Once you get used to OS X, while it does have it's learning curves, it is nearly impossible to get away from it.

They probably wouldn't. That being said, it only works with the iPad Pro, which is targeting graphic designers and the like.

If you have lots of iTunes content, use Netflix, Hulu, etc, like a small bombproof set top box, then the Apple TV is for you. The new one has an App Store, so in the coming months you will see all sorts of things flood to the device, really opening it up.

http://9to5mac.com/2015/09/05/iphone-6s-3d-touch-screen/ I do not know anything about what you speak of. A comment on that thread suggests Apple patented the idea in 2008. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

3D Touch has nothing to do with "Air Gestures". The good thing about using Touch ID is that it is optional. If you are a high security operator, then you can not use it and instead setup a more secure hexadecimal password if you chose. I'll be out of this conversation for a bit...I'm hitting the install button on the OS X El Capitan GM:)

I wondered about one of the Microsoft reps. I am pretty sure he was wearing an Apple Watch. I wonder what happened behind the scenes there... Kirk Konigsbauer

Show me any phone on the market that has technology or programming behind it that is similar to "3D Touch". Or...Touch ID at that. Apple innovates... Sure, they do take good ideas from other manufacturers and Google/Microsoft, but they also innovate and what they are really, really good at is creating a near seamless ecosystem.

Really? It's the Apple Pencil that discourages you? http://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/accessories/surface-pen Microsoft sells a similiar stylus for $50. However, the Apple version has integrated charging circuitry and obviously a rechargeable battery. I believe that the Apple Pencil also has more sensors inside than the Surface Pro 3 Pen. Personally, I'll be picking up the new Apple TV 4. With all of this being said, keep in mind that I am on my 2015 rMBP, with my iPhone 6 nearby, while my Wife and myself are watching a movie on the Apple TV Gen 3. I might be biased. I will agree that they should have at minimum 32 GB storage for everything, arguably 64 GB for most products.

I know I know...not helpful.

Well we already have one! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/forum/7-handguns/ Seeing as how they don't make any other handguns anymore and I haven' seen anyone in ages own anything but a Glock...the handguns sub-forum is the Glock sub-forum! http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=411545884/used+Glock+17+Gen+1

Do you think you could do the same thing to mi... AH NEVERMIND.

I posted a thread in the WTB: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/90569-wtb-canon-430-ex-ii-or-similiar-for-decent/?p=1302878 Looking for another optical slave Canon Speedlite or similiar (or Yongnuo master and slave setup possibly).

For what it's worth, B&H Photo has a Manfrotto bag on sale today for $19.99. It is usually $49.99-$59.99. I bought one. Review once I get it, but it works out great for me since I was in the market for a more compact shoulder bag vs the backpack I've been sporting. I figure even if I hate the bag, I can at least get my money back easily if not a few bucks more. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/dealZone.jsp

Crossfire...I think that is what work gets us. The Valors made by Wilex-X that I posted I like 10x more than anything I have ever seen from Crossfire. But they only cost 2-3 as much apparently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well that's a loaded question if there is one. You saying I have a big head??? I'd say that I have either a medium to large head. They fit fine. Try them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wow. That is unbelievable. Without a lot of details, can you at least disclose why? Was the member mad at you specifically, just a sick person, seeking revenge, thought it was funny, anti-gun and trying to "right a wrong", etc? If you cannot or will not say anything else, that's understandable but wow.

http://amzn.to/1hyyoPm These are the ones I bought. Like I said, I had the Oakley Whiskers Polarized. They were nice. If you want the Oakley name, then you won't be satisfied unless you get Oakley's. Myself, I was hoping to find something comparable quality but cheaper without expensive "O-A-K-L-E-Y" lettering on the side; I think Wiley-X is exactly what I was looking for. I have had this pair for probably 3-4 months now. I don't have a single complaint. They come with a nice semi-rigid case and the strap for wearing around your neck. If you get the one with the polarized lenses (which I highly recommended), they only come with one set of lenses. That being said, you can either order the set of 3 additional lenses or if you order the following you get the three lenses (but without polarization). http://amzn.to/1EBpFqB I would and probably will make the purchase again someday for Wiley-X. They are great. If I was to lose them I"d replace them, but I'm thinking I might get some just to have an extra pair.

I owned some polarized Oakley Whiskers. Or was it Whisper? I now own Wiley-X. Love them. Love them love them love them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New super light holster, more dangerous than the Serpa. The handgun sling
GlockSpock replied to Spots's topic in Handguns
Wow. I like watching funny videos before going to bed. That takes the cake tonight. Seriously, the dumbest, most dangerous, idiotic, stupidest, horrible firearm accessory ever devised. Maybe one of you will buy Voldemort one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
First time for Appendix Carry - Is it safe?
GlockSpock replied to Bassoneer's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I gave it a thought...(with an unloaded gun)...I decided against it. Personally, even if I was confident that I would never holster/unholster the weapon from that position, the mere fact it is basically pointing at your femoral artery when sitting down was a big enough reason to make me decide never. Lots of people carry this way, but it isn't for me. It was unnerving even with an unloaded gun. I would not be able to be mentally comfortable knowing that I had a loaded gun pointed at my groin/artery. -
Never mind. I cannot read.

It shot nice. I sold it because it didn't feel enough like a Glock to save $100 or so bucks. Guess I decided that to me it was worth selling and "upgrading". The Shield is nice for what it is...a quite small 9mm. Also, I literally shot probably 5 mags through it. It is basically brand new. Maybe it will loosen up after a while. Well...they watch you over cameras but the cameras have no sound. Thus they have given you a two-way radio. You can request up to 3 clues/hints and them not count against your "total time" for beating the best time. If you don't care about beating the best time or if you have already passed the best time, you can request as many as you want. We probably did 4 hints.
