We have always had a gas stove and oven, and we loved it. When we would go to my mom's house and my wife would help cook on her electric stove she would always leave saying how much she liked the gas stove better cause she could control the heat better. Well now that we moved, the new house has an electric and we are still learning. Good point about the smoke alarms. Yesterday the house filled up with smoke and not an alarm one was sounded. I will check that when I go home tonight. Thanks

We thought is was going too. I am not sure what happened, but I was at the kitchen table doing some work that I brought home to do and looked over and saw the flames. She is still getting adjusted to cooking on an electric stove. Something on the bottom of the skillet caught on fire, we think. All I know was there wasn't enough bacon to go around. After my 4 year old ate her two pieces she said "Mommy, I want some more bacon", I looked at her and said "Sweetheart, we all do."

May God have mercy on my poor wife's soul. She burnt a good bit of bacon this morning while cooking breakfast.

Well I think Sandra is pretty, not beautiful, but definitely doable. Now Julia, I am not a fan of, but I would not kick her out of bed, well only to go fix me a sandwich.

I will add these to my wish list as well.

I say "Get me a drank" or "Get me a coke". Calling it a soda or a pop around here will get you a funny look. I say "dawg", and "yall", and I would never think of saying "here is my phone number give me a jingle". I saw "here's my number, give me a hollar." I like the way eastern Tennessee folk say "you-ins", as in "You-ins ain't going to believe this."

I had someone tell me they had a "Glock 9". When said person showed it to me it was a Ruger P89 9mm. I said "This isn't a Glock, this is a Ruger." His reply to me was "Glock makes the 9, right?"

Weed-eated the front yard, cleaned out bird bath, refilled bird bath, went shopping, moved two truck loads of "crap" from our old house to the new house, went to subway, ate 6" sub, took the spare off the wife's truck and put the newly plugged tire back on, returned spare to underneath the truck spot, changed front head light in wife's truck, unloaded said two truck loads of crap,took a shower, ate dinner, put together two bookcases, and now I am relaxing and poking around on the internetz. Full Day today.

Now that I moved, I need to change my voting info. I am fixing to go look up who my rep is now. Found out my info I am now in Marsha territority! So all you folks in the 9th district must show up and vote to be sure and keep King Willie out.

Very nice indeed. When it cools off we need to hook up on my place and you show me how that thing works.

Wow. I just looked on Google Maps and my new place is 6.9 miles from Herb Parsons Lake. That is cool.

We actually lived in the "decent part". My wife told people we lived in the Berclair area, and I would always tell her to quit lying. Berclair is about 5 or so blocks from my house and the bad part of Nutbush is about 5 or so blocks in the other direction. I live between Wells Station and Graham. West of Graham was where it got nasty.

I have been a gun owner my whole life. LOL
