  1. I can carry my Glock G45 in my Liberty bibs. I need to pick up another Sticky holster for it though.
  2. Well, I usually pocket carry a LCP Max, but with baggy pants and bigger pockets I’ve also been pocket carrying Ruger Max9 with a CT 1550 RDS, in a Sticky Holster.
  3. I have the same pistol. Really enjoy shooting it.
  4. I first computer was a IBM XT Clone, that I bought at Service Merchandise with an Amber screen CRT. I used it to write my than girl friend's computer programs for college. She's now my wife.
  5. Old enough to be a member, but I wouldn't join them, if their organization was free to join. To hell with AARP!
  6. You guys are old!
  7. I see it closing in 3, 2,...
  8. Moped, because that was my nickname in HS.
  9. They get employed on a lot of construction jobs, especially in the wastewater field, because most Americans do not want to work down in a sewer manhole. The ones I've been around are hard workers and pleasant to be around. I never asked them, their legal status, but since most every crew had a guy that could translate English to Spanish and pass on instructions to the ones that didn't speak English, I suspect a lot of them were illegal.
  10. This thread has drifted into very troubling territory. Liver has to be the most vile, disgusting thing there is.
  11. Looks like Tngunowners has a location for future shoot!!! Great job!!!
  12. I've enjoyed the hike to Virgin Falls several times! Never fails to impress! Other just as beautiful areas to visit in East Tennessee are Twin Arches at Big South Fork (and Bucee's could be a stop for your friend on that one too) and Sand Cave, up at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. On the same hike, checkout White Rocks!!! I guarantee you will not be disappointed with either of those two hikes!!!
  13. We stopped at our first Bucee's in Daytona, FL, a couple of years ago. Had a lot of fun looking around, and purchasing a few things. If we are near one, when traveling, we always stop, for the restrooms, the brisket tacos and sandwiches, the pastries and jerky. We've enjoyed the experience every time. At some point we will visit the new on in Sevierville, but I doubt it will be on opening day.
  14. Saw the unblurred pic on Twitter. I can't tell. Could be Latino, White, or Middle Eastern. There are unblurred pics of the victims too, You all do not want to see them. Looks like the officer got him in the head. Good shoot! I suspect he had on body armor, under that tactical vest, He had at least another 6 mags on that vest too. This could have been a lot worse than it was.
  15. Could be and that makes sense. But I would think that the FBI would have at least one agent that could speak Spanish in Dallas. That's what led to my jump to a case of possible terrorism, with the family speaking Arabic, Persian or perhaps Russo ethnic or African language.
  16. Well, this is taking a turn... Wonder if this is an act of terrorism, like down in Chattanooga several years ago... The FBI was in the shooter's home talking to the parents and requested a translator. Who was the Allen outlet mall shooter? | wfaa.com
  17. I think it’s broken too. And I’m not sure it can be fixed anymore.
  18. Have you checked Crossroads Firearms on Broadway? Also try Smokey Mountain Gun Works at the intersection of Asheville Hwy and Govenor John Sevier Hwy?
  19. I found my old military flashlight yesterday, digging through a box in my office/man cave.
  20. Well he isn’t getting deported this time. Pretty sure the death penalty is the only thing on the table!

    What If Rifle...

When I started this thread, I was thinking about the newly passed Washington State Assault Rifle legislation. You can read the full text of the law here. https://lawfilesext.leg.wa.gov/biennium/2023-24/Pdf/Bills/House Passed Legislature/1240-S.PL.pdf#page=1 Surprisingly, the Ruger Mini rifles are not named, nor are M1 Carbines, or M1 Garands. However the Springfield Armory M1A and all it's forms and the SKS is (honestly, this makes zero sense to me). Nor are most U.S. produced PCCs.
  22. And one more time… https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/03/us/atlanta-midtown-shooting FOXNEWS has photos of the alleged gunman. https://www.foxnews.com/us/atlanta-active-shooter-situation-leaves-multiple-people-injured-police-say Per a CBS News interview from a woman leaving the hospital, she was told that the shooter was there for Psychological evaluation. When pressed how she knew that, she said that several people she knew told her that and she had also heard it on the police radios officers were carrying. Police say the do know the shooter’s identity and that they are looking for him.
