  1. They look nice, but because of the kick, I can honestly say I have no desire to own one. Congrats though. Glad you like it.
  2. I'm assuming you mean cheaply made and not inexpensive. If so, I'd agree after seeing one fall apart at the gun range. For the money of the Taurus, you can buy a RI or maybe even a STI Spartan, or come close to it.
  3. +1
  4. Had a Kahr CW45 and traded it for a Glock 30. The Glock 36 is a little slimmer than the G30, but I don't know how much. As far as reliability and shootability, I would think the Glock would be as good as or better than the Kahr. My CW45 was flawless, but the trigger pull was longer than the Glock. As already stated, both are good guns. I don't know anything about the Taurus.
  5. STI Spartan in 9mm. Then, Glock 34.

    Para GI Expert

I have read that the "paracoat" finish is not as good as stainless steel.

It's a good looking gun. Here's a youtube review of it. YouTube - mixflip's Channel
  8. Form an "H" or a "U" with 3 strips of thin metal and hang a couple Adel clamps off the two ends that stick out from under the mattress.
  9. You could make one of those with 3 metal strips, a few screws and nuts and 2 rubber padded Adel clamps. But, if you want to pay me $25 to put these things together for you, send me your money. LOL!
  10. Yep. IWB Crossbreed so I'm hoping it fits. Will report back with good results in a couple days I hope.
  11. Went to the Saddle Shop in Triune Friday and got fiited for a belt. I was wearing a 5.11 nylon belt (Wilderness Style) so the guy's wife was trying to measure me for a new belt using a tape mark on the one I was wearing. I have a feeling there will be an issue with the length because I wear a 38 inch waist in pans, but she is making the center hole on the belt at 43 inches. I guess more holes can be added and additional leather can be removed if it's not a perfect fit. We'll see.
  12. It's advertised as a 19 gun safe, but I guess it depends on what kinds of long guns you're putting in it. If you have optics and mags that take up more room, obviously it won't hold as many.
  13. That's beautiful man.
  14. This is my low budget safe. Under $400 at Dick's on sale.

    A-team

I have a feeling the movie will be a big letdown. Nobody can take Mr.T's place. Anybody can scheme a plan, look like a pretty boy, or act like a crazy person, but there's only one Mr.T

    A-team

Don't get me wrong, I still watch the re-runs, but it does seem very cheesy. It's kinda like watching the Adam West as Batman show. Entertaining, but cheesy.

    A-team

As a kid in the 80's, I really liked watching the A-team. Now, as an adult, it's kinda cheesy. The shootouts are horrible. All the "automatic" rifle fire and nobody gets hit, not even the bad guys. They occasionally blow out tires, but they waste alot of ammo with few results. What do you think?

    What is it worth?

What generation? Does it have a standard Glock rail and finger grooves? If so, with 3 mags, I'd say $500 seems about right. If older, I'd say $450-$475.

    S.R.P

    Very nice. I'm jealous.
  20. I bought a Stack On 19 gun safe at Dicks for about $340 on sale. Watch their sales. It's a great low budget safe. It's bolted to the floor and the wall. For the money, you can't beat it.
  21. I really like them. I have them on my Glock 21 and on my Glock 26. I also had them on a Glock 30 I just sold. I bought them from Lonewolf Distributers for $108 after shipping. They are easy to install. Really easy if you know someone with a sight pusher. I like them and think they are great combat sights for fast sight picture acquisition. If you practice as much as Yeager, you probably can be deadly accurate at long distances, but for average folks like myself, I find center body mass at 15 yds sufficient for my needs. To the OP, if you buy the ammo and pay for my range cover charge, I could probably meet you up at ASP in Joelton and let you shoot mine. Send me a PM if interested.
  22. So you want a small size frame and large caliber? If so, maybe the Glock 27 is what you're looking for. I carry a Glock 26 in 9mm and enjoy shooting it at the range. It carries very well. You can pocket, IWB, OWB, shoulder, ankle, or appendix carry it, and most of the time not notice it. It's completely trustworthy. I've not had any failures with the gun. That's my opinion. Take it or leave it. Good luck on your choice.
  23. The weather is supposed to be beautiful and I'm taking a vacation day and going to the range for a while. If anybody wants to meet up, give me a shout.
  24. The larger surface of the regular Supertuck is to distribute the weight of a larger pistol better. The minituck probably wouldn't distribute the weight of a heavy Ruger, Sig, or 1911 as well as a Supertuck. However, I wonder if my Glock 26 would fit in a minituck.
