  1. 6.8, you've been to my place, you know I have no secret location to put it! haha. Sure as heck not carrying it up the stairs.... :) and that closet we both know wont fit much more... haha.    If my room isn't clean and tidy it drives me nuts. I spend most my time in here while I am home. If it gets dirty I cant proficiently work, and if I cant do that... well, I literally will go mad... I'm kind of a perfectionist :)
  2. 2009 Ducati monster 696 and 2006 yz250 with Eric gorr 295cc kit
  3. Jealous to say the least.... wanna share :)
  4. Glad I'm good to go... I ordered all my Dillon stuff my last rotation home. Over a grand in just tool heads and powder throwers for all the calibers I reload. Would suck to get it now...
  5. I had a .40 compact I traded and a .45 compact I also traded. Loved both of them. Have a full size .40 now that I wont get rid of. The compacts are a little bulky like people have said. I used a crossbread IWB and didn't think it was horrible. All 3 of my HK's have been amazingly accurate, all DA/SA, and been flawless.    Funny enough I traded my Sig P226 DAK for this full size USP .40 (I say its funny because I just got done reading a sig post)
  6. I do have about 160-170 Brownells mags left for $25 if anyone is interested.
  7. I bought a CAI tantal on a nodak-spud receiver NIB for $400 in sept 2012. this is a total joke.
  8. I've had a p229 .40 for a long time. I use grease and not lube. She runs flawlessly with all types of ammo. Thinking back, not sure when I had my last jam even... if ever? Sigs seem to like grease over lube though. I also had a p226 DAK, and let me tell you, I realized how fast I hated the DAK trigger. Sold that thing off after one range trip. My p229 has a SRT trigger in it, and I don't think I could ever get another Sig without it. Love it.
  9. I bet you can find these things used as well for cheap off gunbroker or something. No reason to pay the $650 on Surefires website.
  10. I run a Surefire M952V with a pressure switch and pistol grip on my M6A3. Been using that set up for years and years, just updated the light once in a great while. Couldnt be happier with it. Single LED bulb, lasts 8 times longer than most Surefires.. like 8 hours insted of 20 minutes. And I can just rotate the head to IR. I'll get a pic later of it. Yes, its an expensive light, but I think its worth it.
  11. I was charged like $9 or $10 IIRC. Seemed a little steep for a envelope full of mags...
  12. Got all 6 of my Glock mags in the mail today! Man, they really did have them in stock... :)
  13. Major LWRC lover. This this is amazing. And 6.8 is one of my favorite calibers. I should request these at work... Haha
  14. They have a pretty amazing battery life, but mine haven't been changed in years either. Luckily I have irons on my gun so it didn't hinder me to much. Was working on a 100 yard sight in for it though and got bambulled by dead batteries. Funny enough I think that's only the second time I've ever had to change them.
  15. Really interested in seeing the conversion complete on this, and how well it works...
  16. I was at GGC the other week and my eotech did the same thing... brought extra everything, but AA's... Don't you just love that...?
  17. Correct. Alliant tech (atk) does. Federal, lake city, the list goes on and on. I used to live next to their Plymouth Minnesota building, even went to shadow their engineers for a day when that's what I was going to school for. There is no doubt in my mind they are busting their butts to keep up the best they can. On a side not. That place is amazing. Underground tank round testing, met the designer of the old OICW and the dude that designs their kinetic energy rounds. Man. Talk about the best day ever.
  18. ordered 21, 22, and 19 mags! now i just need a 19... haha. GREAT FIND!
  19. congrats! wish i was in the same boat!!    need some 22 and 21 mags.   hell, still need a 19....
  20. Video makes me jealous your wife likes to shoot... I've been married 3 and a half wonderful years and used to shoot everyday, shoot for a living, and train all the time, and what does my wife like? everything but guns. She's been shooting less times then you have fingers. Lucky man, you are...
  21. Concealment. If you question it, Its concealment.
  22. I run a Leupold 60080   Its a MK4 6.5x20x50mm with M1 turrets with TMR reticle.    Its under your $2k budget, and I'll take it to the field with me. We use Nightforce's on our 110's and 24's for my current job now, and they are nice, don't get me wrong, but I'll still take my Loopy. You really don't need a crazy magnification. I honestly only use mine at about 10x for everything I shoot. Also, FFP would be the way to go for the distance your talking. I choose SFP because I don't crank mine up when shooting distance and measuring Mil's. Plus, I'm a cheapskate.
