Sounds to me like it's over, not under gassed, basically it's cycling to quickly & not allowing the spent cartridge enough dwell-time in between ignition & extraction. An H2 buffer should clear it right up.

The only time I wear a shoulder rig is when I'm going to be in a vehicle for most of the day, it is more comfortable than belt carry & easier to access in an emergency while seated/belted in. Other than that I really don't use that method of carry, however that said the Galco "Miami Classic" is well worth the extra coin over cheap nylon or surplus rigs, the Galco's are very good harnesses & holsters with plenty of adjustment points to make them comfortable for extended wear, I've been using the design's original incarnation (Jackass rig) for 25+ some odd years with no complaints.

I did take a look in the mirror & I realize that I use extremely precise language, someone who quickly skims instead of reading them word for word might not pick up on the subtle nuances in my comments, which may confuse or cause a misunderstanding depending on a particular readers familiarity with my viewpoints. This was my initial thought anyway, which is why I mentioned "reading comprehension" as the most likely cause & original root of our misunderstanding, however since you insisted that reading comprehension was not the cause of the problem then it had to have been purposeful. I believe that there have been multiple "knockout game" incidents lately, I'm not certain of which one involved the tazer &/or if that specific one had a white or black victim. Maybe someone who's been following these incidents more closely can chime in & set the record straight?

If you've never experienced the "tunnel vision" that happens during actual self-defense scenarios then you really will not grasp exactly how useful laser sights are on a defensive weapon, especially when there are multiple hostiles. They might seem "gimmicky" for recreational range use, but trust me when I say that there is no better weapon sight when looking through that adrenaline induced tunnel.

Neat conversion there Spots. However my 590A1 already holds 8+1 in its tube, plus an extra +4 in reserve in a speed feed stock, although the magazine/drum fed idea is kind of cool I can't help but wonder about what that does to the weapons ergonomics, which is one of the reasons I've never liked the Sagia shotgun's either, they just don't "swing" on to the target like I want/expect them to. Anyway what is the added weight of the conversion? How did it seem to handle? Any reliability problems?

I have also had tighter groups w/158gr's out of carbines, where as my revolvers have always been more accurate w/125gr's for some odd reason.

I also always use FMJ in pocket pistols chambered in .380, granted the bullets won't expand but at least hopefully they'll penetrate deep enough to stop a threat if God forbid one happens along.
