1. I attend a church that meets in schools. I've noticed the posting at one of the schools, but it doesn't really matter since schools are off limits in TN anyway. :-(
2.
But Bloomington coach Dale Chung says Arroyo Valley used a full-court press for the entire first half to lead 104-1 at halftime.
This is the part I thought was poor sportsmanship. I think he should have called off the full court press sooner considering how bad the competition was. This, on the other hand, is just sour grapes. And, it is curious that there's no mention of who suspended the coach.

I bought a house with a stand of running bamboo in the back corner of the yard, and it is aggressive. You definitely want to heed the warning regarding a rhizome barrier. I've been told that the seams need to be joined, too. You didn't mention if you wanted a movement barrier or a sight barrier. Running bamboo may not prevent encroachment onto your property, but it will slow down larger creatures (think medium sized dogs and up). Another option for a sight barrier is ornamental grass. You'll want to be sure to pick a tall variety that's suitable for your climate zone. Similar to the advice on arbor vitae, it's best to plant staggered rows.
4. Might that little company have been Alltel? I have used Net10 prepaid for about seven (7) years, and I've been happy with it. I buy a 300 minute/60 day card approximately every other month for about $33 after taxes and fees. I don't use it a lot and have accumulated over 8000 minutes. I've been using the same old fashioned Nokia phone for the entire time. It is registered with AT&T (uses AT&T voicemail system and appears like an AT&T phone to AT&T customers). There is one spot I visit yearly in the southeast corner of Kansas where I have a hard time getting a signal indoors. Otherwise coverage has been good. I believe there's a chance your phone may register as a T-Mobile phone, too. The downside is that you have to buy and use one of their proprietary phones unless you want to pay $50 monthly for their "bring your own phone" unlimited plan. If I had to do it over, I might have gone with a T-Mobile prepaid plan. You can use their prepaid SIM in any T-Mobile or unlocked GSM phone. My parents use T-Mobile prepaid phones and haven't complained. If you use as few minutes as me, you can buy a 1 year/1000 minute card for $100. I don't think T-Mobile coverage is quite as good, though. My research has focused entirely on voice and text. If you think you might want to use data, you may come to a totally different conclusion regarding bang for the buck.
5. I cannot help regarding a better location in that part of the state, but I can clarify that you do not have to use a location in your county. I used a location in an adjacent county because the locations in my county generally have really long lines. Congrats on getting this far!
6. What? Edited for stray characters...
7. I appreciate your desire to make a positive difference in society, but I think you'd be better off channeling that into building relationships with kids from broken homes through something like Big Brothers Big Sisters or a faith based mentoring effort. Shouting at a stranger that is acting foolishly isn't likely to make anyone act better unless you're also intimidating them in some way. I think the way you handled the confrontation was wise. A gentle word turns away wrath. That obviously worked in this instance. I think walking away without answering would have likely escalated the situation. The bully would likely have interpreted that as a sign of disrespect.
8. The title made me think we were jettisoning a newspaper.
9.     I am thinking the same thing. A series of leading questions and then a solicitation for funds to "fight Obama"! Edit: Oops...typo
10. George apparently received diversion yesterday. The disposition for his misdemeanor Reckless Endangerment charge is now "DIVERSION(NOT A FINAL" with a court date of 06/30/2015 for "END OF DIVERSION". So, it appears he will get off fairly easy if he can stay out of trouble for a year. Hopefully he got himself a good pocket holster and this won't happen again. :-)
11. IANAL, but it's my understanding that there are two (2) types of diversion in Tennessee: pre-trial and judicial. This link has an explanation, and perhaps one of our lawyers will give some more details. http://www.nashvillecriminallawyerblog.com/2012/09/11/tennessee-expungement-law-overview/
12. George had a court date yesterday, and the court's website shows he applied for diversion. The felony (class E) charge, Reckless Endangerment-Deadly Weapon, was dropped (nolle prosequi) as was the carry violation (i.e. weapon prohibited). The Reckless Endangerment charge, class A misdemeanor, remains. His next court date is July 2.
13. According to the affidavit, a Cobra derringer (without a holster) fell out of his pocket and discharged. He was arrested by an off duty officer and charged with Reckless Endangerment and T.C.A 39-17-1359. I suspect it won't be a good test case for 39-17-1359 since there's more to the story than just carrying past a sign. http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2014/may/21/gun-fires-after-falling-out-of-mans-pocket-movie/ To see the affidavit, go to the link below and search using booking number 14118405. https://documents.shelbycountytn.gov/Affidavits/
