  1. My Sister inlaw posted this video on her Facebook page. I am not sure who recorded it. Steam Mill Ferry Road Bridge Collapse
  2. I always enjoyed reading his posts. We even bumped heads a few times on different issues, but hey that's what is great about this place. RIP MARS
  3. This is crazy. My Sister inlaw went to Jackson, TN. yesterday and has told us some horror stories from up there today.
  4. 9:43pm and the sirens just started going off again. Another storm cell is heading directly toward the Memphis Area. Should be in my area in about 30 - 40 minutes. I haven't ever heard this many sirens in one day.
  5. Looks great, and seems like it preformed well also. Congrats on the new purchase!!!
  6. Yeah thats the one. That is a lot of water moving fast. I can't believe it is on my Mom's road.
  7. stupid double post.
  8. The fire truck that is flipped on it's side is on the road my Mom lives on. She said it is nasty out there.
  9. Not to bad here in the Nutbush / Berclair area of memphis. Stupid sirens all day. They finally just stopped. Still raining, and thundering.
  10. Grew up listening to my Mom's country music all the time. My Dad and her had records from when the we teenagers with a good bite of Motown mixed in. We listened to a lot of Southern Gospel music. Rock was the Devil's music. My Dad listened to FM100 a lot and that is what introduced me to different music. First CD I ever bought was "Hell Freezes Over" the Eagles. A friend let me borrow a Guns and Roses album (the one that had "Welcome to the Jungle" on it). All that was good until I hit the 8th grade. A friend in the 8th grade made me copies of all of Pantera's albums on cassette tape, and that change my world. I became a Metal Head. Started listening to Rob Zombie, Metallica, Slayer, Type-O-Negative....started mixing in some punk , Dead Kennedys and NOFX. As I went through high school I started appreciating 60's and 70's Rock more, with love affairs with ZZ top, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Petty, etc... When I started playing guitar everything changed. I met a fella that introduced me to the Chet Atkins' style of guitar playing. I fell in love with his music, his arrangements, his style everything. I have attended the CAAS (Chat Atkins Appreciation Society) Convention in Nashville many times. I learned his style and can play a few songs in it. Chester Burton Atkins is what changed my musical mind. My ipod has a very well mixed up genres of music on it. I will go from Southern Gospel to Heavy Metal, from Percy Sledge to Jackyl, from Bluegrass to Prince. I appreciate Musicians. I have just recently learned to play: Clapton's "Tears in Heaven" & Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah" Love me some music. I am currently listening to Sirius station Pops "Traditional Classical Music" while I am sitting here working.
  11. I have bought one pistol from them and I reminded the fella that sold it to me that there was no taxes. All they have done is include the taxes in the "sticker price" so if you pay cash or debit you only have to fork over another $10 for the background check. Now if you don't remind the sells person and they don't mention it you get charged double tax and the store makes that much more on the firearm. I am glad they are taking care of you Saintsfan. Chance is good people.
  12. It sure is nice on top!
  13. That is awesome!!!!!one!!!!!!!1111!!!!!eleven!!!!1
  14. That was awesome. When you got to go, you got to go.
  15. Man that sounds fun. Hope you enjoy it!
  16. A big +1. I am enjoying your updates
  17. Yeah I aint in for tent camping in the heat of the summer. If you didn't notice, I have a condition also.....I'm FAT. LOL and fat boys don't do good in the heat.
  18. I feel like RUSA was very accommodating to us TGO guys that showed up their Saturday. Giving us a classroom to assemble in before we went out on the range, and even letting us move to the a larger classroom when it became available. The staff there did not have to do that for us. A very big to them. I also wished we had a good place to shoot outdoors. I love busting some clays, and would enjoy a place to zero in my deer rifle, and practice all around rifle shooting. I shoot clays at my uncle's place in North Shelby county with a couple friends, but I have maxed out the number of people that can come with me. I understand, it is his home and he doesn't want a lot of people out there that he doesn't know. Here is a thought. How about a TGO Camp-Out. Just a weekend type thing at Natchez Trace State Park. They have an outdoor range, and the wife and I love camping.
  19. Bit-O-Honey This is a close second, Long Boys
  20. That is pretty f'ing sweet. Makes me wish I would have bought the wife a FJ instead of the GMC Envoy.
  21. I like, "Don't over engineer it, don't IBM it, don't MIT it". It goes along with my other line of thinking: K.I.S.S. = Keep It Simple Stupid
  22. I hope this isn't a repost. I couldn't find it in the search. I thought this video fit the best in the handgun forum since it deals with clearing handgun malfunctions.
  23. Corn Nuts are good.
  24. Yes sir, I was wearing a black shirt with my Lodges logo on the front left chest. I was happy to see the children out there. My wife and I talked about how we can't wait until our little girl is old enough to go shooting with us.
