Other than having a rather long reset, I have no issues with mine. Now it's nowhere close to the trigger my LC9S Pro is, granted.

Based off my experience with the G2, I would most certainly look at this pistol, if I were looking for a budget priced full sized handgun. These seem to be running under $250 around here.

If it's for self defense/concealed carry, then lighter is better! Stay away from heavy pistols, that you will end up not wanting to carry. My maximum weight pistol that I carry is a SA XDs .45ACP, which weights in at 22oz unloaded. But most of the time, It's a S&W 442 (14oz) or a Ruger LCP (10oz). Both of those are about to be supplanted by a Ruger LC9S Pro 9mm (17oz). The S&W 442 and the Ruger LCP are not fun range guns, due to recoil, though. The LC9S and the SA XDs are much more fun to shoot at the range.

Prayers for a speedy and full recovery!

Recommend a handgun and a carry holster for a newbie

If a S&W 380ez isn’t an option for some reason, you might want to consider a Beretta Tomcat .32acp. Comes with a tip up barrel, for easy loading. Of course if funds are unlimited, the Beretta made the 86, which also had a tip up barrel, but they are expensive. The one on Gunbroker is $1100+. i really like the idea of a 20gauge semi. It’s something she might have shot as a child and is familiar with. A youth model would do the trick. Just cut the barrel back to about 20”. -
Interesting choice in location, Southwest Georgia.

My big issue with a possible Civil War is what do we end up with in the long run. Typically, they do not end well for either side. No one comes out clean. Our children stand a much better chance of living in a police state afterwards, then they might have before. I'm with CRuel Hand Luke. I hope cooler heads prevail in this. And honestly, I think they will, for a time. Beto is receiving a lot of push back from other candidates and even from some in the Anti 2A crowd. They know confiscation ad buy backs are a losing proposition for their cause. I'm not worried about Beto getting the nomination at this point.

I see them a lot in Fountain City, along with foxes, coons, and deer.

Exactly!!! Has anyone seen one up close and personal?

I keep hoping that Ruger will come out with a 3" LCRx in .357. I've heard rumors they are, but have yet to see one.

Yes, that's really all it did, but it was an excellent round! I bought a little Colt Agent back in the mid 90's, great little revolver with slick trigger. The Retired Postal Inspector I bought it from, highly recommended them in the Agent. He was indeed correct. That little gun shot the best groups with Nyclads. Later on, with other snubbys and other other revolvers, I found it to be one of the more accurate rounds out there. I feel fortunate to still have a box for the 442. I've put a cylinder through it and compared the box of Remington 125gr SMJHPs, it's still excellent ammunition. I was reading on the web, that the reason that Federal discontinued it, was because the nyclad jacket coating just got to expensive. I priced a box on Gunbroker last night, and the wanted $80 for 50 rounds.
-
Unfortunately, Federal is no longer making them. I have on box left and that's what I have in my 442.

Things Just Got Interesting at the ATF and the DOJ!

I believe we are in for dark times ahead. -
If you remember back about 5 years ago, 80% AR receivers were becoming a big thing, until the ATF raided a “distributor” in California for selling them to convicted felons and others not allowed to own firearms and for having “building parties” for these receivers. He walked this week, after the Judge in the case threatened to come down with a ruling that would have made it all but impossible for the ATF to do their job. I’m not going to copy and past the whole article. You all are smart enough to follow the link and read it for yourselves. https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/11/us/ar-15-guns-law-atf-invs/index.html

Would love to know what you think. I've been on the fence for a while on them. I've read pro articles and con articles. The Con articles scare me away from this pistol.

An SKS Bullpup reconfigure.....

That is one interesting looking rifle! -
I personally loved Federal 125 gr Nyclad HPs, and still carry them in my S&W 442 along with 2 additional speed strips full. I thought this was the best standard pressure defense round going for snubbies. Sadly, Federal dropped them. I snap them up, whenever I can find the odd box, here or there. Now, I’d probably go with the HST round mentioned above or the Speer Gold Dot.

If it comes down on our side, I think it's a good thing. I'm not holding me breathe however, for a favorable outcome.

I hate you both.

The Democrats can’t run against the economy, so they’ve picked firearms. They are throwing all kinds of #### out there now, to try and get ahead of their base. Biden is trailing, so he’s desperate, just like Beto and all the rest of them not named Warren.
-
I love my .45 XDs, which I traded a practically new M&P 9 compact (Gen 1) for. I’ve had no issues with it and it’s in my carry rotation. This Hellcat has my interest though! I like the weight and size.

Unless they flip the Senate, retain a majority in the House and gain the White House. Then there is a very good likelihood that a ban and buy back of so called assault weapons will happen, along with other more draconian anti 2A laws. Welcome to the rule of the Blue States and their lack of freedom.

I think a 410 single shot is more cost effective. A sad they a heck of lot cheaper!

White House Floats Background Check Ideas
Moped replied to Garufa's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I’m not seeing a lot of difference here, from the way it is now. This licensed Transfer Agent is something new, obviously. It remains to be seen if people will use them for a private sell or not. -
Housing prices in Denver have been on the rise since the late 90's. My B-I-L lives there and has made a fortune flipping houses, in that time period. It's because there was a mass migration of people moving there from all over the US, but mostly from Cali. No one seems to be actually from Denver anymore. They brought the idea of legalization of mary jane with them.
