Welp, maybe it's time to push for defunding the Smithsonian Institute as well as any & all other government operated &/or sponsered agencies which engage in political propaganda using our tax dollars.

Hahhhaaahaa mind if I borrow this one?

Welp the exigent circumstance exemption to warrantless search would not have applied in this case because there was no "urgency of action" required to prevent imminent harm, to keep evidence from being destroyed or to prevent the escape of a suspect. That's not just "my opinion" that's just how exigent circumstance exemptions are triggered. But yes, if those triggerable conditions are met, exigent circumstances do carry a lot of weight.

I can't seem to find any here local sources here in West TN, what small evergreens that I have seen & sampled have had very little sap, even at their hearts. Plus their spines are just nasty, seriously wtf is up with those? It's like a damn hybrid cross between a porcupine & an evergreen, I had never seen such a nasty mean-spirited little Christmas tree as the one I cut down from the back part of our property to use last Christmas, putting lights on it was torturous, but it was sooo entertaining watching the kids try to retrieve their presents out from under it on Christmas morning hahhhahhaaa Yes I know, I'm going to Hell for that one ... Anyway I'm currently working on making an alternative for fatwood/fat lighter, I'll post results as soon as I field test it.

Actually JayC's comments have all been very accurate, the textbook definition of proper-procedure & supportive judicial rulings he's mentioned were identical to the education & training that I recieved.

I've had this one for years, fantastic shooter, very reliable, very accurate.

Hahhaaa yup I remember Mopeds that's for sure, our neighbors complained about me riding loud motorcycles around the neighborhood, so my parents bought me one of those gawd awful Moped things for "residential use" & I seriously hated that thing, especially when I had fun motorcycles I could had been riding instead, neighbors be damned! Anyway I wasn't a spoiled brat or rich-kid or anything, my Mom & Dad was just really into riding motorcycles, I literally grew up sitting in front of either him or her, clutching the tank of the motorcycle holding on for dear life as we rode around town or we were ripping down some muddy trails, I was too little to sit behind them on the seat, so they stuck me up in front of which ever bike I wanted to ride on, my Mom's or my Dads. On my 7th birthday I was finally big enough to learn how to ride, so they got me a little Kawasaki 90cc as my BD present, my mom had to show me how to ride it because my dad couldn't fit on it with me, I have some great memories of/on/from that little Kawasaki. I remember riding that little bike so hard, trying to keep up with mom & dad's much faster bikes zipping down the trails & how they'd sling so much mud back on me I literally was covered head to toe, jeesh those were some really good times!

Robert did you completely ignore every single thing that Jay's posted? Or just the vast majority of it? Egads man, please re-read Jay's posts again, he describes exactly how the process is supposed to work & exactly how it was mishandled.

My eldest daughter wants one now.

Cool story bro, so do you want to come kill some critters with scatter guns or not? .

For much of my adult life & up until a couple years ago I was "hobby farmer", I mostly grew a wide variety of various berries, red raspberries, black raspberries, blackberries, blueberries & strawberries, (sorry no dingleberries) but I also grew a good sized (non-commercial) vegetable garden as well as plot of feed corn & field beans specifically for my chickens. I never really considered it "work" simply because every single day was a labor of love, something that I had built from nothing, into my own personal "garden of Eden" plus I had a tractor & as everyone knows ... tractors are just freaking awesome. Anyway a couple of years ago I lost the farm (literally) in a disolution of property settlement with my EX, since then I've been staring blankly at all of the "not hiring U" classified adds, burning through what's left of my life-savings ... But I'd have to say those 18 some-odd years of working on my little farm was the most enjoyable "job" I've ever had.

I did a bit of digging on Osa Scooters and came across this: Junak Rider on March 21, 2011 @ 10:23 am The correct, polish name of manufactuter: Warszawska Fabryka Motocykli Osa scooters were produced with 175 ccm engine only. There were some special models made for OFF-ROAD races (many success in this!) So it looks like there was indeed a Polish manufacturer "Osa" that mainly made scooters, but made a special-run of off-road race bikes, with many success in this! I'll see if I can find out any more info.

