1.   This was my email. Not for anyone to copy and paste, but rather to perhaps inspire someone with what to write. Do it now!
2.
I thought he was best in Bruce Almighty
That was ok, but he was even better in The Pursuit of Happiness. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
3.   Yeah, I figured out after posting that I should have read it thread by thread;)
4. According to LifeHacker:   Mohu Leaf Clearstream 2 RCA ANT1050 Terk HDTVa Winegard Flatwave I myself have considered picking up that Mohu, it seems pretty neat and may do so sometime. If I do, I will definitely post my experience here. However, I also read the following rumor and have yet to try it even though I am extremely interested.   Theoretically you can pick up some channels by hooking your TV up to your cable line even if you don't have cable. I pay for Charter thus have an active cable connection. Supposedly if I hook the TV up to the cable line I may be able to pickup some local channels for free. Anyone tried this before?
5.   Epic example of epic fail. He brought back this "dead" thread because the gun was stolen.
6. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2014/02/06/pop-tart-gun-bill/5254629/   Legislature in Florida to bring some common sense back into our schools. It's being called the "Pop-Tart Gun Bill". It protects students that chew there Pop-Tarts into the shapes of guns and the like.
7.   I could be mistaken about this...but I do believe something about some Mosin's being imported "as pistols" specifically for this purpose. Meaning that they were modified before coming into the United States (and thus, before ATF even knew about them).   I think you are right about doing it yourself though.
8.   Obama? I don't know...I haven't checked in a while.
9.   Yep, and had it passed last year then it would have been enacted  July 1, 2013. However, it did not pass. Therefore, absolutely nothing took place. You could write up crazy bill with your Representative and have him file it. Then, anyone could read that bill could do so by going to http://www.capitol.tn.gov/Bills/108/Bill/Proposed-Bill-Number-Here. Perhaps this is an example of HB0582:   As enacted, it will be illegal for TGO user TheButterSponge to place butter on sponges on any day of the week that doesn't end in z. This act shall take effect July 1, 2015.   Some Representative drafted that and stuck in with all the other proposed bills. Without sponsors and going before applicable committees (The Breakfast Club, International House of Pancakes, etc) and then being passed by both the Tennessee House and Tennessee Senate, and then being signed into law by the Governor of Tennessee, TheButterSponge can put as much butter on sponges on any day of the week that he wants to. However, if that bill were passed (House/Senate) and signed (Governor), then it would take place July 1, 2015. But up until that point you can do whatever you want.   Bill = Proposed Law   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyeJ55o3El0
10. Just about everyday I check Amazon's "Lightning Deals". Those can be seen here everyday.   I noticed that, later today starting at 12:30 PM EST, the G-Shock that I purchased is going to be on there. I paid $81.72. It is currently at $86.78. CamelCamelCamel says that the lowest Amazon has sold it for is $63.22.   If the GW-6900 breaks below $63.22, it is a definite buy for anyone looking for a quality G-Shock with solar and atomic capabilities. I've had mine since November. Not once has it shown to be on the "medium" battery level; It has always shown "high". You all know how much sunny weather we have had since November, and to top it off I spend 8 hours in an office everyday with fluorescent lighting.   GW-6900   EDIT:   At 4:30 PM EST the AWGM100-1ACR also goes on sale as a lightening deal.
11.
There is one listed in knoxville for 350.00 , probably a blue label , but the price seems to be dropping fast . One sold on Gun Brokers a few days ago for 460.00 that a local gun shop had . It was said they can be ordered online for 424.00 but I didn't check it out because this was the first Glock that I just have no interest in owning but after watching the whole review he also mentions that price . Either way that is a big drop from a few weeks ago. I had started watching the review and just finished it . I also watched several other reviews on it and just can't get excited about a 380 in the size gun that so many are making in 9mm. I am sure they will sell just because it is a Glock but I am not sure of how well they will sell. I even have a 45 GAP and a G36 . The 45 GAP was cheap but I still don't know why I bought it . I have never shot it . The 36 I really like and carry often .
That one listed in Knoxville is listed in nearly every city in America, if you speak of gunlistings.org. That tells me it is a scammer probably not even in the US. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
12. I'd call it....an M-15ery   A forgery between an M-14 and an M-16.   :stir:   I do like it.
13.   I was sort of imagine something like the following may have taken place.   Owner suspects people may be buying product for Meth. Owner calls cops to see if product can be used to make meth. Cops say yes. Next time suspicious customers come in, he approaches them after they purchase all the product he has. He tells them he knows that they are using it for meth and hey can get them as much as they want, but they'll have to pay for it. He also says they'll have to pay 1000% markup to keep him quite about it. Maybe instead of having suspicious customer come into the store, he tells them he will deliver or meet them somewhere locally to sell the stuff by the case.    I agree that if he played a "don't ask don't tell" policy he wouldn't have been guilty of anything. But at what line does he stop being an innocent supplier and start being an accomplice?   EDIT: I don't know the answer to that, but according to a jury he certainly crossed it somewhere.
