Well I am going to make every effort to be in my tree stand in the morning. Since the wife is wanting to go to Nashville this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, tomorrow morning will be the only opportunity I will have to hunt this week, so I am taking it. The price for the one by the airport is cheaper than all tyhe others. That is what made me question it. Through Expedia it is $61 a night

The Wife, the kid, and I are planning on coming up to Nashville this Friday and stay until Sunday. Last time we came up, we stayed at the Doubletree on Atrium Way, near the Airport , (thanks for the hook-up Charles). We liked the area, as it was close to everything we wanted to do, and were going to stay there again, but before booking with them again, I did a little searching. 2.8 miles down the road is Country Inn and Suites at 590 Donelson Pike. Looks nice from the pictures, and is $26 cheaper a night, so my question is.......being that much closer to the airport will the planes be disturbing us during the night? When we stayed at the Doubletree we don't remember hearing one plane. Have any of you Nashville guys heard horror stories about the Country Inn on Donelson Pike?

Well this stinks. Opening day of Gun season and I am at home sick. So I am dying to hear how everyone did and see yall's pictures.

I don't do tomatoes. yuck I forgot to tell where I got it. There is a place on Riverside Drive in Downtown Memphis called "Riverside Café". Who woulda thunk, right?....but don't go looking for a sign, cause it is inside of a BP gas station right before Riverside Dr. turns into I55. They have the absolute best bacon I have ever eaten.

This is truly a Gift from God.

They should have asked to speak to the manager, explained the situation to said manager, and proceed from there. More than likely the manager would have taken the tip off or given them the meal for free, just to save face.
