2. I cheat. My best friends a FFL dealer and I use his account freely. So it's all berrys plated because they just got a crap ton in. All that for under $700 including $50 worth of shipping :) all those are 1,000 round boxes but the .45 which is 500 count.
3. Well, I figured it was time for more bullets. Didn't want to run my stock pile down and dip into my reserves. So, I ordered a "couple" boxes. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Should keep me busy for at least 2 days. :D
4. Good choices in all of them!
5. China is also with Russian and backing Syria. China also said dont do it to us.
6. Didn't know his level of knowledge. Figured he meant mid length so I tried to make it easy to understand. Thanks for the proper terms and correcting it.
7. It's longer than carbine and shorter than standard/full length
8. I think this is the 3rd time this has been posted?...
9. Well... Mines easy.   I served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 2/503, Battle Company during OEF VII-VIII.   Hence: 173rdabn. Which I have more pride for any almost anything else.
10. Does it really matter what your font size is.... If you need it larger, go for it. I mean come on, is it really that bad someone had to b$t!h about it?....
11. Not many people like to give up there complete load data. Could work in their guns and not yours A general starting point is what people are trying to get at here if I'm not mistaken. At least that's how I feel.
12. i lost a buffer retainer in my man cave, still cant find it, just flew out somewhere. ive searched high and lower for it repeatedly. months later, still nothing.
13. Box cutter blades work amazing. I use my pocket knife as well. Couldn't even tell you how many I've build doing that
14. I had the same issue with my Tac Ops and reloads. Got a Lee factory crimp die, gave it a decent crimp, and had ZERO jams since. Completely fixed it with a crimp.    Using 6gr Unique with Berry's plated 230 RN, mixed brass and tula or cci primers.

yeah, everyone is running PEQ15's that i used to run with now. things have a couple good secret things to them. really wish we had them back in my day. and the new thermal monocular thats replacing the PVS14's is the $hI7 as well. Got to play with one right before they got issued at a little preview of our new gear they were about to give us about a month before i left italy.

Ugh don't even get me started with backwards optics and retardation with POGs and even some infantry units. Let alone the national guard I've seen..... How can people not train their Joe's properly, let alone themselves, or even read the TM on the stupid things. That's just blue falcon material right there. In my unit we had the choice of optics, and people could use their own. 99% of us ran ACOGs TA01NSN mostly but some took some TA11s or 31s. The M68 was a total joke to us so we ditched them like a hot potato. On our m21s we usually ran leupolds m3 or m3a's unless you wanted to run a ACOG, which again was preference. On our belt fed guns we always used M145s. We always had long distance engagements accept for a couple handfuls of close ambush stuff. Nothing major, but still something I'd rather have an ACOG for. There was one guy that ran an Eotech he personally owned, and a couple that ran Leupold mk4 CQT's. you might have seen a random other optic, but that's the vast majority out of my company. Oh, Barrett's got mk4 LRTs and 110s got m3a's. Furniture wise, stocks could be whatever you wanted, only thing you couldn't do was take the gun apart to add stuff. So anything snap on was good to go. Not many uses pistol grips, some used bi-pods, everyone used a PEQ2, that's about it. Like others have said, that's all unit to unit stuff. I have a nasty girl friend that wasn't allowed to use his own optic or even touch his rifle in any way but how he got it.
17. Same. I watch it at work a lot to keep up with events what don't get pushed down the intel chain to us.

19. hah nah. i traded my ridiculous diesel excursion for the truck a couple years back. wife fell out of it on her face twice. she had enough of that, so, i had to get a smaller truck. i do miss the power of the diesel though...
20. So, are you all ready to have your mind BLOWN?! Back in November of 2007, my platoons first patrol to Marastana we found his helmet, pack, and other stuff. Remember what he wrote in the book about what he took on that mission? Small world eh? I should probably mention we knew it was his because his name was written inside his helmet. Yes, we sent it back to the Navy, whom gave it back to him. Obliviously only the helmet.
21. Great parts selection. I really like it.
