  1. David, you didn't tell us how much to expect that clever holstering device to cost. It being kydex, I'll have to make sure and keep it away from my tree stump and hair dryer.
  2. Hero Gear had other styles of TGO shirts (button up, polo,ect...) As for me, I go XL or 2XL for extra room.

    My Kahr=crap

At least unlike Taurus, they do have good customer service.
  4. Loki, did y'all ever get that Saiga shooting dead center with that side mount scope?
  5. I went to Cheatham County range last Sunday and it sucked. The pistol area was small. There was only one table for I think 4 shooters to share. You could not shoot closer than the 15 yd targets unless you bring your own target stand. All the targets were shot to pieces. No trash cans, so trash scattered all over the range. The rifle benches were BYOC (Bring your own chair). It really sucked. I won't be going back.

I like the fact that the holster is sufficient in that it covers the trigger and holds the weapon tight against my side with the correct cant for my preference. I like the minimal holster. I have alot of confidence in the tennifer coating on the Glock exterior. I don't think it will be hurt by the exposed barrel. We'll see.
  7. +1 here too.
  8. Do you not clean your weapon after practicing and before carrying it with dress khakis? I like very little holster, but I guess that's just me. I clean my guns after I shoot them. If the barrel hangs below the holster, so be it. It's a Glock. It has that indestructable tennifer coating. I bought a new G&G OWB rig for my 21 today. You'll have to check out the pics in my holster thread in the accessories forum when I post it.
  9. I've always heard crow is a dish best served cold. Is that true? Again, congrats on the Glock and holster remold. That also solved your problem of finding a holster to accomodate the P rail. Now, I just have to find you a VEPR K...
  10. Hero Gear has the best selection of 1911's both fullsize and compact in the Middle TN area. Check them out. They have great prices as well.
  11. Hey, nice weapon. I've never thought of myself as a messenger from God before, but I'll take that as a compliment. It's better than the alternative. () I sure hope you like that sweet shooting G21SF. It was my Jedi mind trick that sent you out to buy it though. Congrats and enjoy.
  12. I always carry keys, wallet, & cell phone in my pocket. I'm not Batman with a utility gadget belt. I don't carry a flashlight on my belt unless I'm at work. I would rather carry a BUG instead of a spare mag. My BUG, if I needed to carry one, would be my G30. Normally, that wouldn't even be necessary. I may occasionally go to New Orleans, St. Louis, or Memphis though.
  13. I didn't like the range nazis at Stones River. It was too much controlled. Not my kind of place. JMHO. Mark, they don't charge to shoot at the Cheatham County range, but if TWRA catches you shooting there without the $5.50 permit, it will be bad.
  14. My favorite AK variant is my VEPR K carbine made by Yiatski Polyany in Russia and imported by Robinson Arms. It is the Cadillac of AK's.
  15. I'm considering buying a weak side holster for carrying a BUG. I can't carry it IWB as my primary strong side holster is already IWB and my WB doesn't have enough room already so I can assure you that an additional one will not fit. I'm thinking like a Bianchi minimalist OWB rig maybe. I like the strong side minimalist that I carry my J frame S&W in. I'm thinking about a weak side one for my G30. Any input or ideas? Thanks.
  16. Very nice looking weapon. I'm jealous.

    My new addition

I have a very good memory, but we're good though.
  18. I'd like to find out and let you know.
  19. I was thinking about the Cheatham county range. I'm gonna go check it out this weekend. I'll let you know what I think about it after we shoot. It is open to the public and $5.50/day. Day permits can be obtained at Wal-Mart in the Sporting goods dept.
  20. Broknbonz, That thing looks terrible. It looks like it would be more trouble than it's worth to cut it down. You can buy a Crossbreed for like $7 more I believe. As for the MTAC, your welcome to try mine for a week or so and see if you like it. If you like it, I'll sell it to you. It's practically brand new. I'll even throw in a pack of Smarties. You won't even have to wait for it to come in the mail like everybody else does.
  21. I want a 1911 something fierce, but with the current administration and their agenda, I went with the G21 for now instead of the 1911. I will have a 1911, but for now, I wanted to get a G21 while I still can. They are known for being extremely durable and always going bang when you pull the trigger. I like the 27 rd capacity also. I will have a 1911 sometime. They've been available since what 1911?, so I don't guess they're going away anytime soon.
  22. Because all the cool kids have them. And the really cool kids have the ones that say "made in Russia.";) BTW, They can be EBR's.

    My new addition

I expect to have a little more control with the G21 than the compact G30. We'll see. I can't wait. I'm off tommorrow, so I plan to hit the range and try it out.
  24. I got no ass, but I hold the top of my pants, so they don't fall down. Keep practicing rookie. Good luck. BTW I'm carrying a fullsize G21 in a Crossbreed Supertuck.

http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=277506622/PictureID=6984767508/a=76854059_76854059/otsc=SHR/otsi=SPIClink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish My newest member of the family is my Glock 21. I decided like so many of you say, "One Glock gets lonely, so why not buy another?" And besides, my G30 needed a big brother to look up to. I like the feel of the gun. I like the weight of the front end. I like that the libs hate my capability to hold 13+1, (btw, that's 27 rds of 45 auto if I carry the spare mag.) And last, but not least, I like the fact that my "substandard" Crossbreed Supertuck holster facilitates the 21 as well as it does the the G30. My MTAC would have required another kydex body. More money. Anyhow, the is flowing at my house. I'll report back after I get to shoot it.
