  2.   In that case I might just do that...wait up until just before it expires and go to the DMV.
  3. As a serious note, my understanding is that as long as you get the application to them before it expires you are good, right? It says allow 3 months for processing. Mine expires 1/19. If I mail it off 1/4 think I will run into any legal issues carrying? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Of course!! I mean if you want to pay my renewal fee as a thank you... Haha no problem at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If possible, match whatever deals you have to SWFA.com. They have a 110% price match guarantee. I have used them quite a bit for this reason alone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. EDIT: Clicking allows you to view it larger. Might I ask what thread this came up in?
  7. I have my renewal right now. I will try to scan it and upload tomorrow. Message or quote me tomorrow to remind me and I'll do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8.   I would still suggest a Glock 19 Gen 4 over a Glock 26 though because the Glock 19 has a rail. To me that's important. But it is very nice to be able to "step up" on mag size and keep compatibility.
  9. Get a 19. You can use Glock 17 mags in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Well...I know what I'm getting for my Secret Santa person!   http://amzn.to/1N7pyon
  11. I really have never much looked into it, but I always sorta assumed that the problem on dry firing some firearms was the damage it would cause to the firing pin, not any part of the slide or breech, with .22lr being the exception here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. http://www.glockforum.com/Should-You-Dry-Fire-a-Glock.html I just don't know if I even slightly believe this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Wow I certainly don't doubt that you really, really mean that:) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I mean, there is always this...   http://tinyurl.com/pjvux79   Lots of good advice for if you want to be more careful.
  15. I worry about this as well. Unfortunately that I feel is just an inherent risk. Anywhere an active shooter may be, if you pull your gun to shoot the active shooter, there is always a chance that LEO or someone else with a HCP pops around the corner, goes "Hey look, the active shooter!" and blasts you without second thought. Just a risk you have to take. There have unfortunately been examples to take place detailing mostly what you have described. I think it would be a good practice to hide your firearm away directly after a shooting of any kind. When the cops show up I would also make sure to have my hands very high above my head non threateningly as well. No sudden movements or semi threatening words like "I have a gun" or "I just shot this guy" even if you mean it with good intentions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16.   Off the subject, but what hasn't been off the subject in this thread, but this is literally great.
  17. Ironic that at 15:22 in Steelharp's video it shows the same KGB clip that Shepherd Master had posted...
  18. So...still God the Creator blessing Eve with a son. Right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Early apologizing to the mods if this is considered inappropriate, but ultimately earlier today I found an older post on TGO by which he posted an image. I was able to use Google to reverse image search that image to see where else it had been posted. It was by that method I discovered he was able to post 25,214 posts to the forum "AKFILES" under the name lsmurphy.   https://www.google.com/#q=lsmurphy+akfiles&filter=0   I did a bunch of background reading into his insight. How he made it 25,000 posts I do not know. He's been doing this for years. I wouldn't claim him as a troll, just very dedicated. Some of what he posted was factually correct I believe, but that's the issue with people whom are wrong; Sometimes they hide a little bit of misguiding in with a lot of fact and in the end you are mislead.   In conclusion, I will certainly be researching and studying a lot of what he had to say to makeup my own mind, but in my opinion his fruit (such as suggesting real men go gun down busses of Syrians) doesn't seem to align with Jesus asking us to love our neighbor. Of course he would have probably responded by saying that these Syrians are sons of Satan and are not our neighbor.   I guess the parable of the Good Samaritan didn't mean much to him.
  20.   I seem to think he was a "follower of Christ" that doesn't claim the Christian name because he feels all the people that claim Christianity are not right with God, the same for Islam and Judaism. Although, based upon conversation, he was very influenced by certain beliefs.   Now, something that piqued my interest was that he asked me this:     So I decided to check that out. Now, I don't see what he was seeing but it seems to me that the word "Lord" that is used in this part is indeed God/Creator (Yah-weh). That was the one thing I wanted to see his response to, because I ultimately was curious what literature he used to "study apart from the christian POV. ".   http://biblehub.com/interlinear/genesis/4.htm
  21. Also, I would really, really, really like to hear your thoughts on Satan and Eve getting it on. Assuming that the bible is your source, how do you get that from this?   4 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. 2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.   Adam knew Eve, they bore Cain. A+B (E really in this case) = C   Edit: Also, assuming that you take Cain killing Abel to happen after the fall, by that time the serpent was slithering around on his belly, her and her offspring bruising the serpent and his offspring's head.