Yea I'm already burned out on twitter, thinking of removing the App to free up more space on my phone.

Tanker, I do sort of remember another brand that was very similar to Ossa, it could had been Osa or maybe Osso, I can't really recall any details it's simply been to long. I do remember I had originally wanted a Bultaco & how disappointed that I was when first seeing my Ossa in the garage for the first time. I was still just a kid, but I'd already owned a Kawasaki 90, Yamaha 100 & a Suzuki 125, I was getting serious about MX racing & Bultaco's were dominating at the time. Thankfully my Father knew what he was doing when he bought me that Ossa instead of a Bultaco because that Phantom was amazing, I won more heats on that bike than with all of my other bikes combined. I didn't fare anywhere near as well after switching to 250 class & upgrading to a Honda XL250R, which was not only to tall for me to flat foot, it also was a constant coil-eating mechanical nightmare. Those were really fun times though!

Rabbits, squirrels, turkey's, ducks & geese mostly, occasionally whitetails I've scouted a few spots & I've seen plenty of freezer-sized ones, but I haven't seen a single trophy-sized buck yet.. I also like to shoot trap & skeet, but I don't know of any clubs around here to do that at though, I do have a mechanical thrower & a couple cases of clays somewhere in storage, if I can get a couple guys together it might be worth dragging out & setting up.

I wasn't calling you out or anything I'm just a big fan of Ossa & I had never heard of any connection between the Ossa & MZ factories before, so forgive my speculation, I was just trying to figure out the who, what, when, where, how, why of if that colaboration/combination was even possible. So if you do manage to come across any info, either on the web or from your buddy on MZ manufactured Ossa's I'd be very interested in learning more.

Welp since he's in Jackson he's welcome to come go hunting with me sometime, I'm guessing that iffin he got a little first hand-experience in the field with a shotgun he'd understand exactly why everyone said "shotgun" as the long-gun choice..

Wrap a $1 bill around a brick, toss it through gym's plate glass window, attached with a note that reads "this is the first of two-hundred & four payment installments, call to cancel at anytime". My guess is after making 5 or 6 installments they'll call to cancel the debt.

My mistake, I thought I was posting in the "survival" subforum, not the "guess how many .22LR's can I fit into a pack!" forum. I won't try to prevent you from slowly starving yourself to death any longer, seriously, what was I thinking? Of course you should load up your pack with the smallest, cheapest, single least effective cartridge commercially availible!

Interesting, seriously I am intrigued, I'd never heard of Ossa re-branding East-German MZ's as their own before. Ossa was famous for producing high-end racing bikes in their in-house Spanish factory, I can't imagine why they'd farm out work to a communist block factory, especially one where they had no direct QC oversight, except for maybe if demand for their bikes just was so great that they did what ever it took to fill orders. And at that period of time East Germany was still behind the Iron Curtain weren't they? which of course also meant that the MZ factory was State owned & operated and with them being a communist State meant that they had a policy of not engaging in capitalistic trade ventures? If they did contract with Ossa that's a neat little tidbit of ColdWar trivia most folks wouldn't be aware of. Or maybe it could be possible for someone to have simply re-badged a less expensive MZ as a more expensive Ossa inorder to get a higher price for it on their own? Sort of a counterfit deal prehaps? Or could it have been a salvage-rebuilt "Frankenstien" MZ/Ossa parts-bike or something? Anyway very interesting mystery there man, you wouldn't happen to have any photos of your Ossa/MZ handy would you? I'd love to see it.

I tell you what, how about you go spend an hour hunting rabbits with a shotgun & then spend an hour of hunting rabbits with a .22LR, come back post your results. At least then you'll have a whole 2 hours hunting experience under your belt before you argue with me over which one is a more effective "game getter".
