  1. That is a great story. I am an registered organ donor, and I try to educate people whenever I can. It is strange to me how much "religious" push back I get. I told a person just yesterday that if my organs can give life back to a mother, father, child, brother, sister then I don't care where I spend eternity. A good friend of mine (and masonic brother) was critically injured in a motorcycle wreck a couple days ago (the family took him off life support Tuesday night) and he was an organ donor. Knowing that the loss of his life will give others a chance is really helping the family grieve. He was only 26. Thanks for sharing your brothers story with us.
  2. You got to love the Little Rascals.
  3. Me either. I call Shenanigans!!!!!
  4. Yeah I hear they are looking for coaches to volunteer and I wouldn't mind but it would the same as me trying to tell how to pilot a plane. I understand the jest of it, just don't know what in the heck is going on. I have told that is is fun to watch them at that age play. I am excited and she can not stop talking about it. Mustangdave, I have seen "Green Street Hooligans" and I might just have to start up a gang. lol
  5. Well the wife and I signed up my little girl (4 years old) for soccer Monday at the Bert Ferguson Community Center out in Cordova. This should be interesting. I have only a very rude and basic understanding of soccer, so I guess it is time for me to learn about the sport the rest of the world calls football, or futbal.
  6. I agree with Whiskey, It should be law that everyone own a .22lr. It is a great squirrel round and can handle other game with good shot placement, which can be perfected by practicing whenever you want without worrying about breaking the bank. Also in case of a SHTF scenario, .22 ammo is not an exotic round, and shouldn't be hard to come by. I have squirrel hunted with a .22mag before and it did well, and I would feel comfortable using it on larger game.
  7. If I read the wording correctly then a yes vote is in order.

  22. It is not necessarily "doing what we please", it is more about keeping up an image for a gun community that gets a lot of bad light aimed toward it. I would hope everyone, young or old, would agree with keeping this place clean.
  23. I have been practicing for 12 years. I enjoy it. I use to play in church. Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do.
