  1. Maybe somebody was on the toilet again and hung their carry piece on the little coat hanger piece on the stall door. Bump fire mania! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2.   At my workplace we watched a video, I think provided by either FBI or DHS. It was in regards to an active shooter even, and the three options were of course, run, hide, or fight. When going over the video the third option was basically ignored because of course who would actually try and fight an active shooter?
  3. According to their FaceBook page.   http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/26/us/san-diego-naval-medical-center-shooting/index.html
  4. Lookup the Raven Vanguard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Might have thought so but that's not what the Feds say. You could but from an FFL a long gun out of state but not a handgun. Personal transfers have to go to FFL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I've been meaning to do this for a while, I finally found time this weekend! I wanted to write an updated review to my favorite watch of all time, the GWM5610-1. I purchased this watch on September 30th, 2014. I've worn it practically everyday since. With the exception of where I suspected a brick wall took a very small gash out of the resin above the letter "T" in "PROTECTION" at the top, it basically looks brand new in my opinion. Now once have I ever looked at the watch and seen that the battery status has not been on "H" for High. Depending on where I leave it at night, it may or may not have the letters "RCVD", stating that it has received the atomic time signal the previous night. This morning it shows that it did. I've swam and showered while wearing this watch, so that's testament to its water durability. Its form factor is perfect, large enough to show everything neatly on the screen but small enough to not feel like you have Big Ben strapped to your arm. Weight? It is like it isn't there. Some people like heavy watches; The heavier the better. I like a light watch, one that I simply and completely forget I'm wearing until I need to check the time. By far without question this is my favorite watch that I have ever owned. If I lost or broke it I would replace it without question with an identical model. For under $100 you get solar, atomic timekeeping, and the general reassurance that you are daily paying tribute to classic 90's movies such as Speed. (The watch in the movie was the classic 5600, basically the 5610 is the same form factor but with updated internals.) Casio Men's GWM5610-1 for Under $100

  10. I bought my first whiskey the other day. I had tried some before but I bought a bottle of Jack Daniels Honey. I like it. Now, everyone can tell me that they shouldn't put honey in it and I should have bought something else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15.   Yes, this exactly.   https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep   https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/wiki/nosleep   Now, there does seem to be that author linked to previously that has written several books documenting lost people in the woods.

  17. Not that they are as cheap but I found it interesting to note that they now have a "Lifestraw Steel".
  18. I've always liked the idea of a Kel-Tec that takes Glock 9mm Mags. I have no idea if they are worth what they go for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I think it should be recognized as a right but doubt to see that anytime soon. It is upheld that certain actions can take rights away from criminals, so this wouldn't allow criminals to run around with guns, just like criminals don't have the rights to purchase a gun legally now. Optimistically, I would love to see constitutional carry but doubt we'll see it in TN anytime soon. Overall I submit to the idea of paying for privileges/rights and do just that so I can drive and carry legally in TN. The biggest issue I have with the current HCP setup in Tennessee is the time and monetary burdens that it imposes. I don't think we should be so restrictive so that someone who feels they are in immediate harm cannot carry a handgun for their issue. A woman feels threatened by her new ex-boyfriend? As long as she coughs up ~$60 for a class and then $115 for the application fee and then waits 3-6 weeks, she can carry legally! If constitutional carry were passed in Tennessee, I think a voluntary permit system should still stay in place so that reciprocity can still be established in cooperating states. It would be a form of income for the state and anyone interested enough in carrying while traveling would likely be happy to do so. What constitutional carry would do is allow people in their own state be armed while out and about. On the flipside, ultimately the "safety course" doesn't really go that far in actually helping people. I doubt many people leave that class being much more intelligent or safer than before they attended. Also, there are many people who have taken the HCP Safety Course and I still would not want to be around them at the range .Some people are careless and think they know better and nothing will prevent them from exercising Darwinism. For opponents of this bill, I think it would be worth noting states that have allowed constitutional carry. They have not turned into the bloodbaths like we are told they would, just like TN hasn't turned into a bloodbath over the vehicle carry issue recently.
  20. I would guess this is more about trying to prevent people showing up thinking this is their time to swear in as emergency deputy with an AR strung on their back. Maybe I'm wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Maybe he got caught up in all the TV shows he has to watch now and didn't want TGO to compete for his time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22.   I was going to join this thread to recommend the Raven Concealment Phantom (I personally have the Phantom LC with an X300 Ultra (Surefire). With that being said, do you have any comparison to this and the Eidolon? Why do you like the Eidolon so much?
  23. I would love to, cost likely bring the main con for me. What would cost be estimated? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
