  1. And to me, even more importantly, the magazines, parts, and accessories are generally much cheaper but yet produce excellent results per dollar spent compared to other brands. Also, compatibility between 19/17/26 and 23/22/27 is, in my opinion, unmatched with any other handgun system out there regarding magazines, internals, and holsters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. There isn't a lot of models availible but pretty good pricing for what they do have: Streamlight Sale
  3. Yeah, murders, thefts, kidnappings, and rapes have all been in the news for years for Craigslist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Read 11/22/63 authored by King. It has about as much credence as that theory in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Some stories are too short to make sense. This is one of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. I would bet that Dolomite likely would draw less attention with this pistol AK if he wanted to than many of the people strapping a Glock .380 to their hip in OWB carry. For some people, "carry" means throwing a folding brace AK pistol in a tennis racket bag and then carrying that over your shoulder. Whether your location, job, etc places you in less than comfortable locations, perhaps "carry" means walking from the parking lot to your work business or from the parking lot to your apartment. Some people may have different life circumstances in which they are in more danger than others, pass through dangerous areas, etc. I don't see how we can jump on one another in telling those people they are wrong to do as they wish when it is legal. I doubt anyone is trying to stuff one of these in their coat, but seeing how Dolomite spent a lot of time on the battlefield, if anyone could do it, it'd be him;) I too do not understand such an alarmist response and the seemingly personal attack.
  8. First, let me state I mislead you a bit. This article isn't about fingerlakes but rather how much finger is the right amount of finger for a handgun. So when I first starting carrying a Glock 19 Gen 4, I stuck the "L" grip adapter onto the thing and never really gave it much more thought. However, I started thinking about it today after reading some about the Gen 5. So I found the following picture (clicking the picture will take you to the article). I think I now realize one reason I typically shoot left. With the "L" adapter, I don't think I'm getting as much finger on the trigger as I need. I have never truly had any formal handgun training, I fear I developed bad habits from the start. But I'm excited to go home and investigate this more with the Glock. I suspect I will take the grip adapter off and try shooting it without. And as a bonus, I leave you with this:
  9. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is an apparent fact. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I hope so. Honestly that would be pretty ok, push it off on the ATF while knowing they cannot interpret "Machine Gun Language" any differently and then it fades away six months from now after everything has died down. With that being said, assuming that the bill is actually just a bill and was presented to actually pass, I guess I'm just numb to the whole thing in a big way now. With Legislative and Executive branches both Republican controlled, I guess that ANY legislation that is passed will come across as a betrayal to me. I never falsely believed that Republicans were truly 100% Pro-2nd Amendment, but a lot of them present themselves as that way. However, when it comes down to it, a lot of "Pro-2nd Amendment" people are simply the "hunting rifle don't touch my six-shooter, I don't own any of that military type stuff and I think it should be banned variety". In all honestly, I think I generally like 100% anti-gun people more than the pseudo gun loving hypocrite described above. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I just happen to find a lot of error the in the extremely strong "Pro-Gun Anti-Scary Gun" type of people out there.
  11. A very rhetorical question could then be asked, "How is one supposed to represent their constituents if they consider themselves too good/busy for their constituents?". I'm optimistic that the bill itself will not go anywhere, although I'm realistic to know that it could go somewhere.
  12. A while back I purchased amongst many, many knives about 3-4 of the Buck conversions. They were really near. Sold them as I had no use for them and it was before the TN knife laws changed. Now I wish I had kept them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. And it has been mentioned and covered time after time, but I question the sanity of anyone who ever questioned how he got 400lbs up to the room. Even if you pretend that bellhops don't exist, how much is 400lbs? Sure, he was a slightly older feller so maybe he wasn't as strong as ever, but even if he had to he could have carried 50lbs in a shoulder bag 8 times. In a large hotel, that would draw exactly zero attention. But like others have said, with bellhops and room/service carts, he probably never had to carry the first heavy bag up to the room unless he wanted to. And even if, by the slimmest of chances and I don't believe it did or would have happened, hotel staff of any kind discovered the contents of any of the bags, do you know what would have happened? Probably nothing. All he had to do was state that he was in town for some sort of shoot/training and didn't want to keep the contents in his car in concern of theft. Hotels/casinos don't exactly have a history of pushing away people that have and spend money like it is nothing.
  14. I agree. The brother is likely sleep deprived, horrified, possibly burdened with guilt (as in, "I should have realized something was wrong. If only I had called him more,"), and also just downright annoyed with the media pestering him so much. He doesn't know when or how to shut-up, so that gives the media lots of awkward comments and clips, which makes the media want to go any him some more questions. He is also probably quite concerned that some of this will stick to him, not only legally but also just socially. He was already known as the guy whose father was a bank robber, now he will forever be known as the guy whose brother was a mass murderer. So he is trying to paint his brother as a "great, ok guy that had to have had something wrong with him" all the while distancing himself enough so that he doesn't bring suspicion towards himself.
  15. There is something about the smoothness of a 92FS that I will always love fondly. I sold mine years ago to fund a CZ purchase. I had to reevaluate my tastes this morning when I saw you could pick up a 92FS for $450 shipped. http://palmettostatearmory.com/beretta-92fs-9mm-js92f300m.html I think I'm going to stay away from this one, but it is a great deal for something usually $100-$150 more.
  16. I had the hand warmer once. It was pretty nice but I never really used it much. I was just about to get the "Candle Lighter" but then saw that it runs on butane. I thought it would be great to have a lighter like that filled with typical lighter fluid.
  17. Amazon.com Some good prices on all things "Zippos". I don't know exactly why, but I've always had a fondness for various methods for starting fires.
  18. Supposedly he retired when his actual job was too stressful. All because of his brother being very well off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  20. That guy is a bit off his rails. With that said, some people don’t know when to keep their mouth shut. Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if that was alcohol he was drinking. As off as he is, I wouldn’t necessarily put much stock in the lady that made that video. In my opinion, she is grasping for straws and attempting to get an uproar out of her audience, all the whole painting her biased narrative on the whole thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. But, with a "Pro-Gun" President and a "Pro-Gun" House and a "Pro-Gun" Senate, explain to me why anything "needs" to be "compromised"? Seems to me if anyone truly was "Pro-Gun" and anyone truly hand any backbone and truly represented We The People, then absolutely, literally, nothing could be done and we could just go forward. As tragic as it was, after Sandy Hook a lot of pro gun people fought and fought and fought, because "Obama!". I thought an AWB was coming down the pipe but it never did. Now this has happened and a lot of those very same "pro gun people" are saying "Look, this is reasonable, lets do this, it doesn't affect me,". It's easy to keep things out of Congress when you control both the House and the Senate in terms of political parties. I think this is a decent litmus test to determine exactly how "Pro-Gun" many Republicans that advertise themselves as such are.
  24. Let’s not forget the GOPA that Reagan signed. It was supposed to be “good” but think for a bit about the Hughes Amendment. I’d hate to go into session attempting to “trade” bump fire stocks for reciprocity, and then “accidentally” lose semi-auto rifles, drum magazines, or anything else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. But, “they” are “we” and in this case the “we” is “them” and not “us”. Reagan signed in the last major AWB. Let’s not become complacent just because we pretend to want to trust Trump with the 2nd. For years people dug up quotes from Obama’s books insinuating support of Islam. Shall we do the same regarding some of Trump’s older books regarding the 2nd? I’m not convinced. Sure, he hopefully is better than Hillary would have been, but I don’t consider him a strong ally either regarding that right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
