It doesn't just snap in. It also has to be tightened with a screw. I've done two builds with Noveske NSR rails and they are amazingly light and the attachments are rock solid and very easy to move and use. 

I'm only at 43.5 grs RL15. I have some to play with still. The quality of the barrel really helps as well. I mean I'm getting 2525FPS out of a 16", so getting to 2600 shouldn't be to hard theoretically with the same load, maybe a little hotter. My 18" barrel gets to 2300 FPS with that load. Funny how a quality barrel can really make a difference.    FWIW, I have shot 45 grs RL15 so far. Little sticky with some flat primers. Wouldn't really like to shoot those again to say the least. But, I didn't get pressure signs tell 44.5gr and that was 1 in the 5 I shot. So, I'm confident I have another grain to play with before I cant go any further. 

Lane 4 had a 700 with AICS chambered in 223 shooting 80 or 85 grain bullets. I can't remember. He was the second shooter I believe though.

Yeah, when one comes back in the mail… I have a quick attach can for the 16" barrel that mates to it (designed for the barrel) that I'm waiting on. But I also have a SDN6 that should be here shortly. So, It'll at least have a can on it whether it be the can designed for the short barrel or the SDN6. Oh, it'll be more than OK at 600 yards. It's perfect for that. I've been running a Dillon for years and years now. And I have to say, their products are amazing. I've had 2 things happen to my press, both super minor, and the press still being operational when the faults happened. Both times I called their customer service and told them what was going on, and they just say every time "we'll get a replacement part right out to you!" Free of charge, I don't even have to pay shipping!   I have to say, I just love Dillon's customer service. This is how the industry should be. They are hands down always going to have me as a loyal customer.    I mean come on… next month alone I have 21,000 bullets coming in and I'll be loading that up in my spare time in Feb alone. This press has a serious round count to say the least. And it just keeps on running like a tank.   Dillon, you guys have some amazing products and even better customer service!   Now, if I could just find another one….. can never have to many!

Horrible.    Never use a 16" barrel at a 1,000.   Shoots lights out at 500 hands down. But I just don't have the velocity at 1,000. I'm only at 2525 FPS. She's yawing and tumbling trying to really stretch herself to 1,000.   Lets just say, the 20" barrel is going on before I head to another match. No matter what.

They still go to different places. West Virginia for form 1s and corrections to include form 4s and Atlanta for form 4s. Weird how they want you to send corrections to West Virginia though.... I was so confused I called the other day making sure it's the correct place to send them. And it was.

because its a branch of the government. duhhhhhhh.

I'd imagine if I didn't have an error it would be mailed back approved right around now. So, you might want to call and check, or just hope for the best because you should be getting it within a month I'd imagine.

So, I got my form 4 back like I mentioned in another thread. Deputy sheriff apparently can't sign off unless he states on the form he has permission to. Which he did, and it was some simple ATF nit picky crap they like to pull. So, heres my breakdown. Lets see how long it takes me to get it now.   Mailed the form: June 21st   Pending: July 25th   Paperwork issue date states: Jan 14th   The Outpost called me to tell me the issue and ship my form back to me on: Jan 21th   I got it to my mailbox on: Jan 23rd   Resigned by sheriff: Jan 23rd   Approved: March 26th 2014

From what I understand K baffles aren't that great for higher pressure rounds like the 223-308 family. Why not M baffles? Or step cones?

I've been running a ADM recon 20moa for 2 years now on my 308 MATEN. I just changed it over to my Accuracy International. I have zero complaint what so ever about this mount. Worth every penny to me. and I need another as well for my MATEN again to keep this current one on my AI.
