Dedicated .308 can, or multi cal?
i1afli replied to KnoxGhost's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
@Alleycat72 makes a good point. For easy cleaning, any can used for .22 should have titanium or stainless baffles that can be cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner as aluminum will pit in a US cleaner. My Banish 30, a .30 multi-cal can, has Ti tube and baffles that can be US cleaned, so even though it can be used for centerfire it’s not a non-rimfire suppressor. -

And you can use the 30 cal can on everything 308 and smaller, even down to .17. I’ve used my .30 can on a .22 rifle and can’t tell any difference between it and my dedicated .22 can. -
1969-vintage Bulova Accutron 666 Feet Deep Sea, better known as the “Devil Diver”. This is the tuning fork movement, so it hums instead of ticking. I like vintage.

Anyone dealt with Silencer Central?

I used them this year because I wanted a Trust and they made it easy. The current BOGO offer is tempting but I need two more cans like I need another hole in my head. -
Why would somebody throw a box full of dynamite into a scrap pile for recycling? And what does dynamite do when doused with diesel fuel and burned…does it just burn like firewood?

Yeah, I’ve had good luck with SG Ammo. The free shipping is nice.

I’ve heard of these but this is the best look I’ve had at one. I think I saw some when I first started going to the CMP in 2011 but I didn’t buy one because I didn’t know what they were or what I would do with it. Thanks for posting.

Question : Would you buy locally made Ammo?
i1afli replied to DraxTheDad's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I’ve bought plenty of bagged ammo at gun shows and wouldn’t hesitate to do so again if the price is right. -
Big trouble at the Piggly Wiggly, of all places.

You’re not dreaming it. Perhaps Garufa will clarify what was incorrect. -
Sounds like one inconvenience after another. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that you seem to be getting around better.

My P322 has no problem cycling CCI 40gr subsonic (1050 fps). Update: Also cycled well with CCI 45gr subsonic (970 fps), but would not cycle with CCI 40gr 710 fps. My friend’s Colt AR .22 had the same results. They were both suppressed and very quite with these subsonics.

Form 4’s efiled on Trust 3/15/24 approved today, 5/30/24, so 76 days. -
My neighbor used Carvana and was not happy with the car when it was delivered. Was purely a cosmetic issue and Carvana came back and picked it up a week later, no hassle. I think you’re safe purchasing through them.

Nice thing about antique is it’s one-and-done…no annual renewals or wheel tax. Maybe old plates are the same? -
Eye opening tale. Glad you made it through. Prayers for your recovery. Thanks for sharing.

@Spots Thanks for the update. Saved me a trip to Oliver Springs to knock on the door. Message me if you reach him as I will be traveling to middle tn over the next few months and could take my parts to him.
