I found a gun shop that had a short threaded sling swivel stud that was 10 x 32 threads I do believe. After that I located where i wanted it, drilled, tapped, & locktite the hell out of it for good measure. Mount a harris & forget about it.

I can tell most of you don't have teenage kids. Do you not want to give them a warning before you cut them in half with a 12ga? Or is it that I'm missing something. I say this because it almost happened to me all I saw was a barrel of my dad's 10ga double barrel comming around the corner. If I had not seen the barrel I sure wish he would give a warning before the mechanical separation begins!!

I'm there with ya! I'm also at work now till possibly 5:00. I may have to come back to work , pull a truck in the shop & sleep for a while.

I'm not sure but I think someone said he was closed this weekend. May want to call & check first.

I'm sure he is just like me & most of the other people on this site. Got to take it apart at least once to see how it is made! Where is that man in all of yall! We have to take it all apart! Right ?? I still take mine apart just to do so. I still like to see how it is made.

If you have trouble putting it together go to Ruger website get the owners manual & follow it step by step & word for word. It is best to even hold the gun at the same angles as shown. OBTW you have to hold one foot off the ground, while spinning on the other, with one hand behind your back. O I almost forgot you also have to whistle dixie while eating crackers. After all that if you still don't have it:hyper: Holler at me & I will be glad to help you out.

It just had to be the time I got there late, so I didn't see the beginning. Something about DanO fireing a full auto & the "range officer" very well didn't like it along with his blackpowder buddies. The guy was pissed at TGO the rest of the day. As he was talkin to a small group of TGO folks David looks at him serious as hell & ask "so what department you with?" He was kinda speachless for a sec & said it was the one & only HCP badge!! We were all bout to die, but had to keep it all in for the moment. It was great like I said you just had to see it!

Gotta ask again. Who was as Owl Hollow tha day TGO David ask the range ***k witch department he was with? You just had to be there it was priceless!

Happened to a guy on this site, He was trying to sell a firearm & was contacted saying the gun was stolen. All & all the gun was not stolen & the so guy that called had no proof. Edit: he was not selling the gun on this site, just the conversation was here.