14.   That's good:)   I purchased last night from their website:   QPA (Flashlight, Single AA Body) 2A Body (Double AA Body) L Body (Single CR123 Body) Deep Carry Pocket Clip Tactical Tailcap This will allow me to swap between three bodies and use either one AA, two AA's, or one CR123. With one AA output should be 130 lumens, and with two AA's or one CR123 output should be 246 lumens or so.   I did this so that I could use rechargeable Eneloop AA's for daily use, but then keep the L Body on my keychain for backup light.   Pictures and reviews when everything gets here.
I'm going to give myself a pat on the back whether I deserve it or not. If you watch the video from the proceedings, take note at 1:29:06. Senator Campfield talks about where the State Constitution doesn't give them the authority to delegate that to municipalities as I mentioned in paragraph 2 of my email ("Do you believe the Tennessee Legislature has the authority to grant any local governmental entity the power to ban any right articulated in the Federal and/or State Constitutions?"). He then goes on to discuss strict scrutiny which is what I argued about toward the end of my email ("Of course, you also continue to overlook the part that says "with a view to prevent crime". You should be required to prove that the legislation actually addresses a crime"). Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe not. I still enjoyed hearing it articulated in the Legislature.
Pat pat. 16. I would suspect that he was in some form or fashion some form of accessory to cooking it. Possibly conversations and knowledgeable selling to people he became acquainted with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

18.   Coupons! Didn't think to look, but what % are the typically? Also.....wow. I've browsed CPF before but joined yesterday. If anyone thinks gun forums are intriguing and  filled with a bunch of stuff, wait until you take a look at light forums.
19.
I've got a 4sevens quark, 2 aa model. Can't beat this light for an EDC / camping / have around the house light. Seems to be pretty durable and tough, at least as good as my streamlight. Very well built too, especially little details like the square machined threads. It's as bright as you need for general use, but I find myself using the lower modes at least as much as full on. Especially like the moonlight mode when the lights are out and I don't want to bother the wife or kids. The cr123 quark model burns a little longer and a little brighter but I wanted a more common and cheaper battery, plus I can use my rechargeable eneloops. I spent an extra ten bucks and got the tactical tail cap because I liked the momentary on / one handed thumb operation but didn't like the limited functionality of the tactical model.
I am so close to doing exactly this. All of my lights are CR123, it wouldn't hurt to have a AA light. I was thinking about getting one and some Eneloops as well. Also, the tail cap I decided would have to be the tactical version as well but with the Pro programming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
20.
I wish the TFA would do like the GOA and include a sample email in their alerts. I'm not very good at composing this stuff and if I could just fill in my name and address and send, I would send more. The NRA does that too. Makes it easy to participate. And they don't read them anyway. It's a numbers thing, for or against.
On the state level, I think a lot of them do. I emailed one of the above listed that is mentioned as being a flip flipper and told him I thought that was disposable. Needless to say within a bit of time he emailed be back (or one of his aides) saying that he was sorry I felt he was disposable and that the NRA gives him an A rating. I have also gotten quite a few good responses from Mike Bell, my state senator. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
21. So I have the lightbug. As stated in other posts, I already have had the following lights:   (flashlight)     Surefire G2 LED (flashlight)     Surefire E1B (lost it, just haven't admitted it to myself yet) (flashlight)     Surefire E2DL (headlamp)    Surefire Saint (weaponlight) Surefire X300 Ultra   So...I don't know if you can tell...but I like Surefire. However, I'm looking at purchasing a new light for EDC in a pocket. I love Surefire and they have never let me down, but it seems you can get so much more for a fraction of the price from other manufacturers.   What I have to consider:   Battery Life Lumens Programming (button click interface) Programming Ability (some lights you can change the interface) Country of Manufacture (USA is better) Durability/Reliability Whatever I purchase, I want it to be tough. Personally, I think I would like a light with strobe. I like the 4Sevens lights because I could set the strobe to come on first click, and then a different brightness for the second click. I assume you can easily cycle through all of the levels as well?   I also like the idea of a flashlight that can take a rechargeable battery as well as CR123's for backup. This would nearly eliminate my day to day use but allow me to keep a set of spare CR123's on me just in case. This, only if it is reliable and done correctly without compromise.   In terms of durability, which of the brands are as durable as Surefire?
