  1. Good to know!   talked to the nashville office today (number on the website listed above) and she told me what I needed to do.
  2. So, I've been carrying with my MN out of state permit which reciprocity works and is perfectly legal here. That being said, it ends this year. What do I have to do to get a permit here.   I have a current DoS qualification card, and DD214 within 5 years, so from what I understand I dont need to take a class and can just use that and get a permit.   Can someone verify this, and then tell me what I need to do to get a permit here in TN please.
  3. I have it on now, watching "Greatest tank battles". Its usually on when the wife isn't home. Good channel. Lots of cheesy weapon stuff… but good info for sure.
  4. Hey mike, same guy signed off on my can from you. Looks like I'll have to redue my last 3 cans I sent in. SOAB! Oh well... My own mistake.
  5. Got a call today saying my forms need to be resigned. My own fault.   Had the deputy chief sheriff sign thinking it was ok. NOPE.    Going to get them resigned and sent back ASAP.    Good news is, once they get back to the ATF I wont loose my spot in line and they should get mailed back within 30 days approved.
  6. Even our medics asked for 203's for the bottom of their guns just to be more effective in a fire fight. Makes perfect sense, and we sure as heck gave them to them. It's really not uncommon in higher tier elements to do stuff like that. It's all METTTC and what the mission needs.
  7. Dolomite got that one right! Man this guys a complete idiot. Way to throw yourself under the bus, turd.
  8. Good to have a fellow sky soldier here!
  9. What about their $289 upper shipped with bcg and ch? How crazy cheap is that?!? Complete upper for $289 to your door... I don't need one because I'm trying to sell 2 lowers but might get 2 just for the lowers to sell as complete guns. Haha. Just because!
  10. I'm surprised not many people have chimed in here. Figured more would have at least a little gear
  11. Almost always clear in the summer. Very little clouds. When it was cloudy it would last 2 days roughly.
  12. I had an iridium in Afghanistan my first deployment. Was flawless and I loved it. Just hated how expensive minutes were. Also to add, battery life was 3-4 days sitting around without me using it.
  13. Yeah surefire really makes a much better QD system hands down. That's for sure. But it is what it is. Nothing wrong with AAC either.
  14. Mike Dresner. Lawenforcementsales. He's in oak ridge. Highly recommended.
  15. Not sure about pistol barrels but sometimes rifle barrels can be noticeably hotter than others. Last Saturday we had this issue with a savage bolt gun and couldn't figure out why it was 150fps hotter than everyone else's guns. If it's the same for pistol barrels, maybe you just got a abnormally fast barrel?
  16. He was more than a corpsman. He also went to sniper school.
  17. Sure looked like a mark 12 mod 0 to me... Didn't see anything wrong with it....
  18. AAC 762 SDN6. And it will work with 308 and lower calibers. IE: 308, 300 blackout, 6.8, 556, just name it. As for dealer, Mike Dresener. Lawenforcementsales is his name on here. Hands down, recommend him, no questions asked.
  19. Holy crap batman that's impressive flying
  20. I smoke mainly Tabak Especials. Coffee infused and amazingly good. I have a hard time smoking anything else because I feel so spoiled with those. Worth a shot if you have never had one gentlemen. The wife and I quit smoking April 1st 2009 when I moved her to Mn. She was at a half a pack a day and I was at 2 packs a day or lucky strike non filters and a can of dip. It was bad. But, what else do you do but smoke when deployed. Such is life. Best thing I've ever done is quit smoking cold turkey.
  21. Disabled and retired vets are being docked 1% in pay to save money, yes. But top brass is exempt and actually makes more money when they retire. Go figure, huh?
