  1. I have a Gerber 600 that works pretty great. I like the one-handed opening, it comes in handy sometimes. http://amzn.to/2pt8nFC Typically under $50, sometimes can be found for cheaper even.
  2. P.S. That's what the extra money is for, "Some for your troubles and some for my a shipping agent acting on my behalf". Also, if it isn't clear, nobody ever meets up with you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. He sends you fake check, you cash it, if the bank doesn't immediately catch it you think it's good, he then asks for $50 payment to the "FFL/Agent" in the form of Credit Card, Amazon Gift Card, Bank Account, Western Union, etc. Bank takes $600 back from you since it's fake, you sent actual money to him, he wins. Obviously it could get expensive for anyone providing CC or Bank Account information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Lifestraw: $12.50 on 4/7/2017 @ 12:48 EST: http://amzn.to/2ogY9KZ
  5. See, that's what I thought initially too, but the actual URL linked to from there seems to simply be the standard DOS address change, which seems to be exactly what I did earlier this week.
  6. Right, right, all good information, but specifically, if I updated my address for my drivers license, does anything more need to be updated for the permit or does it use the same change of address form that your license does?
  7. Most of these are decently irrelevant with a quality holster and belt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. These are cool in the sense that they help hide the fact of what's in them, but instruments get stolen too so not much help in that regard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So my Wife and I moved this weekend. I just updated my DL to the new address via TN's DMV website. I forget, does something need to be done for the permit as well?
  10. I'll be honest. I was very excited for a few minutes when I read this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. MP5 .40 would be better! J/K look at my name. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Honestly, the Keens are a smaller size than what I had been wearing. I think I was buying half a size too large for Merrels. Had my foot properly sized and these fit great! Point being, I'm not the best person to ask that to.
  14. Today, Amazon is discounting Merrells up to 40% off! http://amzn.to/2nLDrTh Merrell makes a great shoe, I used to get them with my work boot allowance up until my job position changed and I now have to get steel/composite toe. With all that being said, Merrell is the only brand of shoe that I've loved so much that I went the next year and purchased an exactly identical version of the shoe I purchased the year prior. I'm now sporting a pair of Keen's but would have never left Merrell had my shoe requirements not changed. Edit: Just a note that many of these prices seem very fair, I was accustomed to spending $100-$150 for the pair. The MOAB is probably what I would go for if I were shopping today.
  15. As a shameless plug, I'm trying to sell (or trade) some photography equipment in the classifieds here:
  16. It's very possible. The entirety of the actual NFA issue is the problem. It's absurd. But I imagine there are more out there that would see issue and alarm with what effectively is an SBR (let's be honest, it's a loophole around paying a $200 tax isn't it?) and what would legally be a 16" AR.
  17. I think his main concern was being thrown to the ground by an eager LEO of whatever flavor at the range or even on the way to the range by someone who doesn't subscribe to the ATF's Twitter feed to see how they feel about an issue each day of the week.
  18. Now it is time for a quick write-up! I love the M-LOK covers. They have a very nice texture which provides a very nice grip. Same goes for the handstop kit; It allows for a very secure hold on the rifle while allowing my left thump to interface with the M600 light perfectly. I can either push the tail-cap in slightly for a momentary burst of light or push it all the way in for constant on. I am so glad that I did not go the tape-switch route, the setup that I went with is simpler, cheaper, and likely quite a bit more rugged. As far as the picatinny rail covers, they are ok but not as nice as the M-LOK covers in my opinion. I put rails anywhere I could to guard my skin against heat and guard the forend itself from drops, etc. The SL-S stock I seem to really like. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but it feels good against the cheek. Thanks for the input everyone!
  19. Make sure you get the newer STM version. Optically it should be about the same but it uses a different autofucus motor, so focus should be faster and quieter. My opinion. 50mm STM
  20. Last night I finally got rid of the Cabela's cooler I was trying to sell here. Ok, first a little background. After taxes, I valued the cooler and accessories at $395.07. I was trying to sell it on here for $250 without any takers. Fast forward to yesterday, I traded the cooler + $100 for the following lens: Canon EF 17-40L Not only that, but also a B+W 77 Filter It is used but overall in great shape. I think it was a great deal. Thus, now my three lenses are: Canon EF 17-40L 50mm STM 85mm 1.8 This 17-40L is the only lens I've had like this. Obviously I've had a few 18-55mm EF-S lenses, but that is to an extent a different ballpark altogether. On my full-frame, this 17-40L is quite nice from wide to normal. I messed around with it a bit at home and it makes rooms look very, very nice. Primary uses: Architecture, Landscapes, etc. Would also work pretty great as a wallk around lens where you are afraid 50mm may be too tight. Who else has this lens?
  21. In line with all of ZoidMeister's other threads, my understanding is that this was and is, quite simply, a joke. My apologies if it was intended as serious.
  22. Well, that was fun. Finally completed the upgrades I had been wanting for years but patiently putting off. First, to those that suggested I forgo a tape switch connected to the light, Bravo Zulu! It is perfectly placed and useable by my left thumb while securely gripping the handguard. Secondly, I think I love the stock. Cheek wild is amazing. Feels very solid and locks up quite tightly because of then leaf spring on the buffer tube. Haven't filled it with batteries but hope to soon. The handstop kit and complementing rail covers are perfect as well. The M600 is bright bright. Overall, 100% satisfied with every piece that I purchased, which is rare most of the time. Will try for pictures soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Haha. It was since a great price I didn't notice, my bad. I checked the date and saw 7/3 in a frenzy, not realizing yesterday was 3/3 of 2017, not 2015. All I saw was 3 for the date and very, very quickly went to buy one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
