  1. I run a SD3G. I wouldnt pick anything else. It's an absolutely amazing trigger.
  2. I shot well over that today at GGC with Dmark... Silly people and their silly journalism.
  3. Well, looks like a good time to order.... I could use 10k more of everything :)
  4. Mike...like you load your own ammo to shoot subsonic... Hahaha. I shot the SAS covert wet the other day... Holy smokes... Movie quiet. And I have some 556 subs that'll blow your mind, but won't cycle the gun. Tomorrow I'll work on uploading some videos of shooting suppressed. I did a comparison the other day with my osprey 45 on my 1911 next to my 8.5 300/221 with 208 subs and that was interesting. I have a bunch of stuff I can show ya. I just need to work on uploading it
  5. I get home Friday. Then I am free to shoot Saturday tell... The foreseeable future. Someone just name a time and place.
  6. I run my 8.5" 300 whisper with super and subsonic loads. It's good for it.
  7. I have an sdn6 you can try. We are both in Hendersonville. It's not a silencerco. Buts it's a 30 cal can and close.
  8. Dude better not have brought a slide fire stock!
  9. Just some pics from the night. And of course, 1AM Taco Bell run on our way back to my place and Ryan passed out in the middle seat. Hahaha
  10. Thanks everyone that showed up. Glad I didn't have to talk much, because I hate public speaking. Ha.
  11. Form 4 pending Jan, approved July. 10 months from date of submission.
  12. When I lived in MN it was a $25 fine if you didn't leave when asked to by a store employee that had a sign posted at their store. So, you leave, no fine.. Don't leave, $25 fine.
  13. Hell, more power to them. Let them keep the guns and what not.
  14. Not yet. It showed for the first time in NY in May. It's moving it's way around the country then I am sure it'll be on DVD.
  15. Anyone here interested in going? It's shows at 7pm at the Belcourt in Nashville. Friday night myself and a couple Battle guys (we all served in Battle Company in the Korengal together) are all doing Q&A's after on the stage for anyone with questions. Saturday... No clue who those guys are. But they were not apart of the 173rd, so Friday is guys that are actually in the movie who can answer your questions. Hope to see some of you guys there!
  16. That's the way to do it! That would last me 6 months... Hahah
  17. 308 is on the lower end of the spectrum. $170 per 1k is reasonable. I just picked up 1k LC12 from gunbroker for $168 shipped.
  18. You know, I even saved his brass for the last f/tr so I could match prep it for him and give it back hoping it would perseade him to load it... Heck, the hard work is done...
  19. What I have found: 9mm - $25-30 40 s&w - $20 (police caliber so very abundant) but also like $40 online or slightly more 45 ACP - $60-70 223 - $70 308 - $170-a crap ton... Depends on the make if brass. Is it PPU or Lapua?
  20. Are you bumping your shoulders back far enough when full length sizing your freshly made brass? I had that issue with my 300 whisper when I first started loading, and checking my shoulder bump fixed it up in a heart beat. Also, for the bolt, what is your load data? Barrel length and twist? And have you chronod? Also, try and not use the bolt release.... Use the charging handle to release the bolt by pulling it back all the way. The extra small amount of force could be all you need.
  21. That sucks you get extra attention. I've never gotten more than a second glance. No one has ever even bothered to look like they care one bit I'm checking a gun.
  22. I fly with guns all the time. Recently I took my Accuracy International to NM in a massive pelican case. Just check it at the desk normally where you check normal bags, they give you a card to fill out, make sure the guns clear, and it goes onto the plane like normal. A pistol is the same way, only difference is a pistol is in your checked baggage and comes out the carousel, where a hard case thats stand alone goes to the over sided baggage claim and you need to show your ID to get it.   Its a painless and effortless experience in all honesty.   Forgot to mention. Pistols needs to be in locked case inside your baggage. Stand alone case (Pelican style) also needs a minimum of two locks, and those locks need to be airline approved. The packages the locks come in have the airplane insignia on them to show they are airline approved.    Also, you can only carry 11 pounds of ammo in a checked bag. It must be in original packaging or something like a plastic storage cased that a reloader would use.
  23. Hell, as long as it extends my brass life I'll be happy as well. Even if it doesn't improve my groupings. I have a lot of time invested in my brass, turning necks on 1,000 pieces, chamfering flash holes and reaming primer pockets.
