  1. Pelican cases big enought to hold the rifle are airline approved and give you the option of having several locks.
  2. OD green with a die in it. I love it, makes getting your keys out a lot easier. Tie 'em for friends every now and then.
  3. Nope, only if you're dumb about it like I was lol. But you are gonna love that APEX kit, Mike's had me drooling. Oh I have, and believe me, this one might actually stick.
  4. I picked up an OWB holster from them the other day. Great folks, helped me find the only M&P holster in their store. And at a great price too. Will do business again.
  5. I don't recommend Quik-Clot. Too much risk of being told it's a new formula, and it being old stuff. If you really need a hemo-static agents, use Quik-Clot's Combat Gauze. Not exothermic, and you pack the wound so you know where it went. But really, a tourniquet is all you really need to stop severe bleeding, and it is covered under the good samaritan law.
  6. SPOTLIGHT RANGER!!!!!! lol No, really, glad to know you are okay man.
  7. It's a reference to what a lot of people call Glock butt. AKA not being absolutely sure your finger is off the trigger before holstering, or allowing your finger to get to the trigger before the gun is on target. Exactly what happened to me yesterday. Has zero bearing on the guns themselves, I like both the M&P and Glocks, just have to have constant situational awareness.
  8. It's a Galco Matrix. The indent isn't as deep as it looks.
  9. Actually, we went right back to shooting, but I look like I have no idea what I'm doing when I reholster now. Real slow, finger waaaay away from the gun and staring at the holster like it's coming after me. And yes the shorts are very nice and I intend to keep wearing them as a reminder. On another note, the IFAK has been rebuilt and is now on my chest rig. No more being without a TK and bandaging stuffs from now on.
  10. I got very lucky, could have easily ended up with a severely damaging GSW. I immediately thanked god for only having a small powder burn.
  11. No brown stain, lol. I actually wasn't sure what happened til I looked down.
  12. Hahahahahahaha You ain't kidding, but thankfully, the chest rig and rifle prevented that.
  13. I got lucky, I was still bent over slightly and the round went through my shorts and into the ground.
  14. Was over at Mike's place today to get my pistol stippled and do some shooting. In the course of fire, I went to reholster to transition back to the rifle, and made a big huge dumb ass mistake. All of the years of handling firearms, and dry practice with holsters, and I leave my finger on the trigger as I went to reholster. Bout shot my damn leg off. Lesson relearned today, you can never holster too slowly. And always keep your booger hook off the bang switch. Mandatory pic
  15. This thread is like a wounded badger, it just won't die...
  16. And it a bunch of wild, and karazy guys!!!
  17. IT'S DOWN!!!! FIX IT!!!!!
  18. Jailbreaking 3G as I type this... Status update to follow.
  19. BEER?! I may have to make a trip...
  20. QFT!!!! And the finale was amazing, not the winner I expected.
  21. Go with an AR15 of some variant that looks good to you and you can handle with ease. Light recoil with a full load and can drop deer and zombies with ease. And a huge plus is that you can get a .22 conversion kit for it and shoot very cheaply for practice.
  22. And sorry Bronker, no bunions for you, we only deal with vertebrae.
  23. I'm a Combat Medic by profession, a Medical Assistant by trade.
  24. I interviewed for Dr. Haslam previously, but didn't get the job. This time was a bit of a weird one, got a call, went in and interviewed with both Dr. Downs and Dr. Lowe. Dr. Lowe said yes first, so now I'm working for him, lol.
  25. Seeing the quality of the work these docs do versus my past experience with orthopods, I'm gonna have any future work done by these guys.
