Hey! That unpopular opinion should be popular! I doubt the bump stock ban would have happened if Hillary was president. Well, one doesn’t have to agree with the way things are being handled to be able to accept that the pandemic is a very real and serious issue. 9/11 was obviously a huge tragedy but one doesn’t have to agree with the aftermath of 9/11 to feel sadness and respect for the tragedy itself.

Serious question: Do you still feel right calling it a scamdemic after discussing this further with your former co-worker?

I'm all about arguments/discussions. I can be good friends with people that hold opposing views as long as they respect me. My views, like theirs, are shaped by my experiences. Arguments can be had all day long and respect between the two parties never has to be lost. I rather enjoy @Daniel being more active here. I don't agree with a lot of what he posts, but that doesn't mean he is wrong all the time either. And when any space becomes an echo chamber, that's when things can go south very quickly. I will always encourage and appreciate debate. You may never, ever agree with certain people, but at least conversing with them helps you challenge your own views.

On that note, I enjoyed watching some of the contestants on the show Alive fashion fishing lures and/or hooks from salvaged cans they had found. Some of them were amazing.

Methinks @JunkiCosmonaut could 3D print a hollow handle and glue it to a blade forged from a Coke can and it'd be stronger/more useful than **some** of the "survival knives" I've seen for sale.
