  1. @Fourtyfive I merged your topic with the original. Didn't think we needed two threads going.
  2. I did read that Iran tipped off Iraq regarding the missiles, and Iraq also tipped us off regarding them. Seems nearly a play out of a Clinton playbook.
  3. Looks like someone had the unfortunate coincidence of a plane crashing. Bets?
  4. Technically, though, aren't these letters only "good" for the person that the letter is written to? (I think that's a trick question). The answer depends on how much lawyer you can afford.
  5. They're...52 cards in a deck. Just saying...
  6. I love scripting things. It’s something probably 90% of people never attempt or even know is possible. But you can automate so many things with a bit of research.
  7. How are you running it? Via task scheduler, via cmd, or clicking the batch file? No issue in adding the following line to the very end/exit of the batch file: exit
  8. I don't know exactly what the operating structure for the "Alarms" directory is, but you may or may not consider implementing a variable = today, mkdir variable, and then copy everything into that new directory. Your backups directory would have a long list of directories by date and then copies within for all the files. This would only be really beneficial if the files change sometimes and if you may want to go back to look at previous versions. If the files are large, though, it'll compound linearly everyday. I'm more experienced in Bash scripting than writing batch files on Windows, and even though the concept is the same I wouldn't be the exact person to look at for a Windows 98 environment. I don't know that it would work, but I'd write something like this. https://pastebin.com/z1VQmXXW I'm on a Mac right now with no access to a Windows computer, I wouldn't expect any of that to work properly but I put it together quickly just to give an idea of what could be done. I do have a Windows computer at home and everytime I exit Adobe Lightroom it automatically creates a backup of its database. The backups get stuck in my Dropbox folder. However, the backups do end up taking decent space eventually. My solution? I wrote a batch file to automatically find those backups in that directory older than 14 days and delete them. I threw it in the Startup folder on Windows 10. As such, it automatically purges those backups older than 14 days when I boot the computer. Again, just ideas of what can be done.
  9. I imagine it'd depend on the FFL. Some FFL's will accept a firearm (shipped to them) and then transfer it to someone. In that scenario, he could have shipped it to an FFL near you. I'd honestly find the closest FFL that you like, call them and simply tell them you'd like to have a firearm transferred from your FIL out of state.
  10. I'd say a $30.00 transfer is cheaper than a lawyer.
  11. Yeah, two thoughts. The chances of it causing an issue? Not very high. The cost of going to a local (in TN) FFL and performing a transfer? $30.00 +=$10.00. The peace of mind knowing that there is no legal issue at all? 100% priceless.
  12. I saw an ad today on Instagram for an outdoor company. It's like a short video clip. All I could think...is... Do they breathe?
  13. https://youtu.be/3Xl0Qr0uXuY
  14. I'm not entirely sure whether "Rosesimin" was illegitimate. Oftentimes you will see a label generated but it make take days for the pickup or drop-off to occur. I haven't researched them to see whether other people have had issues or not, but keep in mind that PSA (Palmetto State Armory) itself has been the subject of such discussions simply because they took weeks to ship in a world that expects Prime equivalent shipping on everything. Regarding @flyingtiger1825@gmail.com, at first I wondered if it/he may be an attempt to legitimize Rosesimin (as in, Rosesimin searches the internet for topics such as this thread and posts on them in an attempt to make it seem like Rosesimin is legitimate). But it doesn't make sense in any form, and is not even specific to the thread itself. I wanna know how @flyingtiger1825@gmail.com knows @TerryW's pants are waterproof in the first place.
  15. Regarding stocks, does anyone use Robinhood? Sign up using this link and you'll get a free stock, as will I. A bit of shameless self promotion, sure. But I enjoy using them because they is no selling/buying fees. You can buy a single stock of Ford and not have to shell out ~$5.00 to make the trade. They make their money by selling a monthly subscription service. To be completely transparent, I've been using Robinhood for years without issue. It isn't the most advanced platform out there, but suffices to me perfectly for simply buying, holding, and then later selling.
  16. Whelps, since this is in Cleveland and a building I've been in before multiple times, I got super curious so i looked this up today. http://clevelandbanner.com/stories/man-charged-in-accidental-shooting-at-cscc,106522? By the way, the "Business Incubator" is a place of resources for small business owners (particularly those just getting started) open to the public.
  17. I'd cross my fingers for a carbine competing with a CZ Scorpion, a really nice .22lr pistol. However, I'm wondering if maybe something related to this: https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/09/24/new-glock-46-rotating-barrel-lockup-german-police-trials/
  18. A pistol caliber carbine...that doesn't accept standard Glock magazines.
  19. Agreed 100%. It seems to me as well that if any of the lawsuit is true, should be easy to prove. Or disprove if it is wrong.
  20. As far as I know, 100%.
  21. Out of curiously, would it at minimum catch your attention if page 19 of the lawsuit posted above turned out to be true?
  22. Which was why in the original post I trying to set the direction that this thread isn't about Zimmerman's guilt or innocence but rather this lawsuit itself and whether or not there is any truth to it.
  23. Dang. This ain't sealing the deal for you? An expulsion hearing was set for Trayvon after he tried to hit a bus driver. Trayvon's text messages indicated he was dealing handguns to his underage friends, and that he was a heavy marijuana user.
  24. Worth a read, the actual lawsuit: http://www.larryklayman.com/pdf/191203-ZimmermanvFultonEtal.pdf Defendant Rachel Jeantel is the half-sister of Brittany Diamond Eugene. Defendant Jeantel's mother is Marie Eugene, who is also the biological mother of Brittany Diamond Eugene.
  25. I'm confused the more I read about this. Did Rachel Jeantel actually ever pretend to be Brittany Eugene? Doesn't seem so. https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/rachel-jeantel-on-trial I mean, she used her real name back in 2013. Maybe the lawsuit/article means that she pretended to have been the one Trayvon was on the phone with?
