She's going to kill me for this.... But I have to give it to her. My wife hates guns (Why she married me I still don't know). She came out to a photoshoot yesterday to support me and brought a book to read and she got asked to be a model shooting, thankfully she said yes and had an ok time. She didn't try to kill me on the ride home, so I guess it was bearable. Haha. She's shot with me at a range 4 times in the 6.5 years we have been married. So this was a big stepping stone. For those that are not following the Toys for Tots machine gun shoot in the Events section for November 1st, Mike Dresner and myself will be there with allllllll our toys. I'll have suppressors for about all my guns, including my M249. Mike should have his M60 there, as well as mine hopefully. He will also have his M249 I'm hoping. Here is a taste of what I'll have. To lazy to dig through the rest of the safe, and my other one. So you'll just have to show up and see what will all be there!

I'm cool with my wife hating guns. More ammo for me and my budget isn't effected by my next gun needing to be pink. She respects my passion for them and is very supportive. But doesn't want anything to do with them. It actually works out very well.

Naturally, she was scared of it. But got better at the end. I'm just glad she decided in the end to actually watch where she was shooting while holding the trigger down.

I'm going to find a new bridge and cut the old one off and weld a new one on once I find a replacement. It's giving me issues. Fires great. But has some complications that are hard to explain. But a new bridge will fix it.

It's in Acetone now getting chemicals off it. Then it'll be Cerakoted here shortly. Maybe tomorrow. Headed to work now.   No one get arrested, I want to sleep at work today.

If they didn't want to get shot they shouldn't have been there in the first place :)

If I can make it, I'll be shooting my M249 suppressed with DBAL (IR laser and IR flashlight) with PVS14 night vision.   If John lets me :)   Need to see if Mike Dresner can go. He'll be at my house Saturday and I'm trying to get him to run some big guns with me. But he's a big maybe right now. Someone needs to message him and bug him to attend :)

Slap it? I prefer to kick it, ha. No really, I literally kick them. When I got to my unit back in the yesteryears the turd before me never cleaned or oiled his SAW. The charging handle rusted closed and we had to kick it multiple times as hard as we could to get it to move. Needless to say, he was being kicked out for being a turd, so didn't care much to do anything. Thats the first time, and far from the last time I have had to kick start a M249.

That's a pre may sample at that. There is ONE that I know of in the registry that's transferable and I saw it for sale last year for $550,000....

No HK sear pack here. Open bolt gun. Thought about running a sear pack, but would need about $2,800 more in parts to convert to semi auto-closed bolt. Who wants to do that… Ha.    And suppressed because…. well, I can. :) Thats about the only reason, honestly. I had a spare barrel laying around I threaded to accept an AAC brake and just threw on a SDN-6, because.   I'm going to make a 300 blackout barrel for it here shortly, run some subsonics suppressed through it. 

First, this wouldn't have been possible without Mikes help (Lawenforcement sales). Big thanks to him for all the help he's given me and work he's done. Next: I just finished it. (Still needs to be coated and that's it). ran some blanks through it and she worked perfect. Next, live ammo. Hopefully next weekend. Or I'll head up to strategic edge Monday or Wednesday to try it out if I have free time.
