1. We use biometrics to clock in and out of work. Simple and fast. I think it's a good concept and if the application is right it can be great to have it.
2. I have a bunch of G-codes stuff. I love the interchangeability. And the holsters are freaking great. Amazing quality. So, I can run the holster however I want, ect ect, change guns on the belt in a matter of seconds. If you are starting fresh on a new belt, I'd get G-code products for sure. 3.   It's all about finding space.... I have a 2 car garage and an attached shop thats the size of a single car garage, but I have way to many toys and other crap that occupies the space. If I had more room I'd love to keep them.
4. Wow, your good! 285/70/r17 is correct! Even correct on the tires! Nitto Grapplers is correct again!   Wheels are:      MB Wheels Kronk 17X9 6-139.7-10AMF
5. Thanks! I run Taco rifle/pistol pouches, HSGI bleeder pouch (which came in handy the other day when my buddy took a richocet from steel to the chest), HSGI NVG pouch, ASP, and two single HSGI pistol pouches I use for a flashlight and gerber. It also has a g-code RTI holster which I'll take an updated picture of later, and soon to have a RTI wheel mount for the med kit so it's easier to take off when needed fast instead of taking my belt off.
6. Thanks! That's what I was going for. Nothing to aggressive or flashy but still mean looking and nothing that hums while I drive and kills my gas milage. So far these are way smoother than my last set of tires and are super quite. I really like them.
7. Decided I wanted new rims and tires for my truck yesterday. (Well, wife told me to get them, so i was just listening to her.... Yeah, I have a pretty awesome wife!) Old rims and tires are for sale in the non-firearms section if anyone's interested. Chevy alloy rims and Bridgestone a/t tires.
8. Wtf is wrong with people these days?!?? Hate that sh$t!!!! Sorry to hear that man... :(
9. Wow, just wow. That's they kind of guy I want to be teaching me. That's for sure.
10. Love mine. I get home the 10th and live in hendersonville. Feel free to check it out. It changed a little since this. This is when I first put it together. No more dump pouch and I finally got my G-Code RTI holsters I ordered in for it with drop drown belt attachment. Completely love this thing.
11. I'm not jealous at all.... Ok you got me.... I'm extermely jealous!!! I really want an AI bad. If my mp5 sells ill be getting a MKIII with 2.0 and break.
12. I'd say rem 700. 308 or 223. Military calibers. Means there will always be ammo being produced or stocked somewhere. Something like a SPS model. Then install a detachable bottom metal, and use mags. 5-10 round AI mags would also be idea and extremely reliable.
13. shucks, 150 MPG and a 200 MPH car.... not sure if thats acceptable.... haha.    SIGN ME UP FOR ONE IF THATS THE CASE!
14. Does anyone have scrap aluminum around? 1x1 or 1x2 square, even 2" round bar would work. Also looking for 1-2" diameter steel bar, like 4130.   Does anyone have some left over, sitting around, or anything they just don't want anymore?   The steel bar I want to use to make a muzzle break, and the aluminum another project for the house. I'm really just interested in finally spending more time behind my mill.
15. don't judge me.... haha. like i said. don't ask.
16. I had two sure fire hell fighters, at 3,000 lumes each. Don't even ask.... Haha. I can't imagine what a 3,800 lum light can do.
17. Nice set up. Besides the light, I like it. (Hate pistol lights in general) haha
18. You'll have to find a store with them in stock, or able to get you one while he is home. You'll need it's serial number. I know the outpost armory had a sbr sig 551 last time I was there. They can walk you through the steps no problem. I have bought a couple class 3 items from them before. More than helpful when it comes to helping out with the paperwork.
19. If he is stationed in Africa, and gets the gun next time he is home, and leaves it with you, that might cause legal issues. It's been discussed to death here. If you know the safe combo where it's stored that could cause issues. It's pretty lame. He should really look into a trust and put your name on the trust.
20. Does he have the gun in his possession? Like at your house already? Or just knows what one he wants to buy? If he has a legal residence in the US still yes, it's more than perfect for him to do the paperwork when he is home, and when he comes home next, he will be approved and can get his gun if he doesn't already own it, or can convert it if he's making his own. Yes. Finger prints, passport photos, and signed paperwork is done at the beginning, then submitted at once.
21. He will need to be there in person. Needs finger prints taken, and a cheif of police or sheriff to sign the form and a passport photo taken if he is doing the transfer (form 4) or making the conversion himself (form 1). And no one gets special treatment unfortunately. It's 6 months for a wait right now average. He can do the paperwork when he is home, and next time he comes home, he can pick it up if the paperwork is approved or he can assembly it. Depending how it all works out for him and when it gets approved. But, be advised, there is legal complications If its done as an individual and he leaves the gun with you. It might be best for him to put the gun in a trust and you on the trust so you also can have access to it and store it for him with no worries legally. Re-read what you said. If he owns it, and will be attaching the stock or putting a shorter barrel on it, then it's a form 1. It needs to be completed and signed off on by the cheif LEO or sheriff In the town he has an address in, like registered living address. Every time he transports it out of state to visit, or whatever vacation he's going on with it, he has to fill out a sheet of paper listing dates it's out of state, where its going, who's transporting it, and needs about 3 weeks to get approved by the ATF. Has to be approved to transport. Welcome to the uber crappy rules of class III...
22. I have a g model for sale if your interested. It's a 96g.
