  1. I'm thinking he left because the 'Noles beat the crap out of him...
  2. That definitely ain't hunting. If your gonna shoot something with as big a gun as that, don't rapid fire, a single well placed shot is all you need. I've done lots of feral hog hunting out in my neck of the woods, and it's never taken more than 2 rounds to kill one.
  3. But she specifies, "You have to know the law" Ignorance is not innocence.
  4. Paxton Quigley on Fox News explaining why every woman should carry a gun. Watch here
  5. I may be way off the mark here, but isn't there some stipulation in the self-defense law that the aggressor can't sue if they get jacked up during the commision of the crime? Please, feel free to set me straight if I'm wrong.
  6. Modern Isosceles. Feet square, shoulder width apart, knees flexed, leaned forward at the waist, shoulders rolled forward, arms out, elbows bent slightly and head down to match my wrists for easy sight aquisition. Works beautifully for any pistol, and use basically the same stance for rifles.
  7. Welcome to the darkside. We have cookies.
  8. Good advice to give yourself. I've skated and played hockey for years and fell about two weeks ago, and ended up with a transverse vertebral fracture. And that was without a gun on, if I had had one on I'd probably be much worse off.
  9. It's not too bad, I was down there skating a couple of weeks ago when they first opened the ice. Cops were everywhere, so I didn't worry too much.
  10. Oh believe me, the truck comes first. I already bought the present that means the most so I'm covered on gifts. I love my mom, eveyone else is just gonna have to deal this year, lol. I am thankful that I have a vehicle I can borrow, though it looks like my sister-in-law is about to pull that too. Oh well, sh*t happens. My savings will be gone, and then some, but as long as I can get to Knox this weekend I'll at least stay out of prison.
  11. M&P9FS Full time carry piece.
  12. [Rant] Driving home the other night from Nashville down 40W, my transmission went TU, stopped going forward while in gear. I had a blown return line so I figured that might have been the issue, nope.... Tranny's fried. 2k+ to rebuild... Right at f-in Christmas time. I don't have the money to get this fixed, so it looks like borrowed cars and lots of overtime for the next few weeks to get the fundage together to get it paid for. Then I have to worry about presents for the family, this is going to suck, hard, again.... [/rant]
  13. I'm with Mike on this one. I gots guns and lots of boolits to end their second life.

    Photoshop help?

Most people who buy Elements will never use half of the features that it has. So if you're just dabbling, it will work very well for you.
  15. What ever happened to "Innocent until proven guilty?" I would have opted out, just to see what they would do. Read me my rights? Invoke the Patriot Act and send me to Gitmo? Put me in a corner and repeatedly kick me in the nuts until I submit? Then sue the ever living piss out of the TSA for violation of my constitutional rights.
  16. Now that's what I'm talking about Mike!!!
  17. Military grade means Aimpoint or EOTech. Anything else that claims to be just has that written in the ad to sell more. Trust me, I've broken countless thousands of dollars of "Military Grade" equipment during actual military exercises. None of it lives up to the advertising. I, however, still haven't broken a Primary Arms red dot. And I've jacked up Aimpoints(never broken one) and EOTechs(shattered that sum-bitch, still like 'em though).
  18. I'm right around the same round count as Mike. And he knows how bad I treat my guns, and mine runs like a sewing machine. I think I might have cleaned it once? Most likely on accident too, lol. Every time I want it to go bang, it goes bang. You'll be very happy with it.

    H&K pistols

Pretty awesome from my experience. I used to carry a HK USP .45 FS and beat that gun mercilessly. Rarely cleaned or lubed it, shot tons of Wolf and other crappy ammo through it, and only had one issue that came back to a bad mag. Though home pistol-smithing is out of the question due to complexity, they are fantastic guns.
  20. This is how I look at it, avoid marriage, avoid the potential divorce. Not really, though.
  21. I bit the bullet a while back and just paid for the Oakley Flakjackets with polarized smoked lenses. Best $120 I ever spent. Have had 'em for 3 years now and still don't need to change the lenses, and I'm very hard on eye wear.
  22. You don't have to put it in the box half-pint. You could just put it up for PIF.
  23. If I'm dropping a deuce, I put it on the toilet paper dispenser.
  24. Well he didn't quote me for one. And two I had been drinking... A lot...
