Yes, this exactly. https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/wiki/nosleep Now, there does seem to be that author linked to previously that has written several books documenting lost people in the woods.

I take it this is what you are talking about? Not that they are as cheap but I found it interesting to note that they now have a "Lifestraw Steel".

I've always liked the idea of a Kel-Tec that takes Glock 9mm Mags. I have no idea if they are worth what they go for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Const. Carry Bill brought up today
GlockSpock replied to CommsNBombs's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think it should be recognized as a right but doubt to see that anytime soon. It is upheld that certain actions can take rights away from criminals, so this wouldn't allow criminals to run around with guns, just like criminals don't have the rights to purchase a gun legally now. Optimistically, I would love to see constitutional carry but doubt we'll see it in TN anytime soon. Overall I submit to the idea of paying for privileges/rights and do just that so I can drive and carry legally in TN. The biggest issue I have with the current HCP setup in Tennessee is the time and monetary burdens that it imposes. I don't think we should be so restrictive so that someone who feels they are in immediate harm cannot carry a handgun for their issue. A woman feels threatened by her new ex-boyfriend? As long as she coughs up ~$60 for a class and then $115 for the application fee and then waits 3-6 weeks, she can carry legally! If constitutional carry were passed in Tennessee, I think a voluntary permit system should still stay in place so that reciprocity can still be established in cooperating states. It would be a form of income for the state and anyone interested enough in carrying while traveling would likely be happy to do so. What constitutional carry would do is allow people in their own state be armed while out and about. On the flipside, ultimately the "safety course" doesn't really go that far in actually helping people. I doubt many people leave that class being much more intelligent or safer than before they attended. Also, there are many people who have taken the HCP Safety Course and I still would not want to be around them at the range .Some people are careless and think they know better and nothing will prevent them from exercising Darwinism. For opponents of this bill, I think it would be worth noting states that have allowed constitutional carry. They have not turned into the bloodbaths like we are told they would, just like TN hasn't turned into a bloodbath over the vehicle carry issue recently. -
I would guess this is more about trying to prevent people showing up thinking this is their time to swear in as emergency deputy with an AR strung on their back. Maybe I'm wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe he got caught up in all the TV shows he has to watch now and didn't want TGO to compete for his time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was going to join this thread to recommend the Raven Concealment Phantom (I personally have the Phantom LC with an X300 Ultra (Surefire). With that being said, do you have any comparison to this and the Eidolon? Why do you like the Eidolon so much?

What about the comments about it being a dangerous weapon and how many of them are on the street? That seemed out of place to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

YouTube includes ads in videos. The people with millions of views and hundreds of videos probably make more than the majority of people on TGO. http://www.tvguide.com/galleries/youtube-stars-make-more-1089689/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pending Gun EO Chatter, Update See Post #114
GlockSpock replied to runco's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I was mainly just looking at the irony of using an FFL for every transaction but not holding one yourself. Illegal but meeting the spirit of the law, which would be guns out of bad people's hands and background check for each transaction. I was looking through a glass colored the tint of today, when realistically as you pointed out the regulations were set before background checks even existed. Makes sense. I would assume you are correct, but it just goes to show the level of ridiculousness of some of this. Obviously making every transaction through an FFL would "keep guns out of the right hands". Lets even say you filed taxes showing you made a profit and paid taxes on those profits to avoid tax evasion. So even though that would theoretically be "in the business", simply without an FFL, but meeting at your local FFL for every transaction, it is interesting to think about how that would be argued against. Just theoretical though of course. -

Sure it may have already been and will always be tax evasion, but would you need an FFL for that activity if you are going through an FFL to buy/sell for a form of income? -

Right. Was merely opening the theoretical question of supplement to your income but go through an FFL for every transaction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
