  1. Pending July 29th. Approved march 25th. Got it today.
  2. Look at that. Mine came today. Got a call at 9:30 this morning. Already been to the range to shoot it. July 29th pending. March 25th approval.
  3. Has anyone used this load in 308 Win?   I always shoot 175 SMK's, but got 1,000 178 AMAX to try out. I have AA4064 (not IMR) (shorter sticks, meters easier).    Does anyone have any load data they use similar to mine?   Not looking for anyones Varget, RL15 or anything else load. Looking for particular data resembling what I'm using. IMR4064 data is fine, and should be within .01 grains of what I'm looking for.    I did make some test loads. Seated .010 (measured and seated off the ogive) off of my lands in my 20" Accuracy International.    41.8 42.1 42.4 42.7 43.0 43.3 43.6 43.9 44.2 44.6   So, whats worked good for everyone out there?
  4. I'm all about Tapco mags in mines. Only had one jam in the last 2 tins I've shot. And it was the case the got stuck in the chamber after being fired, I'll contribute that to a bad round. Mags are mags to me. If they work, they work.    My AK74 is on a NodakSpud receiver. Made by CAI. It's solid as heck, and I love it. Cost me $400 even back in 2012.
  5. Well I had a form 4 go pending July 19th. Hopefully it comes back soon!
  6. Yet. They will be sooner or later. It'll just take years. I'm a big fan of the keymod. Way less weight. Like 6.8 said you don't have all that unused rail space anymore.
  7. You don't need a lot of crimp. Correct. But you should get some. I try to set my stuff at 1.495 OAL. It might vary .005. I'm not to worried about it. Such is life. Try .2 variations on powder. .1 is kinda silly to me unless your working off your barrel node and all that shnazzy stuff and completely refining a round tell it's perfect. 3.8-4.0-4.2-4.4-4.6. Try those.
  8. Seating depth makes a massive difference in 9mm with pressure. Not much case volume so the second you start seating shorter account for that and knock off a tenth of a grain or so. Just a reference of where to start.
  9. You'll always have to reset your seating die for different type bullets and weights. Lengths will be different causing them to seat at different lengths in the same pre set die. And a HP you want to load a little shorter. Like 1.12 or so.
  10. Mega machine makes some extremely good quality stuff. Pretty innovative as well. Ambi built in controls. Built in set screw to combat receiver rattle. Their billet stuff is freakin nice. Which usually has all that extra stuff on it. No roll pin for the bolt catch. It's a set screw. It's the little things that make the difference. Like said above. You can use all types of 308 parts. That's in a category all by itself. And using an ar15 trigger in a 308 lower makes for endless options. Compared to let's say an armalite. Also the lowers take all the mags out there.
  11. Plated should be between Lead and Jacketed. With berrys plated and knowing how fast they are going, I wouldn't worry about plating coming apart or anything like that from to hot of loads. Your way under the 1250 recommended max. And that's just the recommended. I've shot them a little faster from my mp5's and haven't seen any issues yet. As for a glock barrel, I've ran an couple thousand at the least through a couple glocks and I've yet to see an issue with the poly rifling and plated bullets.
  12. I'm using 4.4gr. Mixed brass. 1.145 OAL. 115gr RN berrys plated. Lee factory crimp. Use at your own risk. I wouldn't do 3.3. That's well below my min data I've used/tested. I started at 3.8 and went to 4.6.
  13. I see those signs change numbers all the time.    892 in 2012. then 971 in 2012 a month later. Who knows where they get their numbers but obviously they cant figure out what they really are.
  14. You'll like it 6.8. I can give you my data sheets from my work ups. Good place to start.
  15. Good! Because I've been a horrible friend and keep meaning to mail you something but have a memory of... Well a dead guy. Because I crank remember crap.
  16. Your hoarding all the AA#5 I want 6.8..... :)
  17. I've used about all of then now. Shortage has really made me expand my horizons on what I'm loading with. Unique to me is still my favorite. 700x lately has give me good results in 9mm and 45 Longshot is a new favorite in .40 Bullseye was amazing in 9mm for me Titegroups been less than impressive in 9 and 45. I'm not really liking it. But it's working good in subsonic 308 and 223. 7625 as also been pretty good. I not impressed but I'm happier with it than Titegroup. That's just a couple I've used over the last 2 months because it's all I've found. Like others have said. Whatever you find just use it to your likening. Keep trying new stuff and making new loads. You'll find a powder you love for all calibers. Then probably won't be able to find it again. Haha. It sucks it's hard to get pistol powder right now. But such is life. Makes it more fun to work up new loads and try new things.
  18. Feels like 90 to me. I'm in a tshirt most days. I'm from Minnesota. This weather is nothing. If your complaining about the cold, your wrong. There's much worse weather up north right now. Be happy with what you have.
  19. You know you want to build one anyways.... :) just get an mp5 and be done with it! I know you want one. And it was an mp5 .40 that I shot him in the chest with........ Even better right?!?!?! But hey, David has that gun now. So at least it stayed local. Hah And Incase anyone questions that story, or how safe I am, I didn't literally shoot him in the chest. It's a funny story for another time. Even got some good pictures to go with it!
  20. No, that was Zach. My gallatin cop buddy. If Blaise was there, and steel was involved, and I was shooting, I'm sure he would have brought his armor..... Hhahahaha I'm not sure if I want to tell that story.... I'll show up to the next match and I'll be the only one in my squad. No one will want to shoot with me..... Hahaha
  21. If you want a knights rail new in box for a M16A4, message me. It'll be worth your time. :)
  22. If you don't want it, I'd be happy to take it off your hands if your giving it away. I have two MP5's that I'm sure would love it :)
