  1. I'm not a huge leather fan. Got a couple of them and hardly ever use them. that Super tuck gets the most use and I still find it hard to reholster that little J-frame. Leather stretches, when i gets wet. Kydex doesn't. Kydex is lighter. I've even gone to favoring kydex for my belt knives.
  2. I carry my S&W 442 in a Blackhawk Serpa CQC every now and then. Need a Kydex for IWB carry too. Right now, I use a DeSantis Super Tuck. It’s ok. Leather is pretty, but not as practical as Kydex.
  3. Well, it's not been a kind week for COVID patients in area hospitals. Since last Monday there have been 47 deaths attributed to COVID. the new death toll is now 353. Daily postive cases have declined from previous weeks. Since I last reported here, there have been 2,317 new positive cases. Stat's taken from the daily report by the Knox County Health Department.
  4. I’ve been buying mags. Picked another Taurus G2C mag yesterday.
  5. Great job testing this out! Sounds like I'm a bit too big for this, but nice to know it works!
  6. They have no issues with pocket knives. I carried an Auto the last time I was there and nothing was said about it.
  7. Soon as I saw the title, I was thinking the same thing! Those were pretty good books and I always wanted one of these after reading the series! Can it run Colt Officer mags too?
  8. Also check on Gun Broker. Several years ago I needed a mad for a Marlin 81. That’s where I found it.
  9. 1. A .22 fun gun 2. Single action revolver 3. Mil-Surps
  10. She was my first crush as a boy...
  11. I happen to like the aggresiveness of the grips on the FNS. I also like them on the Taurus G2 as well. And I happen to be a fan of the .45ACP XDs.
  12. Once the other person opened the door, then the threat was real, in my book. He had intent to do bodily harm. You had the right to draw and do what you did. However, I do think flying a bird was the wrong thing to do. That being said, I have to admit that I have done the samething a time or two in the past. Now I tend to wave at people, with the whole hand. Which, when you think about it, isn't very smart either. Better to not show any reaction at all.
  13. I have an FNS and I think it's superior to the Glock, to be honest. I also have a G17, I shoot the FNS a whole lot more and when I want to carry a big 9mm, that's the pistol that I go with. FNH makes excellent firearms! Just not a lot of accessoroes for them, if you are into that sort of thing.
  14. As far as COVID goes. I'm worried about other things though, not related to COVID. This is going to be a disaster for us if the Democrats win both Senate seats in Georgia on the 6th. I am worried. But I was worried with Trump too, so not a whole lots changed. I have never seen Trump as a friend of ours when it came to 2A. He turned on 2A quickly after Las Vegas, as I predicted.
  15. The Who comes to mind for me. "Won't Get Fooled Again" We'll be fighting in the streets With our children at our feet And the morals that they worship will be gone And the men who spurred us on Sit in judgement of all wrong They decide and the shotgun sings the song I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again The change, it had to come We knew it all along We were liberated from the fold, that's all And the world looks just the same And history ain't changed 'Cause the banners, they are flown in the last war I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again No, no! I'll move myself and my family aside If we happen to be left half alive I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky Oh I know that the hypnotized never lie Do ya? There's nothing in the streets Looks any different to me And the slogans are replaced, by the bye And a parting on the left Is now a parting on the right And the beards have all grown longer overnight I'll tip my hat to the new constitution Take a bow for the new revolution Smile and grin at the change all around Pick up my guitar and play Just like yesterday Then I'll get on my knees and pray We don't get fooled again Don't get fooled again No, no! Meet the new boss Same as the old boss
  16. I hope someone reminds Bernie of this, when a ban comes up for a vote in the coming years.
  17. Don't see that there is going to be much difference from the one running it right now.
  18. That was a good deal for both calibers. But honestly, I don’t know that SD rounds make a lot of sense in a .357. Pretty much any expanding round is a good SD round in .357.
  19. New cases for Knox County have flattened out over the last couple days, but deaths continue to rise. New cases in the last 9 days have gone up 3,193, while deaths went from 258 to 306, for a total of 48 deaths. Stat's taken from the daily report by the Knox County Health Department. Now back to our normal arguments!
  20. And she had a Knoxville connection, when she worked for AC Entertainment. She's also pretty hot too!
  21. Actually, not this time. I see this as an over reach, as well. Up until now, I've been on the side of "reason" with mask wearing and vaccinations. But I'm not for requiring everyone to carry papers to prove or disprove they've had the vaccination, simply be cause that leads to "papers" for other things. I will not be blindly led. I will make my own decisions, thank you.
  22. I agree with this and I actually have no issue with this. I was at an LGS Wednesday and they had 9mm in plastic ziplock bags, 50 rounds for $49.99.I have no idea who was loading it. Could some Bubba for all I know.
  23. I love the .32acp! Beautiful pistol and a very good carry gun! Congratulations!
  24. What a shame.
  25. F@$k China and the horse their Government rode in on.
