  1. The Location in Memphis, at the shopping center at the corner of Highland and Poplar has the below sign posted. I carried anyways. I figured that anyone smart enough to own/operate a restaurant would definitely be smart enough to understand how to properly post their establishment against the carrying of firearms. And that they just put up the signs to make the soccer moms feel warm and fuzzy and yet still allow me to carry legally into their establishment. Keep concealed and order the new Desert Heat. It is awesome on a boneless wings.

  3. When I was 14, my Dad and I were hunting on some leased land in McNairy County, and we saw a large cat, solid black, with a long tail, running through a hollow (holler) we were hunting. It stopped at a small creek and flat foot jumped over it like it was nothing. We were shocked. I didn't know we had cats like that in this part of TN. Everyone we tell doesn't believe us, and that is fine, they don't have too.

  15. The show last night was another odd one.
  16. I know what you mean. We have had people just show up wanting go fill out an application, we let them, but the problem is they are not experienced in any aspect of the construction field. I hope this will help someone out on here. Us woodworkers have to stick together. Although I haven't worked in the shop since 2002, I can still build them.
  17. OC vs CC I carry concealed, because of the surprise factor. However I had seen a shady individual in a parking lot before and pulled my shirt behind my gun, and he changed direction. However I have also seen another shady charcter in a parking lot and remained concealed due to keeping the element of surprise. First shady guy was a drunk bumb. Second shady guy was a thug. I used common sense, and what I figured to be best suited for the situation. I carry concealed only because I like to. and I am thankfully that I am not required to.
  18. I know man. You poped in my head first off, but then I remembered you don't live here.
  19. I was also thinking about that, along with either buying a pawn shop, pump and cut it down, or go buy a Walmart Maverick and cut it down. Just thinking outloud.
  20. Thanks Arko, Just thought it might help someone.
  21. I don’t know if anyone is interested or experienced and looking for work, but I thought I would let all TGO members know first. The Company I work for, SCS Architectural Caseworks, Inc., will be running an add in this coming up weekends paper looking to hire. We have been blessed during this hard economic time with plenty of work. Our shop employees have not been forced to work under 40 hours a week yet and things are still looking good for us. In fact the shop worked six days (48 hours last week), with the guys who actually worked Saturday receiving time and a half, and this has been the case throughout this year. We are looking for an Experienced cabinet maker (bench-man),Experienced Installer, or Experienced Cut-Out man, or possibly all three. We are seeking experienced workers because we need the help immediately and really cannot spare the time for training at the moment. The add that we are running in the paper will read: Cabinet Maker Local Millwork Co. looking for experienced Bench-man/Saw Operator/Installer. Mail resume to 301 W. Olive Ave. Memphis, TN. 38106 Or Fax Resume to: 901-948-0411 If you are interested or know someone who might be pass this info on. I can not “pull any strings”, or even vouch for anyone (unless I have personally meet you and can vouch for your character). I just know some of the boards members have lost their jobs during these times, and wanted you guys to know of this opportunity.
  22. I would love too. I started losing weight in January this year, and lost 38lbs. by May...but I too have become lazy again, and I know I have put a few more pounds back on. I haven't even weighed myself again since May.
