  1. I'm glad you have it figured out! Congrats on the good news!!
  2. Just so you know I'm getting close to haveing a place to go in Marshall Co. I do have a couple smaller places so I'm trying to see where it goes from there. I'm bout ready to go.
  3. Yes definatly get a seperate turret for each caliber. Also is that a 3 or 4 hole turret? If it is 3 I beleive Lee sells a conversion to change it to 4. I would suggest a 4 hole for pistol so you have a hole for a crimp die.
  4. I have quite a few, & other than a couple scopes all mine are “standard“ & I'm quite pleased.
  5. Sorry for me asking & I know it is yours & you can do with it as you wish, but why a Finn? If you are wanting just a project gut I will swap you my Tula M38!
  6. Do you need a brother?
  7. Mine has never liked Winchester ammo. All I shoot in mine is CCI.
  8. Be sure to carry it on half cock. If it is like mine the hammer sets on the shell caseing. Mine is also my always gun.
  9. They are yours. PM sent.
  10. He sent me some .45 brass & I was going to send him some .40 brass. I ended up sending my .45 to him instead:shrug:. It was acually not where it was supposed to be. Any way I paid for the shipping to get it back then got the right shipment out when I found it, witch was the nex time I walked in the shop. I have to say he has me on that one!
  11. & the brass goes to Catdaddy.
  12. I will take these & PIF 200 9mm brass. Gone to Catdaddy!! PM comming with address. Thanks Also for the guys that are TAKEING things on the PIF thread this is how it is done. If you claim something put something up! _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________
  13. Dakota was acually in the yard & watched it come down. David I have plenty of pics of her on my phone. I will see what I have on the card. This is one of the pups bought off TGO from sammopar. Her ear finally stood today!
  14. Yep! That is the idea! I couldn't beleive I acually took a picture of the tree probably 2 hrs before it hit the ground.
  15. I thought you loose man points if you don't strip it. It don't bother me a bit to do it.
  16. The full length is supposed to make your recoil spring last longer : or so I hear.
  17. Well that one got me! I do still have an original H&R 30-30.
  18. Marlin is the one that bought NEF who bought H&R.
  19. I have a NEF .270. I have shot a deer or two with it & love it. Haven't shot it in a long time though it is my next caliber to start loading for. I have never shot it over 100yrds. I'm also going to send it in to have another barrel fitted for it in probably .223 cost is about $100 to have other rifle barrel fitted to your receiver, & can also do most shotgun barrels for about $50.
  20. On the assembly you can cock the hammer & set the safety to lessen the tention on the detent spring. Then slow & easy push in the slidestop about half way, release the safety, pull back the slide to line up the notch in the sliet & finist pushing the slidestop in.
  21. Hi neighbor & welcome to TGO! I'm in Chapel Hill.
  22. I went with the Classic turret from Lee with 4 I repeat 4 hole turret! If I had it to do again I would go with it again. Also the Pro auto disk is much better than the regular auto disk in that kit. Last but not least the Lee balance beam scale will get you started but you wil end up changeing it too. Man life is FULL of decesions.
  23. strickj, for loading 9mm & .45 I would suggest a progressive or turret press. The Lee turret is a hit or miss if it works great or not but is worth the $$ to get started with. It is cheap enough to start out with then you can upgrade from there. IMHO a single stage takes way tooo much time for pistol rds. I use the Lee turret & it works great for my needs. I have heared of others that were not as lucky.
  24. If I'm not mistaken ther only has to be a No Trespassing sign at any normal entrance to be legal. Anyone crossing a fence should know better. I agree take the stand & leave contact info.
