something stupid that you did or are going to do. We would greatly prefer that our members not engage in illegal activities in the first place, but if you have you should be smart and not blab about it on the Internet. 6. Observe all laws. Part of responsible firearms ownership is observing all local, State and Federal laws that pertain to firearms. All of our members are expected to do so when communicating on our forum or when conducting sales through our forum. For example, certain things should never be discussed. Things like how to convert a semi-automatic firearm to full-automatic, or how to build a bomb, how to circumvent proper transfer and registration of a firearm, etc. Likewise, all sales of firearms should be done in accordance with the Law. Out-of-state transfers must be coordinated through Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers on both the seller and buyer side of the transaction. If you are in doubt of what is legal in a given situation, always ask before you commit or post! The Code of Conduct can be found here: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/faq.php?faq=general#faq_general_conduct
  2. NO!!!!! Do not look directly into the LSU Tiger's eyes. He is full of evil. LOL Maryland will be another tough game. I bet Coach Cal, gave those boys a good talking to about taking stuff for granted.
  3. I agree. Aren't semantics are silly?
  4. The wording was "I don't see a military icon for service under your avatar. I might be wrong but what in the hell would you know about defending the Constitution." is out of line, due to the reasoning that military experience is not a prerequisite to having knowledge about defending the constitution. It is basically saying that all non military citizens, have no idea when the constitution is being upheld or trampled on, and that is not correct. People understand the Laws that the police enforce, that is in the same ballpark as this topic, not " I don't walk into the OR at work and tell them how to make incisions and I wouldn't want a Dr. coming in and telling me how to run my security operations." No one is walking out in front of a unit, and telling them how to do their jobs, and how that leep was made, I have no idea. The orders the unit was given was wrong, and that is the issue. However, I do agree that the young men sent into that town, do not need to be punished for following orders, but instead their superiors should be investigated. And I do believe I have the right to that opinion even though I have never been in the military, and I say a big Thank You to the men and women who put their lives on the line to ensure I keep that Freedom. You are correct, but his "ignorance" to the defending of the constitution is not "free to be called into question" based on his non-existent military record. The words were "I don't see a military icon for service under your avatar. I might be wrong but what in the hell would you know about defending the Constitution." not "I don't see a military icon for service under your avatar. I might be wrong but what in the hell would you know about military chain of command." Peace and Love, Peace and Love
  5. I do. When I give respect I expect the same in return.
  6. A person doesn't have to have served this country in the armed forces to know about defending the Constitution. It is the duty of every good citizen of the U.S.A. to know what is contained in the Constitution and be willing to stand up for the rights contained therein. No offense intended to any vet or current military personel, I just don't like someone thinking that I or anyone, that has not served in the military, doesn't not have a right to an opinion on matters concerning the defense of what this country is founded on. An American is an American is an American. It takes all of us to make this complete. Super citizens are not created based on what profession we each decide to take up. We rely on each other to make this country great.
  7. The amount of work that I haven't done, due to me watching the tourney, is unreal. I posted it, not as a demerit againist him, but as something I thought other people might find intersting. I m all into the bracket pool here at work. I keep the money and keep score, I love March Madness. Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Crazy huh? He set a school record for the highest number of points scored in a NCAA Tourney. His average points per game was 4.5 for the season. It was weird watching a number 15 seed stay close and lead for the majority of the game, but as always, it is the score at the end that matters. Thanks God.
  9. He just got up twice and addressed two different bill sponsors, and made snide remarks about it being their first piece of legislation to bring to the floor, and hopefully their last.
  10. Upon further review, it appears as if the pancake has a mouth, and is not in fact two pancakes. This could explain the pancake refering to itself in the singular form. The gender of the bunny....now there is a good question.
  11. I tend to agree that the number of pancakes is odd in regards to the statement....unless if the statement is made from the bunny, then one can consider that a rabbit (even though he can speak) sucks at math.
  12. Your right I aint a whiner. I did however write numerous letters to every person elected to represent "my best interests", voiceing my concern and urged them to take the proper steps needed to ensure this would never happen again on United States soil.
  13. Load up your long guns!
  14. Rep. Ben West is a smart A$$
  15. But it is an office pool, and everyone is doing it, and it is for the children, and it is for hope we can believe in.
  16. I have these channels, and never watch them. Heck I don't watch much tv anymore, but I think I will set my DVR to record these shows you all have mentioned. Thanks

  18. Thanks Patrick! This could give a whole new meaning to: Get Off My Lawn!
  19. Kinda the way I took it too. Maybe Patrick can enlinghten us.
