  1. Me personally I will take the Marlin over the Winchester. :) The 1894's are great little rifles. I finally scored one in 357 mag a couple weeks ago.
  2. The outhouse & the Sears catalog!
  3. It's better than a drought though!
  4. Well this baby is now sold. Thank you for the interest.
  5. Ha if I'm out of work it is what I wear.    I have one that says "GOT AMMO" it gets a lot of comments when I'm out at the moment. It strikes up some nice conversations.   I have another that is a S&W shirt with their logo that says "bullets make me happy" I'll tell ya. wear this to Georgia & everybody talks to ya! :)   I have another with many cartriges on it that says "pick your caliber".   I even have one that says " I'm the god fearing, gun toting, flag waving, Conservitave that Liberals warned you about" ! I have had a couple nice looks over this one.
  6. OK I put it in the for sale section.
  7. OK thinking of cutting loose my M38 Just checking to see how much interest there is in the M38. I will sell it if I get a good offer too. It does have some scrapes on it but other than that it is pretty good shape. matching ## except for the floor plate & it is forced matched. 8. Shaun I'm ready just about any evening during the week. Luke same with you if you need a tag a long.
  9. Ha Land to hunt on is a great start. :) I have a FoxPro wildfire But have trouble finding a place to hunt.
  10. I do agree also with the 4350 I have loaded the .243 with it & it worked great just the H380 was more consistant for mine.   I also use 4350 for 7.62x54R, 7mm Rem Mag, 6.5 Jap, &.270 Win It is a very good powder to have around.   I use the H380 in .243 & 22-250 only at the moment.
  11. Mine really likes 70 gr Nosler's in front of 39gr of H380.
  12. Tractor trailer tires are about 100lbs depending on how much tread is on them. I would ask TCI Tire Centers in Antioch or American tire in Murfreesboro for heavy equipment tires.
  13. At least the guy was aware of his surroundings. Looks as if he was already in defense mode before the would be robber even got to the window.
  14. My son is in school with a nice, very intelligent girl with the last name of Butt. I don't know why her parents were so mean to the girl to name her Emma.
  15. I have one i use for pistol on my RCBS turret press. I use Unique powder if it matters. It works pretty good for this but I think it would be more accurate mounting it to a bench.   The rotors are easy to change but suck to buy at $12 + shipping each the last time I looked.   I keep my eye out for used ones on all sites that I frequent & now have a decent collection.
  16. If the police didn't "lock down" the town & do exactly what they did the punk would probably still be out there & you would be griping that the cops were not doing enough to catch him!     Now correct me if I'm wrong. Who is wrong & who is right?
  17. Yes they are tough buy they cant withstand a blast from a .357 loaded with crushed walnut shells.
  18. Only got 6 today. But that is all that was out when I got home.
  19. I will do my best to make it. Hopefully I won't forget! :)
  20. Sounds cool! I will see if I can make it.
  21. Do you have a taper crimp die? If so you can size your boolit while crimping it in. For most that size to .356 & then taper crimp too them the boolit will be resized again  to a smaller diameter.   If loading your .357 as dropped boolit doesn't bulge your case then just taper crimp it in.
  22. Other peolpe sell ranch dog, Lee, RCBS, NOE & so & so forth moulds every day used!! I never buy a "new " mould!  I never said Go look for a "new" mould!
  23. To push a boolit through your barrel so you can measure the size of your bore to know what size boolit it will need.   A soft lead round ball works great.. Do a search on youtube for suging a barrel. It will give you a good idea.
  24. It will work your brass alot but you could put .358 "lead" bullets in a 9mm case & size it down using a Lee factory taper crimp.   Me I would slug the barrel on both & get the right bullets for both!
