How much does the molds for the balls run? I already have a Lee melting pot, been making fishing lures. Is bass-pro a good plack for this hobby?

I am kinda considering getting started in the cap & ball revolvers. Was just wondering how much it will cost, where to find the guns, & what necessities I would have to have to get started??? I've always been fascinated by these guns & would just like a little info. THANKS PS i'm not in a hurry, i'm workin on an AR at the moment, but still want to know. This will probably be next!!!

Be sure to practice dry drawing before doing this! I ues my XD with the mag out (& be sure to not have one in the chamber) in the cocked position so I know if for some reason I do hit the triger I will know without AD.

Yes the ole wallet does take a beating if you decide to carry. Not just the pistol but all the little extras, too. You got that right ammo,more guns, range passes, more guns,getting a permit, did I say more guns... Its crazy. Hi & welcome to it all!

Hi Michael! Welcome to TGO. I'm sure you will enjoy the time you spend here. The only sub/com. I have is the XD9. There are plenty of others on here that will say so also (I love it). It shoots alot better than I do & I'm getting alot better. A word of advice go to your local gun shop & put your hands on enything that is in your price range & see what feals good in your hands.
