  1.   The problem with this "solid answer" is that it is still grey. What if you wake up in the morning, drink one beer because you are that guy, at what point are you able to carry again? A few hours? That afternoon? The next day automagically? What about cough syrup?   5 shots of vodka would leave you with impaired judgement a lot longer than the lightest of beers. It is a very vague area unfortunately.   Ultimately, I feel it falls into the worse area possible: Common sense. Have one beer at home and then an hour or two later go to town carrying your gun? I like to think you wouldn't be prosecuted for anything. Several hard shots and then try open carrying through the mall? That would and should be consequential.
  2. So, had been looking forward for the past few weeks to photographing fireworks. I had never tried that before. It really isn't that hard, but I wasn't really satisfied with the results. I wasn't able to get a good scenic location, was too close (because ultimately did not know exactly where to expect them). Though, there are a few towards the end that I consider keepers. Here are all 37 I took. Really would like another "chance", perhaps in Chattanooga or someplace similar, in which the fireworks are shot out over water or something like that. Was rushed the entire time, didn't quite get to setup as I had hoped. I learned very quickly that with too long of exposures the firework would "blur". The "crisp" ones were much shorter at a slightly larger aperture. Used: Canon 6D and 50mm STM

  8. Happy to say that I feel my left eye has nearly fully recovered. I think it was dry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Very occasionally every few months for a year or so. Then quite a bit last week. Really do think that magnified any issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Also, I feel like Oh Shoot's diagnosis was more accurate than the first three doctors. Yesterday the 4th doctor practically all but diagnosed me as having dry eyes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. So. I saw 4 doctors in 7 days. Does that count? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Hahaha. "Hey, can you hold this whole I weight? Or just subtract 2.4 pounds because that's what it is loaded. " Most doctors wouldn't know how or what to think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Well. Probably more of a statistical chance than if you have an anti-gun sticker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Honestly I would be more worried about someone seeing a "gun sticker" on my vehicle and trying to steal anything valuable inside the vehicle than I would be worried about stealing the "gun sticker" itself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Well, just got back from another optomotrist. I give that office much more confidence than the other three places I have been combined. She thinks I experience the gritty feeling in the morning because my left eye is dry. At night the dry eye sticks to the eyelid. In the morning your eyelid is seentially ripped from your cornea in a way.   The allergy drops all along may have caused the issue, but she thinks my left eye may just have lesser vision altogether and I haven't noticed it until now.   How often do each of you close and open each eye testing each individual eye strength?   Consensus was the I shall use lubricating dros at least three times a day for a week or so. She thinks all of my symptoms will probably dissapear and I will be happy with my vision at that point.   Come to think of it, my new task at work involves riding in a vehicle all day. Me sitting in that vehicle with the A/C blasting towards my face, using allergy drops that are drying, washing my eye out with saline solution, it's a wonder that I can even see at all.   Saline solution like I posted above is ok for flushing but not good for long term use, as stated by many above. She gave me some lubricating drop samples as well as some cream samples that I can put in my eyes before I sleep each night. Hopefully that will take care of the gritty feeling in the morning. Right now the lubricating drops makes the gritty feeling dissappear.   Feeling pretty optimistic right now about everything. Honestly I do feel like vision is slightly improved from yesterday in my left eye.   She seemed to think 20/20 in my right eye and 20/30 in my left eye. I will tell you, it's a very blury 20/30 though.   Told her I would follow up with her in a few weeks if I need to. She seemed to think keeping them lubricated was all that was needed for now.   She said that there are signs that they would have seen had it been diabities or blood pressure related. That is comforting as long as you assume they would have noticed them.

  21. Oh I know. I have honestly been super depressed since Wednesday over this. Just the fact that the doctor said I would probably need glass in 20 years (I am 24 now) got me down. Couple that with whatever this is and I'm a downer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. And I fail to see how I am screwing around! Went to see an optometrist and two M.D.'s. Tried to see an ophthalmologist today but was told I cannot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Well I am probably going to try and go to one next week. I called all I could find locally and all are booked into next week until July. I purchased some actual lubricating drops and they are making my eyes feel better than they have for a while. Seeing as how I have to wait at least a week for an ophthalmologist I am trying everything I can until then. Probably call tomorrow to setup an appointment as soon as possible.
