Knox County hit a new one day high today, 724 new cases. Since My last report here, there have been another 1,652 new cases and deaths rose to 258. That’s 24 more deaths. This is from the Thanksgiving holiday. Stats take from the daily report by the Knox County Health Department.

I picked a Ruger LC9S Pro two years ago and love it. It was my carry gun until this summer, when I let my son borrow it. Finally got it back last week and it’s been on my hip ever since. I though Ruger made a big mistake when they dropped it from the lineup in 2018. They recently brought them back out and upped the price about $150. The;new ones are selling for over $400.

Nice site, though I thought it funny that all the reviews were Walthers , but one or two. Not that I have a problem with Walthers, but you don't see a lot of them. After I scanned the reviews, I went and looked at the lists for most Popular Handguns for Women in 2017, 2018 and 2019. All are quality handguns, but I was a bit shocked that the LCPII made it on only the 2017 list and was replaced by the LCP on the 2018 and 2019 lists. The LCPII is a superior pistol to the LCP in every way, but it does weight a couple more ounces, but what's two ounces on a 10 ounce pistol? Also the LC9S made the list in 2017 and 2018, but since Ruger dropped it from the line up in 2019, it didn't make the 2019 list, obviously. Ruger, in my opinion, screwed the pooch on this. The LC9S is every bit as good as the S&W Shield or any other subcompact handgun on the market. They came to their senses this year and have added it back into the product line, and upped the price! <smh>

I have three 380s now, which is odd, because I used to hate the caliber! I could use some ball ammo for them all. Got plenty of SD ammo, though, so I'm not worried too bad about it. I was able to purchase four boxes of 9mm 115gr FMJ last week at $25 a box. That's not something I normally would do, I have a decent stockpile. But that was the cheapest price I've seen lately, so I decided to hop on it. I would do it again too, if I get the chance. I've been watching Harvey's auction off boxes of ammunition. He starts off with a decent price for today's market, usually about $20 for a box of 50 9mm FMJ. And it ends up selling for $60 or $70, with a bunch of people bidding. And then I see other people accusing him of price gouging because it goes so high on auction. To me that's not him, that's the buyers that willing to pay that much. Of course, I think it could be newbie gun owners that desperate for any ammunition to feed their new purchase.

I've been getting unindated with these ads on FB, the last two weeks. Oddly enough, this is nothing I have ever researched, so I have no clue as to why I am getting them. Holster and mag carriers, I could see, but not BA. The only armor, I ever wore was a flakjacket during Desert Storm. It was great for getting your LBE and pro mask carrier on and off, when you had to get up from sleep and go to the john! Think the Lord, I never had to depend on it.

Since my last report, above, there have been 2,470 new positive cases in Knox County. That's a hair under the avg of 500 per day. If you you just take into account the last 4 days the average is 519 new cases per day. The death toll attributed to COVID has risen to 234, 26 new deaths in 5 days. This might be the most useful thing you could do with them!

You can say what you want. Beat your chest till your black and blue for “freedom”. But it all comes down to personal responsibility and integrity. I have no intention of causing another individual to become ill or even die, because I don’t want to wear a mask or take a vaccine. But you go ahead and do you. I’ll do me.
