Well, this was my first steel match. And the first time I had ever been to MSTC's range. Was really nice to say the least! I'm extremely happy with how today went. Great group of people that were there today, and great set of stages. For my first experience there, all I can say is I'll definitely be going back! Here are some videos of the match. A good buddy and myself rode up together and got to shoot together which was awesome. He is giving me a hard time, like we usually do to each other. So, don't mind him…. I sure don't! Haha. In this first video I had a hard time getting the right front plate to go down. So I just said screw it and made sure it went down. Sounds like someone thought it was overkill. But…my little 9mm sure didn't seem to like that plate at all, so screw it!

Takes about 3,000 reps to make it muscle memory on average. Better get to work :) In all seriousness, dry firing, and drawing with good technique are an amazing way to get much, much better.

I'm using win primers from the 60's my grandpa left me. Zero issues so far. Not even a bad primer.

They still use the same gearbox. Nothing's changed in those models. They are still for sale exactly as they were back then. I used to play in between the barracks in a construction area with a bunch of guys in my company. That was 8 years ago. And before the army I was a major nerd with airsoft going to state games and such in MN. I had a lot of fun doing it. But, alas, now the neighbor kids are into it and I still remember how to fix them for the kids when they break. Nothing's different about those older models, but the new ones have built in recoil devices so you can feel the effects of recoil and what not. It's nuts how they have come along in that sense. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AdvanceSearchResult?paging=&search=true&submit2=&subCateChange=true&mainCateChange=true&showOnlyChange=&productname=&productcode=&menu1=&menu2=&price1=null&price2=null&power1=null&power2=null&brandId=34&orderby=status&ordering=1&special=%0D%0A&buy=&from=&showImage=1&gallery=1&byCategory=null&pageIndex=1&sortNameFilter=&sorting=statusAsc&mainCatFilter=&subCatFilter=159&showImage1=1&gallery1=1&pageIndex2=1

If you in knoxville head over to LES (mike dresner) in oak ridge. he can get it out and re-thread it and set you up good.

what about vice locks? Clamp them on and unsrew it. No need for drilling.

LR is M118LR brass. (Long Range). Who knows what the other LC11 stuff was shot in. Could have been a 48/240 or a SCAR or something else. Just never know with mil brass. The LR stuff is great though. Let me know if you dont want it :)

Seeking a list of rather common rifle powders

for 308 and 30-06 I use 4064 and RL15. And those are usually found in abundance. Well, at least 4064 has been lately. -
NiB does discolor relatively fast. But so what. Its just the color. Still smooth, and easy to clean. Rather have a gun that shows I use it like a gun, than something that's still clean. :) NiB needs a little less lube as well. But, like all BCG's, its still smart to lube it. If you've ever held one you'd be able to feel the natural lubricated feeling of the coating. Always nice and slick. I run them, and love them. Chrome also has its benefits (and yes it doesn't discolor like NiB), but I'll stick with my NiB in the end.

19,000 rounds... Makes me want a bullet feeder. Who has one?

I used a rock chucker for 6 years when I started reloading. I feel your pain. I couldnt take it anymore with the volume I shoot. So I was forced to upgrade. And then again, because I just shot more. In a couple years I feel I'll have a 1050. ha -

Yeah business is good, when you have record sales and boost production to unseen level, and have no intention of slowing down because you still have a higher demand than you can produce! haha. -

thats exactly what i was looking for as to a response. I've heard of people converting the RCBS and hornady feeders but wasn't sure on real world opinion. not just some nut on youtube. Glad to know the RCBS is finicky like that. So i'll stay away from that one. Id rather get something that is very reliable and spend a little extra money. that being said, Mr bullet feeders are nice, but very expensive for conversions per caliber. -

No, I want a bullet feeder with that whine. Better yet, a recommendation of what others like, or dislike of the ones they are currently using or have used in the pass.
