Was there a price list and item description posted somewhere?

Knox County added another 124 new cases over the last two day. 34 are now hospitalized with 251 ICU beds being used, which only leaves 21 ICU beds open. 10 people have died due to COVID-19. Based on a note on the website, that I had not noticed before, all the numbers weren't in when this was posted at 10am. Those numbers will be tacked onto tomorrows statistics.

I only wear them indoors. As soon as my largish ass hits the door on my way out, it comes off. I don't like wearing them either, but I see the point. Nor would I wear them working construction or any outside job, unless there was an OSHA requirement for them. I've not been back in the gym since this all started. Today might be a good day to try it out, though.

Yeah, I saw that. I was really hoping to avoid a transfer fee and I wanted to look at the pistols. They are surplus. I'd rather be the one that picks as opposed to paying some one another $25 to hand select out of 10 or so, or for someone to just grab one and send it to me.

Anyone dealt with Robertson Trading Post in Henderson? I noticed on GOA, that they have several pistols I'm possibly interested in. I might be up for a trip to Henderson to check them out. Are they open to the public or doing online ordering only? Are they good people to deal with?

I'm sorry HP! Prayers for your family!

Knox County added another 93 cases today and one more death, now 9. Hospitalizations remain at 20. ICU Bed Occupancy is still at 89% with 30 beds open. That's 489 new cases in the last week.

Exactly!!! Not sure why people aren't getting this.

But, but, Glocks are perfect! Just had to throw that in out there. They are great guns. I own a Gen 2 17. It's my longest owned pistol. Had it since 90'. But just like all the rest of them, they do have issues from time to time.

Been out and about most of the weekend, in both Blount and Knox Counties and for the most part, the Anti-Maskers have been few. Most people are following the rules, as set forth by the health Department. Was in Kroger in Ftn Cty on Friday and only saw 13 people without masks. The store was very crowded. They ranged from children, to the elderly. Today, I went to Sam’s and saw just 6 without masks, including the Deputy they have hired for Security.

Knox County only added 17 new cases as of this morning. Unfortunately the hospitalizations have climbed to 20 and there were 2 more deaths, bring our total to 8.

93 new cases in Knox County today, with 17 hospitalized, still 30 ICU beds available, with an 89% occupancy. 6 dead total.

New cases in Knox County today was only 50 today. That's a significant decrease from yesterday's 70. Hospitalizations were down to 15. But we only have 30 ICU beds open. No new deaths. My wife and I were out and about all afternoon, both in Maryville and Knoxville and more people had them on than did not. I was at Kroger in Ftn Cty a short time ago and only saw 13 people not wearing a mask out of an estimated 200 or so people in the store. They ran the gamete from two young men together to an older couple and a single older woman. But everyone else was wearing a mask. Actually saw some disapproving looks at those not wearing masks.

My daughter was over to the house last night and she is looking for a new pistol. When she finds what she wants, I'm getting the little Keltec P32 back . Then I'm going trade the LCP in for something else. Maybe I'll trade it in on a SDS Fatih .380 or a Bersa Thunder.

Had 70 new cases in Knox County, as off this morning. 18 Hospitalized and another death. That brings the total to 6.

The Knox County Health Department is now. Mandating that masks will be worn in all public buildings and areas where social distancing cannot be followed. In addition, they reported another 50 new cases. And Knox County was a talking point in the State’s briefing, because of this spike we are going through. https://www.wbir.com/article/news/local/knox-county-mandates-masks-in-indoor-public-spaces-starting-july-3/51-7086a666-243d-441f-bbeb-abec12c23f8a There is a twitter link to the resolution, which references the state law that makes this possible.

Still not huge numbers like we saw in New York, but it's enough to tell that it's starting to go up.

You are not mis-remembering. The M6 was actually a .22 hornet/.410. And I agree with you. on it's usefulnees. The caliber selction makes no sense to me, honestly. I refereneced the Chiappa version of the M6. There are several other differences beyond caliber, though, It comes with two actual triggers, unlike the old AF survival rifle, which had a "pad". The Chiappa is a bit less blocky than it's ancester too, though it still has the general look. I believe it uses a lever loop (think Winchester 94) to facilitate reloading and breakdown. I believe the M6 used a latch for the same function. The Chiappa had interchangable chokes. for the shotgun. Pretty sure the M6 didn't. Like you, I would probably try to find an old Savage 24, in the calibers I wanted. I think the prices on the Chiappa and the old Savage 24/42 are realatively the same. And I like the asthetics of the Savage much better. Unfortunately. the 42 only comes in a .22LR or .22Mag /.410 combination.

I’m going to stick to a narrow definition about what your asking and just talk about a combo firearm. If I were going to go that route, then I wouldn’t go with a rifle/rifle, I’d go rifle/shotgun and I’d select a .22/12 ga. The lowly 12ga shotgun will take any beast in North America, provided you have the right ammunition, the skill and the bravery. Anything from a rabbit to a grizzly bear. The .22 is perfect for small game. All that being said, it’s a poor choice for a firefight or for long range. The old Savage 24 were excellent quality guns. Latter on Savage brought out an updated model, called the 42. I believe Remington also imported a combo made in Turkey and badged as a Remington. Chiappa makes a version of the old Air Force Survival rifle in .22/12 ga that the Air Force used. https://www.chiappafirearms.com/product.php?id=213
