1. I'm hoping it'll improve my F/TR scores a litttttle bit at least making my ammo just that much more consistent. This is my first time annealing, and have yet to bring ammo to the range and compare side by side if I notice a difference.
2. Oh he's already texting and asking for a full review. haha.   Most this brass sitting here is going to Blaise or my neighbors so I've been trying to crank out as much as I can. It's kind of slow, but that doesn't bother me. I've done about 2-3 thousand so far. You know he's got one on order right??? Don't tell his wife! hahaha
3. I don't feel like buying more 223 brass if I don't need to. I have about 10,000 pieces sitting here, and a lot loaded as well. I see no reason to not stretch the life of the brass out 2-3 times the life it gets if its not annealed. At about $70 per 1,000 that adds up fast when you have to keep getting more and cycle through it. Just an unneeded expense to reloading. I figure this annealer will pay for itself by extending my brass life, and also help me with my match grade ammo. Figure it was worth the money.
4. I just got a new Giraurd annealer, and like it so far. Just curious who else anneals. I use Tempilaq paint to get the heat set right, and it works perfect.
5. Sounds like curriers to me as well. Surpried there was only a single Tahoe. Musta been waste and nothing important.
6. Silly glock fanboys.... I've had a glock break in Afghanistan on me as well as my team leaders a week prior to mine. And my brand new glock 19 has a bad issue with the slide going all the way forward, which as of right now won't let me run suppressed. But I am determined to fix it and make it work.
7. I had two bad malfunctions on stage one as well. Even got it on camera. Told ya, practice makes perfect :) try and beat that time with two stove pipes and a reload. Haha. I'll take second on stage one with that for sure.
8. Practice makes perfect! I beat Blaise on stage one. And scored about the same on accuracy overall. But man, a double feed every 5-7 rounds, and the spent case literally being a pain in the arse to rip off the bolt head because the extractor wedged the brass inside itself.. Hey, it's just time, and good practice!
9. One of the first things you should do when getting a new phone these days. TURN THAT GEOTAG CRAP OFF!

Been out for a while. Lots issued so far. Even agencies outside DoD have them now. It's just a replacement to hold everyone over tell the next best thing comes along.
11. I separate my large and small primers and just bring one type to the range and keep them separated when i bring the brass home I shot that day. Absolutely nothing wrong with SPP .45 ACP. Honestly I'd rather have all SPP brass so I could just keep one type of pistol primer on hand and not try and find yet another kind of primer. Loading 9mm, 40 S&W and .45 ACP would be a lot easier if they were all the same, so I wouldn't have to change my press over to accept different size primers as well.
12. I use 30 cal cans like they are going out of style. I can only fit 640 45 ACP in one, 1000 9mm, 650 223, 800 40 s&w and have yet to count my 308 in one. But 300 sounds about right. Not sure how this guy is getting 1200 9mm in one... I have to compress mine pretty bad to get 1000 in there.
13. Reloading is the way to go. I'm loading 147gr M80's for my plinking ammo and I'm right at .20 cents a round. No way could I afford to shoot at $1.00+ a round.
14. Sumner gun and supply is a good indoor range that allows 308's. I know its only 25 yards and indoors, but there isn't anywhere else to shoot near Gallatin unless your a GGC member or know someone with private land.
15. If your slow Mark, and still beat me….   Now I just want to cry myself to sleep...
16. Thats what happens when you make what you have known to the public.
17.   I have ADT and have never had an issue with them. Once in a while I'll be loading at night and the house alarm will. There is a glass break sensor in my man cave, if my case feeder makes to much noise or I even shut a drawer to hard the sensor goes off and within 30 seconds my phone rings. They have never missed a beat calling me when something happens.
18. Moving here from Minnesota sucked. Couple trips with the truck and trailer, then a final trip to bring the boat, car and truck down.... To much driving let alone unpacking it all...
19. I have a monolithic MATEN 308 I built a couple years ago. I love mega stuff. Amazing quality. You won't be disappointed. There is a thread on here as well about mega builds. Lots of users here have them.
20. It's a great set up for sure. Makes life super simple. I use the trimmer for 308 and 223 as well. So I justified it that way.
21. I use my dillon xl650 with redding dies 1st stage is a universal decapping die. 2 is a neck sizing die with no rob in it so it just forms the outside or the brass. I found this easier on that die then the trim die. 3 is empty 4 is a ch4d trim die with dillon rt1200 trimmer 5 is empty Single pass cuts them down. With a case feeder I can cut about 1200-1500 an hour. Just depends how fast I want to pull the handle. I used to cut the necks off on my band saw first to help my trimmer out a little. But honestly the trimmer is doing just fine cutting it all in smaller portions. I'll do a couple hundred then do something else for a bit and come back and do more after the trimmers cooled back down. It just saves time over chopping the necks off first. July 1st dillon releases the rt1500 trimmer which is the upgrade to the rt1200. Three times the bearings and designed to do 300 blackout in a single pass. I'll be picking one up for sure.
22. Its a great scape goat. Everyone knows it's name now, just like the AK. Gets a lot more attention. Easier for the media to redact their original comments than be late to the game and never have covered the story at all.
