Other than having to replace both catalytic converters , it runs awesome. The only car I have I had that I liked better was my 89 Landcruise. That was a beast! My next car will likely be a Subaru Outback though. As the kids get older and move out, I just don't need all the room, and the better gas mileage would be a huge plus. I was looking for an Outback when I stumbled on the Sequoia.

My back window is power and I am afraid it would get messed up if the window was put down. I'm not to worried about the paint. Its a 2003 Sequoia.

We have three rescue cats and 1 rescue chocolate Lab.  We have also rescued a basset hound that we had until she died of old age.  Firmly believe in getting pets from a rescue or a shelter!

When I was in the military, we learned how to make poncho raft in order to move all our gear, across a deep river. Not sure I could do it now, that was over 30 years ago.  But my point is that there are ways to do it.  BTW, 40 lbs is a lot!!!

  VERY true!  But then again anyone on this board would probably make a better President than what we have now... I think.. The jury might still be out on some of you. :)   I guess my one big gripe with him was the Iran Contra deal.  Why were we trying to sell arms to a nation that we might have gone to war with (and might still do so one of these days), to fund a group fighting a guerrilla war in a Central American country that no one gave two craps about?  Those weapons could have been and possibly still might be used against us.   As for Kings Row and Knute Rockne being good movies, I will leave it to you all oldsters that actually grew up with them.  I am far to young at 52, to remember them that well. Haven't seen either of them in a coons age. :D

Went to Ollie's over at East Town Mall in Knoxville this afternoon with my wife and oldest daughter and found Bulldog Tactical Double Rifle Cases for $19.99. It's the same as this, but in digital camo, so I picked one up.    http://www.midwayusa.com/product/988081/bulldog-extreme-double-assault-rifle-gun-case-47-nylon-black   They also had some other rifle cases with wheels for $39.99 and then some others for $9.99, that looked like they would be made for shotguns or non scoped rifles.  These all look to be much better quality than is currently sold at Walmart. They are black nylon.

Hey, I resemble partly that description! I like to wear Panama hats and sport a Tilly Winter hat in the winter. I also carry a Mountainsmith Lumber pack with a shoulder strap on a daily basis! Oh, you had to go there!!! ;(

I remember back in the day, (mid 80s) when we got paid, us older troops would take up a collection and go to Class 6 and pick up alcohol for all of the lower ranks in the platoon. Then we'd go have a big drinking party, where most of us got at least buzzed. We'd also go drink beer at the nearby snack bar and play pool. Saw several fights there between drunk soldiers. I can't imagine a worse place to have a loaded firearm.  I know we have guns in bars now, but I hope the average HCP holder would not be drinking at one while carrying.  Don't forget, most of these guys are just out of high school and they aren't used to drinking.  You get a couple beers down them and they think they are bullet proof.   That might not meet with the world as you see it, but that's the way it was then and I expect it's the same now.
